All of ryan gosling’s scenes- he’s a scene stealer. Ken beach off ballet. Will Farrell and Execs walking into the Ken beach off ballet.
Ryan Gosling is easily the best part of these Barbie press tour, grateful that the Barbie movie's charm was taken to the next level by his involvement
Thank you for recording then sharing this!
Thanks to the person who recorded this.I have watched many interviews with different groupings of the cast/director. This is one of the best
Many thanks to Annie, Josh, Ryan, America, Kate and Michael! 🌺 Oh, and a special thanks to Daisy!
Aye, this is cool that you were able to release this. Nice one!
(You were awesome in the Schmoedown btw. Just had to add that 👍)
This was a great interview! The questions were phenomenal! I just recently watched Barbie. It was such a feel good movie. I know it has alot of people talking about messages, and sure thats true. But this is also a movie that just makes you feel good about life. We've not had that experience for a long time. It took a lot us back to our childhood, when playing with Barbies was all we had to worry about. And our Barbies could be anything! Or do anything as long as we wanted her to.I had a weird Barbie, thanks to my brothers. I don't have sisters, but my half brother would play Barbies with me when he came over to visit. I didn't have a Ken doll but my big brother had the Kenergy, he was my real life Ken!
21:45 she had to kick it up
Ryan Gosling was the main reason the movie was so good. Ken's arc of realizing how toxic patriarchy is and discovering his own identity was hilarious and delivered the message effectively. Barbie's arc felt more like one preachy monologue after another. America ferrera's character Gloria had the same problem.
It was a case of show (ken) vs tell (barbie and gloria). Which is why I think it makes sense Ryan got the Oscar nomination and not Margot.
Well said
my initial reaction in the cinema was discomfort/akwardness towards the preachy parts, but by the end I loved that it dared to be so direct. Its definitly different but it reminded me a litlle of Sullivans Travels (1941), which both is awesome screwball and simutaneously very direct/preachy in its message. American Film Institute voted it the 25th Most Inspiring, the 39th Funniest, and the 61st Greatest American Film of All-Time. I have a feeling Barbie in time will head in the same direction.
@@dagenesskum I love the preaching. Always "preach" wearing pink clothes on a plastic set! LOVED THE PREACHING!
I completely disagree, but I do love Ryan Gosling, his performance is absolutely brilliant on so many levels. but I LOVED Margot Robbie too. She is the heart, the brains, the grace, and the truth that runs through the film. her performance isn't a showy as ken's obviously, but I thought she was brilliant and very moving. thanks for posting.
@@user-kv2tj4du8p I agree with you fully. I loved Ken, and I'm a sucker for anything Ryan Gosling is in, but I think the reason a lot of people liked Ken is because he's funny, and that's easy to grasp and appeal for a conventional audience that's not really there to look for a message VS. an audience who was there for the laughs as well, but also left feeling understood or somehow resonated with the message. Barbie's arc and story was a lot more subtle than Ken's (which doesn't make EITHER any less or more impactful), which is why many people tossed hers aside, and I think the team understood that.
Oppenheimer would be no where near as successful if it didn’t come out the same day as Barbie
Can be, but that doesn't take away the greatness of the movie.
Unpopular opinion lol
Ryan Gosling stole the whole show or probably is only thing watchable in Barbie
I loved Ryan Gosling, but I also loved all the other actors and the film in general. sorry you didn't like it. to say everything but Ryan Gosling in BARBIE is "unwatchable" seems a little over the top. "unwatchable"? when other summer blockbusters came out with batman or Spiderman or superman did you find things in those films "unwatchable"? or is this about something else maybe? unwatchable hmmm, using "unwatchable" as a description for literally everything else in BARBIE except Ryan Gosling. everything else. wow, that's not odd or transparent about you or anything, so I wouldn't worry about how such a statement makes you look or anything. we get it. it's clear, thanks for posting.
Rosamund Pike robbed of a nomination because of a derivative monologue that could've been written by AI
Barbie is one of the worst movies I've ever seen
I bet you’re one of those ‘all lives matter’ people
well that is an objectively stupid take, do you feel more manly now?? Do you feel better?? you poor little thing
You didn’t watch Barbie. You just went on every comment section to bitch about it…
that is too bad. I really liked it.what other summer blockbuster movies have been "one of the worst movies" you've ever seen? any of the spider man''s? any of the batman's? any of the raiders of the lost ark? any of the superman's? jaws? any of the x men movies? or just BARBIE? is it just BARBIE that is one of "the worst movies" you've ever seen? just asking. thanks for posting.
Were you watching it on your own? Have you had a chance to elaborate your reasons? Perhaps you have only watched a narrow range of movies...
