Back when I played in 2007-2010 when I was 8 years old I was always top of the leader board with 20+ kills. Now I’m struggling to get 5 and am at the bottom of the leaderboard lmao
Same. I was getting 15-20 kills back then. Redownloaded it a couple years ago and determined my greatest impact is driving warthogs around for other people.
Just so you know the timer starts when the weapon has been picked up and has stood still for 2 seconds or more or the respawn time will be delayed. One thing I do is once I pick up a power weapon and I have time I stand still for 2 seconds then look at the timer and do the math.
KevinKoolx MLG weapons time themselves after sitting for 2 seconds since they spawn in the air and drop to the ground. If you dirty a weapon by picking it up as it falls too quickly then you can still use the 3second stand still to time it in mlg
Hell yeah the gunplay is unreliable, it’s like sometimes I barely have to lead my shots and other times I can’t even find out how far I need to be leading them. Never had this problem on the 360.
KevinKoolx lol that’s the problem I have with projectile based gunplay, but it does lead to a bigger skill gap, unlike halo 2 with the br which is nice
Correction: MCC H3 seems to be a hot topic for a portion of the community. It’s a bit unjust to suggest the whole or majority of the community are all about H3.
I'd still say a majority though. Looking at twitch numbers MCC has like 3-5 times tbr viewership. Don't worry Halo will still be a thing on this channel and in my Twitch
Dude I use to be able and get an average of 25 to 30 kills per game back on 360. Now every time I go and play 3 on MCCI get destroyed with an average of 10 to 15 with an equal amount of deaths. IDK what's up but I feel I should be doing great but I keep getting worse each game.

@@kiefydoinks anywhere you hit them while thier shields are up does the same amount of damage, headshot only does double damage after you break the shield. Seldom times I search H4 but never H3. I’m not bad at it and yes I was around during the OG days but it’s just not Halo to me compared to all the others.
Matt Kershino 2 Again, Halo 3 never felt like Halo “to me.” Don’t get me wrong, I played Halo 3 during its run (as I’ve always played the current Halo of the time), and the campaign (particularly the climax of the H1-3 storyline itself over the inferior gameplay) appealed to me for a time; but Halo 2 was always superior to 3 in every facet, particularly with H2’s MUCH better multiplayer. H3’s terrible FOV, resulting in a significantly slower feel to movement, along with the inferior BR (with randomness), lack of hitscan weapons, having to lead shots w/projectile weapons ALL led to Halo 3 not feeling like a true Halo game. I can understand that for many H3 was the Halo of their youth and what they grew up on so they naturally feel inclined to revert to their comfort zone but Halo 3 had a number of issues that plagued my experience with it compared to CE and 2 (particularly with its multiplayer). As such I never got fully invested into H3 like I did with all the others. Also, I know 343i has been improving some of this, but the inaccuracy issues and randomness with the shots were dreadfully exasperated in the MCC for YEARS making me further wonder how its popularity has survived (but to each their own, I suppose). On this note - I normally don’t try to knock other gamers’ preferences either like this but my MCC experience was lessened for years by the over saturation of H3 in the playlists that forced us into H3 before custom search came along to save the day for myself and so many classic fans like me who don’t want to be dragged down by H3. And H3’s big team was dreadful compared to H2, especially when you were stuck transversing the maps on foot at such a “slow,” pace (thanks to that FOV again), after all the vehicles were inevitably swallowed up. Lastly on H3, this is more of a personal preference thing really, but I always thought the maps were extremely disappointing and thoroughly uninspired compared to CE and 2 (granted I am aware that some fans consider H3’s maps to be their favorite, I’m just certainly not among them in this regard). Also tbh I really haven’t played much Halo 4 either since the new custom search browser premiered back in November. It’s just a better multiplayer experience than the drag that H3 has to offer. H4 wasn’t perfect by any means (which is another subject entirely) but at least H4 had better and accurate weapons, a better FOV (leading to a better pace in multiplayer), and much better maps than H3.
In halo 4 anyone can use the br the hitscan is easy man i hated it. H2 is brilliant. But in h3 i hit most of my shots only dont when i miss because ive taught myself to be good at the game i wouldnt put it down to randomness. Matt Kershino 2 I do agree that H4 doesn’t hold a candle to H2. I can understand the criticisms on Halo 4 (to an extent) as it’s not without its flaws. Part of the issue with the easiness of Halo 4 was that the hit box for the head was massive, but also the bullet magnetism was really strong. H3 did have a better campaign but I still enjoyed H4’s multiplayer way more than 3’s and consequently got exponentially more replay value out of it. I didn’t hate Halo 3 I just didn’t get a ton of replay value out of it (which of all the Halo games ever made this was the only one that I can truly say this about, unfortunately). My only real bitterness about H3 stems from all the years being all but forced to play it on cross game playlists in the MCC when I really only wanted H2C. Here’s my list of best to worst Halo titles: For Multiplayer: H2C, HCE, H5, H4, Reach Beta, H2A, ODST (firefight), Reach/HCEA (Same thing really), H5 Beta, H3 For Campaign: H2, ODST, H3, HCE, Reach, H4, H5 For Overall Replayability (Top 3): H2C, HCE, H4 For Overall Replayability (Worst 3): H3, Reach, H2A I still sort of like H2A but there just weren’t nearly enough maps and it felt too slow like H3. Reach’s armory and overall customization was really what made it appealing to me but the allure of this too eventually wore off over time. I will say that it was brilliant of Bungie to have your multiplayer character carry over into Campaign (especially with the arms which was another nice touch), but something about the gameplay always felt sloppy to me and unpolished for some reason.
