Amazing video. This game is actually a favourite of mine once I figured out how to make the handling bearable. The cars actually behave muuuuch more predictably when you only ever tune the cars slightly in either the drift or grip directions. Tires also affect the cars in this way. Balanced tire and tuning setups are actually the way to making this game fun, despite how much it encourages you to go fully in either a drift or grip setup. Once I figured this out, it allowed me to fully appreciate the awesome map, customisation and atmosphere of the game. Yet to try mods though, apparently theres some good handling mods out there which might be worth checking out too.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed 😊 I’ll have to check out your handling suggestions, this game looks so good I would love to have an excuse to go back to it and try again
i really liked this game i must say. just yeah... i would have played it more if the handling was just better like rivals or payback. really loved the setting and real people again. Also really nice scene with the going to the door, had me laughing really hard when you said you have no garage. great video again man!
Hit the nail on the head again mate. NFS 2015 could've been the soft "reboot" the devs were looking for if they had've just changed the driving model to better match some of their earlier titles. Visually stunning game even for 2024 considering its age. In most racing game reviews I tend to notice that (typically) more sim-cade heavy racers (Iracing, gt games, even most recent fm games) tend to struggle to have good progression while having great driving, and more pure arcade racers (grid, NFS, more recent project cars) tend to struggle on the actual driving physics. Do you think that the modern day racing genre has boxed itself into these subgenres too much and by doing so has forced games to go down these routes. or is it just developers getting too focused on one aspect of a game? Sorry for the poor wording, loving the vids keep it up.
I think you’re probably right, modern racers seem to either sit in the sim or arcade genre and that’s kind of it and the sims really struggle with progression, the most recent Forza is a great example, I’ve been playing a lot of the older ones recently and the progression in all of them all the way up to 5 is pretty fantastic Glad you’re enjoying the vids 😊
I picked up this game last Christmas and I pretty much agree with what you said though there's some points I'd like to bring up as well: 1. AI speed It's really not a race anymore once you have fully upgraded your vehicle, the game really should have found a way to balance the AI like Shift 2 or Rivals did. Also in hot lap events, your car can clearly be faster than the AI though they would still achieve the faster lap somehow. 2. Lack of difficulty leads to boredom and repetition This ties to my point earlier on AI; events are now just checklist items once your car is fully upgraded, you do it to get it over with becaue there isn't much fun to get out of it anymore. The only events I really look forward to are togue events, only because drifting is fun and I don't have to slow down like in drift trains where the AI is slow asf. Not only that, once you finish the story you are given the same events AGAIN as something to do, which only added to the repetition of the game. These events are harder so there is slightly more competition in that, but having already done those events before makes me want to not play them again, so I pretty much stopped playing the game after that. Though one good thing the game did was bring back decent customization, considering previous games in the early 2010s (Hot Pursuit, Most Wanted 2012, and Rivals) were lacking in that department. I also enjoyed the real life bit at 4:57! I think you should incorporate more of those in your videos! Keep up the good work man 👍
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the vid and yeah I agree about the touge events, the handling and the ai definitely makes the drift events more enjoyable than the racing
I really hope you're planning to play the next couple Need For Speeds by Ghost, cause they really did try to improve and build on this game a lot with the sequels
MostWanted´s cutscenes are " off the rails" but constantly funny. These cutscenes where cringy from the start and have aged so poorly. The Icons/ SpeedHunters and Monster product placement seems sor forced. Then theres the crappy handling even mods cant fully fix and nothing stands out in terms of racing or police work. Nothing that would have warranted a " Reboot", they couldnt call it Underground 3 but had no other names? It looks good still today, even tho its always raining and the areas for " dawn" and " evening" are hard coded in there and very obvious :)

Developers wanted to call it UnderGround 3
On PC there are handling mods that completely overhaul the controls and make it more predictable and grip focused that make the game wayyyy better.

Thanks! I definitely wished it handled better. Happy you enjoyed the vid 😊
I wish they would make this game offline. I drift better in this game than the other ones.

I purchased this game on the PlayStation store years ago now it’s locked behind EA play and isn’t in my game library anymore WTF?!
Just started plying need for speed unbound, it’s alright. Whoever that guy is he should make a video about that game now.
Great video, as per usual!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed 😊
It's the handling model that absolutely killed this game for me.
And even UNITE mod or others can fully fix that :(
Yup same for me
Underrated as fuxk
Now hear me out….. Anthem (2019)??
I really hope you're planning to play the next couple Need For Speeds by Ghost, cause they really did try to improve and build on this game a lot with the sequels
Yup definitely going to check them out 😊
Best part of this game is you the character reveals themself as a furry
Great Video Dude!. Loved it!!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed 😊
Im starting to think you might be a pianist.
Honestly 2015 isn't as bad as unbound. It's a weird game but still solid
Game is cool, handling is sh*t
Agreed
Great video. Trash game. I think I paid $2 and I still feel like I got ripped off. 😊
❤

Yeah I guess I enjoy laughing at the cringe 😂 the day night stuff is super weird, it’s like a switch they turn on and off as you’re driving around
You should just stop playing racing games on 30 fps. It's weird.
Because everyone HAS to play at 120 fps these days right?
@@TheRomanianCrow If you can choose becouse you platop can handel it, why stuck at 30 fps of 2 generion old consol ? WHY! Iam asking!
