Nice video Phil - very informative. I’ve lived in Bangkok for 7 years and visited Pattaya many times - and there’s stuff in here that’s totally new to me !! Two queries for you ….. 1) where exactly is the Jomtien Exercise Park ?? 2) which part of greater Brum are you from? - I was born & dragged up in Sutton. I’ll come and look you up next time I’m in Pattaya 👍🏼
Some excellent tips. The Jomtien fishing was good reminder, will give that a try. Went in Hooters a few weeks back. Not a buxom service lady to be seen. I think there will be a lot of shops for rent soon when the Cannabis shops die a death.
Hooters, went there recently and some very buxom girls maybe you went on a bad day. Cannabis shoos, 555 let’s see in a year. The election will have a big day in what happens. So many peoples economy depends on it now, from growers to sellers.
Good selection there mate. I've never had a massage there either. ~30 years going there for me, lived there on and off for over 10. Agree with you on the weed. IMO it's not something Thailand needs. Weed has always been available to Thais, and westerners who knew where to find it. Puzzling that they would make it easily available to tourists. I was shown "Secret Beach" in the late '90s by a long-term expat/resident. Then it really WAS a secret, to the point where it was ALWAYS deserted, and only one of the two bars was even open. Great place to have a quiet beer and watch the sunset back then. A lot of the great stuff to do isn't there all year. Festivals like Burapha Bike Week and the Jester Care for Kids fair that last a few days or a week usually feature great food, cheap beers, live music, crafts and merchandise, and a chance to hobnob with the expats and other colorful life forms. There are also various car shows, music festivals, sports contests and other stuff that's a nice diversion from the usual goings-on. BTW, not sure I'll be able to get back until later this year, but a friend of mine will be popping back into the bar to pick up some t-shirts for me and my missus. He was in last Thursday and sent me some Line pics of you holding up the merch. Cheers!
@@LePubPattaya Can't say as I blame you. I wanted to get there Aprl 3, but had been monitoring airfares for about three weeks, & pulled the proverbial trigger. If you're back by May 4 I'll see you then
It's not Sandwell hospital, should go down well with International viewers lol. I've heard there's a Walking Street worth visiting. Go to #30 ask Phil or the girls whilst drinking with them, where it is 😉
secret beach was our hangout back in 1996/97 there was only one little bar ran by Andy's mother-in-law Ladda,Andy had the Brittania guesthouse in soi Yamotto we go down there late for a feed and few beers and watch the sunsets.
Excellent job Phil and Balloon Chaser! Don't be tempted to satisfy the public clamour of creating a video for Phil's first Thai Oil massage, trust me it's not something we need to see 😄
@@peapaulofthailand6539 very important that the presenter stands in direct sunlight without a hat for lighting purposes. That's what I tell Phil anyway!
A very good list. But no oil massage, Phil? Really? This is the one thing of the day that I will never miss in Pattaya. 1 hour of pure relaxation for only 300 baht. Almost priceless here in Germany (about 3000 baht)
Sauna.. Cool the thais acctually pronounce the word way more correctly than the english speakers does, when comparing to the original finnish word. There is also Underwater World and the floating market just south of Pattaya on Sukhumvit road and Mini Siam also on Sukhumvit, but to the north.
Canabis shops not good for the country's image but the beer bars and go go bars with "working girls" that you run are perfectly wholesome?.......come on!!!
@@chrishaha6906 yes, if people get relief from pain with it I’m happy for them and have no problem with people conduit in private. But it stinks. Gooday

#30 is the best of them all!!!
Agreed
My money is on Balloon Chaser putting that great video together, with Phil chipping in with the last 2 places.
It was a joint effort.
If only I was that creative, Bigbopprer!

Missed so much. Bit of drum beating for Jomtien and its suburbs . And as for the fish market, come on. There is only one and that's Naklua.
Yes, but everyone knows that one.

Glad you enjoyed it! We certainly did.
Just what I need this coming holiday thanks, Mr. Phil.

Always enjoy your videos. Looking forward to visiting your bars and meeting the girls in a few weeks. I'll buy you a beer when I'm in town.

I threw that one in. Some big celebrities born there. Phil Lynott and me.
Love the oil massage especially after a workout in the gym, Even picked one with the sign no happy ending but that seems optional.
Thanks for sharing!!
Mr. Egg never disappoints, thank you for this
for massages: if the staff is in uniforms don't ask...
Ok. But they sometimes give anyway. So my friends tell me.
From when till when is the highseason if you dont mind me asking?
Many different answers to this. I think after Songkran, end of April till November

The first thing to do is LePub
Agree with that one
Chaiyapruek "park" ha ha is there any grass there, thought not. Just another concrete Thai park.
It’s not like a British park.
