That bay area where you were across Mall of Asia will drastically change once construction starts. It will obstruct the view from that spot when the New Manila Bay City of Pearl rises from those ongoing reclamation projects.
Still riding with no helmet 😅Anak HF-12 Half Face Nutshell Helmet on Lazada Glad you are enjoying your new scooter I love my Kugoo. A hook on the stem to hold a shopping bag also comes in clutch
Half shell isn't recommended on stand up scooters. Most accidents are face plants... Motorcycle Full face helmet is the best. 40+ kph speeds you'll need a full face motorcycle helmet. Nutshells are good for 15 to 20kph using bicycles and skates not motorized vehicles. I've been riding electric scooters since 2017. Most injuries Ive seen are face plants.
Christmas season is much popular in the Philippines than the Independence day. Fireworks activities are 100 times more than during the Independence Day unlike in the US.
I walked from Two Maridien in BGC to MOA in August. Took me a little less than two hours if I remember correctly. I was wondering how you were going to get the scooter over those steps. No, I did not walk back!
I'm curious about that pile of sediment deposited in Manila Bay. When I visited over a year ago, I don't remember seeing that. I they developing land there?
Stay safe always bro.. hopefully no officer would call out your scooter 🛴 passing EDSA coz there's a ban this year of such like e-scooters/e-bikes on major roads they said for safety reasons... Though regular bikes are still allowed 😂 --Former e-bike user here
Hey man, I'm from the Philippines and I ride my motorcycle daily instead of a car for convenience. You're so brave taking that scooter in major roads, I wouldn't even do that. Haha. Keep safe! Also, I don't think you can ride that in EDSA, if you come across a corrupt traffic enforcer, they might try to get money off of you since you're a foreigner. Get gear too, wear an open face helmet at least.
I noticed you called the young girl "ma'am". I do that too for a laugh but sometimes they get annoyed. "It's miss, not ma'am!" Call the older ones miss and the young ones ma'am that's my philosophy.
well, i also do not know why many of us filipinos go to rizal park or luneta every december 25. what i remember is that my parents always bring us to the rizal park every christmas and we have picnic there with sandwiches and other foods. we as kids always anticipate and excited about that picnic
ROAD PENALTIES There's a P1,000 to P5,000 penalty for e-scotters plying major highways & thoroughfares like EDSA & SkyWay (especially if there's no bike lane). Unfortunately, traffic enforcers are hard to find these days ('coz all road related issues were now relegated to traffic surveillance cameras (CCTVs)). The road penalties incurred will only be reflected upon car registration or driver's license renewal. As we all know, all e-scotters are NOT registered in LTO, hence they're "untraceable" (as they don't have files in LTO during renewal).
ANYTHING NEW?? Well, there's already an SM MOA annex or extension. SM MOA is organically "changing" year after year. Soon, a huge Landers will be opened around that area. New condominium buildings. 2025 may also be the opening of another Resort & Casino near Solaire & Okada. Then the Reclamation Projects may be completed within 5 years timeframe that may ultimately change its landscape.
Is there a small camera that can be installed on top of your head with the helmet on or cap on , in that way your hand is free. I’ve seen that on some other blogger. Our family in Arizona USA 🇺🇸 it’s always excited watching you, riding with your scooter in Manila Philippines 🇵🇭 my husband is worried he said ,you should wear a helmet. He doesn’t want to see you getting into hit and run, thanks for sharing
More appropriate to address Rizal as Doctor. He was a prominent Opthalmic surgeon in his time. His Irish wife's foster dad came here to get his eyes treated by Dr. Rizal.
I look forward to your future vlog about your experience with insurance claims processing after severely injuring yourself on the scooter and being refused due to gross negligence (no saftey gear and violating traffic laws).
If you want a much faster scooter and lighter weight, there are two more brands available: one is made by a South Korean company that can run at 72 miles per hour. The other one is made by a French American company based in LA that can run at 90 miles per hour. The French/American brand is more expensive because it's made of carbon fiber it is lightweight and foldable too, and you will have no problem carrying it around everywhere, but it will take several months before it can be delivered to your location. The South Korean brand though will deliver it to you in a few weeks. With this kind of SPEED, you can easily beat any kind of fast cars and motorbikes on the street.
You're more brave than I am. I have zero interest risking my life riding that thing. Prefer being in an SUV, partially protected from all of the terrible drivers.
*_Just be aware that helmets are required when riding e-vehicles. True you might need a license to drive them on the streets except national highways like EDSA, you got lucky and were not flagged._*
Im thinking about buying a scooter from the scooter place on 37th street and 6th avenue in BGC Park West. I was looking at the one with a seat and bigger tires.

I know we all sound like a broken record but you really have to wear protection like a good quality helmet, knee pad, elbow pad. And as my suggestion before an armour suit. I’m joking but you get the drift, right?
Electric scooter need to set the maximum sped limit 30km then rider still in control when they fall. Unlike motorbike you can control with 2 legs and hands hold on to it which reduce the impact and injuries
Mergim stop riding motorbike but electric scooter even more dangerous than motorbike. The road surface in Manila not even. Sick episode bro. I'm feelin the scooter. Keep up the good work!
Don't undestimate the road, please protect yourself with a decent helmet & pads! Potholes & road cracks are very much common & everywhere!
Nice of you to help her. Malabon is northernmost city of Metro Manila, at the border of Bulacan. Its a fishing city. Just go straight Roxas Boulevard.

Like BGC and may take around 5 to 10 years to complete.

You went to Mall of Asia from Mandaluyong then went to Rizal Park with the scooter, that's a long way. Stay safe as always. 2025 is upon us, let's GO!
That soil that’s been ‘dumped’ is land reclamation for development. Take a look at what is proposed. It’s impressive if it comes to fruition.
I dare you to go Shaw Boulevard at peak hour. Now that would be a great video 😂

Would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend having shoes on and a helmet, perhaps some simple full finger gloves as well incase of a fall. Be safe!
