Yeh the biggest annoyance with grounded is the incessent nerfing of everything that works, not that is OP/broken, just everything that works. They really want this game to be "challenging" and instead they just end up making stuff a tedious slog where you gotta do wonky prep like this instead of just playing the game and getting good at it.
its good but it triggers never for me, sometimes not even after 20 parries or more and then triggers if im at full hp. wiki says 20 or 25 % or something, but its more like 5%
A good alternative to Trapper PEEP.R is Spicy Safety to reduce the damage of her combo attacks, also doesn't require farming gold cards or having a save from when Trapper PEEP.R was easy to unlock.
Thank you for the build it really helped me out, I tried to go with black ox armour with the broodmother mask but it wasnt as good IMO. Also let me just say that I died countless times to the attack where the IBM shoots explosive spores out of its rear. It was a challenging but fun fight 9/10 boss fight, 10/10 guide!
Looks like you've finally accepted Toenail Scimitar supremacy. Also, the IBM has a special Infected tag, so only her stuffed and mounted versions will work.

Thank you so much for the video! Me and my parents have been struggling trying to defeat this thing for a while but we were able to defeat it today after we watched this guide! Thank you so much for the help! ❤️
What I used was corporate kickback, shocking dismissal, coup de grass, mithridatism, and blademaster, along with mantis armor, shield solidifier, and a toenail scimitar. You are taking so little damage with the blademaster when you do get hit that you can easily heal it back with corporate kickback. If you are struggling with the fight definitely use this
alright boys, after 120 hours its time to beat this monster. I am about to start this battle at 2:00 AM. Wish me luck and will update you guys on the battle.
Tbh I really liked your help with this and I've actually learnt alot from it. 😅 I'm really used to my strats (unnecessarily complicated) like. 1. Get like. 300 beefy smoothies (maybe 500) 2. Corporate kickback is best for this since with an upgraded mint scimitar it fully heals me in 4 hits its best paired with sleek black Ox armor so you can sneak in a fully charged hit to get that damage buff
I tired your original build but only had level 1 lil fist and died so many times. I took a break from the game, came back used this build and killed it first go. Thanks for the updated build
I used lady bug full set mutations: coup de Gras, spicy safety, trapper peeper, meat shield, great sword perk. Plus black ox burger also had every smoothie. Toe schimter an red ant shield.
I love ur vids! As beginner I don’t know what to do next after hedge chip can u make a progression guide (what weapons u should get what u should upgrade and when to get better weapons/armor) also when and what story stuff next
I found a new risky strategy but deals massive damage. Full koi with a fresh rusty spear to be thrown and fire ant shield. Mutations javelineer, spicy safety, coup de grass, trapper peepr, and cardio fan. Smoothies sticky boss sauce, boost juice, green machine, liquid rage, human food, sticky slop, with also bandages. I eat a wasperole with miteloaf and sleep in a petal bed. Fastest kill time on WHOA was just under 3 minutes.
@@paraly5er oh it’s happened a few times of my spear being thrown across the area and other times of it being stuck in one of its legs that raises high up, “Listen hear ya little biscuit give me my spear back!”
@@paraly5er I decided to test it on mild after whoa and the damage was crazy. Phase 3 one of the throws from the spear almost did 1k damage when it was a crit, ridiculous.
You should test sleek koi armor for this fight. I used it for this fight on Whoa and it was a savage. Gives you increased parry window, small stun buff, and a guaranteed 20% decreased to enemy defense every parry. I used it with the fire ant shield and it was amazing. Also obviously with mount buffs, smoothies, and meals. I want to say each combo was dealing about 240 damage on the 3rd phase. The infected broodmother has 6000 hp on that phase and the 240 damage was demolishing her health.
The increased parry window is so small that it's almost pointless and the increased stun is literally useless. The 20% damage decrease is very good though and a good option although it does leave you with low defence making it a risky fight. I think this build is better for most players as it allows you to take more hits without dying. The koi build is probably better to kill it faster for the better grounded players
I beat her for the first time on medium in the early hours of this morning, I was using the same shield and weapon combo but had a poison / venom armor set up, even with the buffs it's not enough to negate her resistances, so I took a long walk home switched to the fire ant gear and took her down 1st try, the armor wasn't even maxed out.
No matter what build I try my dad and I can’t get this done and we have it on mild and we suck at blocking we only have a achievement because someone joined the game and beat the boss for us, and that gave us the achievement. The debut stacks to much and should have a limit and should run out. At this point I just want to beat the boss a couple more times for the weapon. I get the boss is supposed to be hard and all that, but wouldn’t you want more people to beat it to experience it and all that and to get the achievement.
Maybe I’m just not the best at the game but I beat all the other bosses and it did not feel like a pain. Could be just get good but I don’t like the just get good mentality of games idk

So i havent seen any videos with the sleek gas mask. i wanted to experiment with it, gas mask, ladybug chest legs, compliance badge corporate kickback spicy safety mutation. as for the weapon tick maca with fresh. i cannot say for sure if the gas mask made a difference with her gas as well as her bombs but i will say it was a lot cleaner and safer run than i did with full ant toe nail fresh similar to this video. at the end of the day tho, you really need to practice those parries as compliance badge will heal you a ton during phase 3. i did this on normal difficulty tho so nothing too crazy.
It would definitely work for the explosive damage but as you saw in the fight I did I didn't get hit by any explosives as I was standing in the perfect place at all times. The dust cloud doesn't matter as it only reduces player healing so as long as you don't get hit you don't need to worry about it

Mansterious strangers is also a really good option as it distracts the boss. Especially with more players as you have more chance to summon it (2 people with it equipped is higher chance than 1 person)
Just breaking mint candies. I would reccomend breaking all candy though as there is a cap on candy on the map so just go around breaking all of it I guess
@Paraly5er thanks, did so with a friend, and got the kill. I rocked rolly polly t9 with shield trinket, red ant shield, and t9 fresh toenail scimmy. Didn't use shocking dismissal, I replaced it for reliable friend
Hi I know I am writing 2 weeks after the post, but I need some pieces of information about the mutations. I use blademaster(you said it covers the stamina, so I dont use cardio fan), spicy safety(I searched it on wiki and it has stabbing damage), shocking dismissal, and corporate kickback also. For the last one, I use coupe de grass. I dont use trapper peeper for one reason: mine is only level 1/3 so it would only buff my crit by 20%. Please correct me in anything I am wrong. Thanks🎉
That sounds great, those mutations should work really well. Corporate kickback isn't needed but if you are taking a lot of damage then it will help to heal you
@@paraly5er Multiplayer scaling doesn't kick in until 3 people, and even then it is only 1.5x HP, so still better. And the only things that scale are HP, stun required, and stun duration. Overall, multiplayer is very generous. If you are 2 player, the extra guy is just a bonus and doesn't make it any harder.
Guys the best weapon against the infected broth mother is the sour axe and armor mantis head red ant chest and mantis leggings so easy for me to destroy that guy also you can use full red ant armor trinket is godly goop
I killed the infected broodmother with a level 9 fresh toenail scimitar and bulky rolly Polly armour so the infected broodmother doesn’t do as much damage and she doesn’t go for my dad who drinks the infected water because the plan was for her to go after me, and my dad was using a very good bow build to buff me and had the bards Tudor so even less likely for the infected broodmother to attack him, which is good because he drinker the infected water so he takes alot of damage, the plan was for me to be the tank and he is the support to buff me more and still do some damage, he didn’t use the ant lion armour for quick charge because it’s multiplayer so obviously it’s better to use bards Tudor.. so yeah super fun I love the infected broodmother she’s the best boss.. went in with no spoilers and legit thought she died so easily.. lol I was so wrong.. and I forgot to mention it took us 5 tries to kill her
@@paraly5er yeah.. multiplayer is just so laggy for whoever isn’t the host.. sucks that my dad can’t perfect block because his ping too high bc he’s not the host.. it’s why I was the tank and he was using a bow otherwise he would die to ping…. I hope the devs fix the issue
I think dissection expert only works when u have the mutation on and are fighting a bug I don’t think it works if you equip it at the end after it’s been killed (I think) 😊
You 4739279% can simply equip dissection when you are ready to harvest. I always have natural explorer, rascal, and dissection on a class with 2 other mutations, if I ever kill a black ox or whatever I swap to it
Dissection expert works even if you kill it without it equipped. When I killed the wasp queen I ended up with 10 chunks, 2 from stealing and 8 from looting, along with 2 wings and 1 head. It definitely works after the fact
I was fighting this thing for like 20 minutes and it still had full health on stage 2. It's BS, I see these videos and it's nothing like when I play. Where's all the explosions? Why is she so slow? And it seems like she doesn't heal at all for you guys.
I can defo update this guide but the main change since this is that the shield reduces damage dealt by 20% which makes it a little harder. There are plenty of explosions, it’s about learning where to stand to always avoid them
Not how it works. The might from the sus ice cap ONLY applies to the damage from the ice cap and doesn't affect the damage from the toenail scimitar so a fresh scimitar is better

does the waspidote smoothie not do anything for her?
Nah she inflicts venom not poison
fuzz on the rocks still heals you kind of normally even with the debuffs she does
All smoothies heal the same so this literally makes no sense
Does this still work?
Yes
Is this build still usable? Or did it get nerfed as well
Still usable, still one of the best builds
so funny how they nerf everything strong but just avoid buffing the weak weapons.. its not like this is some competitive game.
Hi
I know I am writing 2 weeks after the post, but I need some pieces of information about the mutations.
Corporate kickback isn't needed but if you are taking a lot of damage then it will help to heal you
Thank you for your reply. About 5 hours ago we have managed to beat it😀
Yeah the little fist build was debuffed, when I used it it seemed pretty bad…
why dont you have poison resist
Inf brood only inflicts venom not poison so no point
ah ok@@paraly5er
Is the water thing new?
Yeah she buffs from the water so stay away, you can also drink it for buffs but it's not worth it
im used to playing on 120 fov and i got dizzy watching the video
Low fov makes you dizzy?
Grounded needs to make a trophy of you change my mind
I thought a Sign set with content creators logos on would be cool tbf
assassin armor is very good as well, beat it on my first try on whoa (i also used spicy safety mutation)
Yeah just a bit more risky due to the lower defence
My heart when he just deleted those parts 💔❤️🔥
Hahaha
Does this build work for 2 player
It should, more players means the boss has slightly more health but this would still work well
@@paraly5er yea we tried the fight 2 days ago but the farthest we got was stage 3 like half because of her bombs and her super fast attacks
This is better imo, especially for people who are trying to beat it for the first time
My freind said smector is harder then this im starting to wonder if he has eatan something bad recently
Yeah he might be ill, this is the hardest boss in the game
I killed the infected broodmother with a level 9 fresh toenail scimitar and bulky rolly Polly armour so the infected broodmother doesn’t do as much damage and she doesn’t go for my dad who drinks the infected water because the plan was for her to go after me, and my dad was using a very good bow build to buff me and had the bards Tudor so even less likely for the infected broodmother to attack him, which is good because he drinker the infected water so he takes alot of damage, the plan was for me to be the tank and he is the support to buff me more and still do some damage, he didn’t use the ant lion armour for quick charge because it’s multiplayer so obviously it’s better to use bards Tudor.. so yeah super fun I love the infected broodmother she’s the best boss.. went in with no spoilers and legit thought she died so easily.. lol I was so wrong.. and I forgot to mention it took us 5 tries to kill her
This sounds like a really good plan since the bard bow gives some really good buffs.
Suspicious ice cap is so extremely rare one of the only trinkets i dont got
It is hard to get tbf, can also use thor's pendant though
@@paraly5er ye i did it a few times solo on mild but most far i got on medium is 1/4 hp left on 3rd fase
I'll replace cardio fan with mant
Cardio fan is great but with blade master it's not entirely neccessary
@@paraly5er lately I've been really lucky with Mant I got 4 Mants when fighting a fire ant the poor ant didn't stand a chance 🤣
I think dissection expert only works when u have the mutation on and are fighting a bug I don’t think it works if you equip it at the end after it’s been killed (I think) 😊
I could be wrong but I feel like it's worked for me. Could just make the stuffed infected brood and rub it after the first kill for more loot
I got it to half of 3rd health then died i just got overwhelmed
Yeah takes a lot of practice on stage 3
you know no matter how many times you do this they will nerf your build and you will have to do another video forever
Not true, this is like 90% skill 10% good build, no way they nerf it
@@paraly5er it will be so funny if they do
I was fighting this thing for like 20 minutes and it still had full health on stage 2. It's BS, I see these videos and it's nothing like when I play. Where's all the explosions? Why is she so slow? And it seems like she doesn't heal at all for you guys.
I can defo update this guide but the main change since this is that the shield reduces damage dealt by 20% which makes it a little harder. There are plenty of explosions, it’s about learning where to stand to always avoid them
2:57 he just trashed the most hardest item to get
LOL, this was a custom game haha, can't clog up my inventory
Is no one gonna talk about the shirt?
???
@@paraly5er mb just relized I put the wrong comment on the wrong vid but great tutorial tho but do you have one for the wasp queen
f grounded for nerfing all the fun builds
It is what it is lol, no fun with the fists

This fight was disappointingly easy ngl
Really? You must be really good then because most people cry about how hard it is
@@paraly5er maybe it was because it was on medium, but it really just felt like a crazy fast widow. Or maybe the build is just that good lol
Could the suspicious ice cap be used without any downside if your toenail scimitar was mighty?
That’s what I would do as it would make it do more damage because of the mighty damage
Not how it works. The might from the sus ice cap ONLY applies to the damage from the ice cap and doesn't affect the damage from the toenail scimitar so a fresh scimitar is better
