@@Beginner2BadassBiker I used to ride a few others (honda hornet etc) but this little Zontes U1 is my definitive choice... I truly love this small little 125 ;)

From the 'taster' of the next vid, you probably realise, that over the bridge, you were only 400 yards from the 'visitor centre' nice cafe and easy parking. I live in Mid Wales and ride the lanes regularly, and the lane from Llanwrthwl to Elan village (the last lane you rode before parking up) I've ridden probably over 100 times and only ever seen 2 pedestrians, BUT I never ride Bank Holiday weekends, I'm always away, so just shows that people do get out & about. 👍I love it here, been here 7 years, great biking roads, and as an ex-blackcountryman, I'll never go back, nice vid 🙂

Thanks for your comment. We didn't get to try the visitor's centre but will endeavour to try next time. You live in a beautiful part of the country to have all of this just on your doorstep...it's 'bostin'! What bike do you ride, we can then keep an eye out for you when we are next in the area. Thanks for watching, Tara A Bit

@@Beginner2BadassBiker Hi, sorry for late reply, been away on a 'silent' weekend, I'm blackcountry, born Cradley heath, raised Stourbridge, moved from home when 21, never been back, and Yes it's beautiful here, but, 😑 I kinda take it for granted now, just cos I'm here every day.🤔 Good to see you out & about and Kudos for the track you did on road tyres 😄 I came to Wales with one bike, a Kwak Z1000SX, now I have 5, a different Kwak Z1000SX, Green, a Honda CBR650R, black a CRF300 Rally (for trails & off road) red, a Honda CL500 scrambler (easy off roading) blue and a Honda Hornet 500 in white (still running it in) I have a good spread of bikes for how my mood sets me and do about 20-24k miles pa. So I use them 👍 thanks for asking, good luck with your travels 🙂

@@grays5112 Wow! What a selection of bikes. You must have a double garage or air craft hanger 🤣 how do you rate the CRF 300 Rally? We like the idea of those for green laning..... but budget and space are the factors that are holding us back...and of course haven't got my full licence yet 😂

For a day trip this is becoming quite an expedition, I'm enjoying following your mystery tour and I'm impressed that you're doing it on a 125... If I attempted that on my YBR125 I'd be walking like John Wayne for three days afterwards. I've now added Elan village to my list of places that I need to go to.
Looking forward to the next instalment and I will be interested to hear what your total mileage is at the end! :) ATB, M

Thank you for your kind words. Glad this has inspired you to visit Elan Village. It did turn out to be quite an epic expedition, but well worth it. I did ache for a few days after the bank holiday weekend, but had to make the most of it whilst we had the time to go exploring! Currently editting the next part of the mystery tour, this next episode has some nice techincal sections as well. The total mileage for this trip was 186 miles, hope you enjoy the rest of this journey. Planning our next mystery tour/expedition.... The Peaks! Are you still riding your YBR125? Jess :-)
