- On my journey from beginner to badass biker...
After passing my CBT on October 15th 2023, I have decided it's time to start practising and working towards my 'Big Bike' licence. Riding my Zontes ZT 125cc U1 affectionately nicknamed Singer (as it sounds like a sewing machine). My partner is riding his new BMW GS 1250 Rallye.
Join us on our ride out to Knowle to pick up Bo's phone cradle, then onto Hinkley to Triumph Motorcycle Factory for a bite to eat and a walk around the exhibition. On route joggers, cyclists and fellow motorcyclists enjoying the dry weather.
I will be completing my Module 1 (and 2) training with professional Motorcycle training school - Redditch Motorcycle Training (rmt.net.co.uk), so stay tuned for my journey from beginner to badass biker =)

Well done on making the journey. It was way back in 2011 when my partner Carol was learning to ride. It's led to some great joint rides both here and abroad.
That bike in the museum was the actual bike ridden by Steve McQueen as I know it's owner Dick Shepherd. Dick owns many of the bikes in the museum and is a great guy.

Scotland is absolutely amazing if the weather is with you.
Last summer we rode around Mont Blanc France, Switzerland and Italy
We love riding in Spain
And in the winter if funds allow we ride in the Canary Islands
All of this is possible because both of us ride. Honestly it will be one of the best decisions getting your full licence. Then just practice practice practice.
Second Wednesday of every month is bike night at the Triumph factory.

I work in the design offices at the back. The McQueen bike is real. It's insured for £1.5M
Yeah it was a long day but worth it. An awesome place to work. Wow! That is some insurance policy lol
Wish someone would dress up as me for my mod 2 🤣 ive failed twice and the third was cancelled due to bad weather
