I have watched a lot of beading videos. This is sooo good! The interaction (Q&A) between Cynthia and Wyatt is very informative. I really like to see the work up close. I also like that several tools are demonstrated with the pros and cons of each. Also good to see different stringing materials used and compared.
Hi! Our designers have used anything from size No. 3 all the way up to No. 7 for gemstones. Size No. 6 is a great in-between to start with. Take a look at this necklace made by Candie Cooper, which features gemstones and Swarovski beads: www.artbeads.com/design-studio/ocean-sky-knotted-beads-and-chain-multi-strand-necklace/ She used No. 5 cord for this project. I hope this helps!

Knotting episode? like a seed beading episode? That was funny!
Hi! How can I use this tool to tie the closing knot of a bracelet? Thanks
This was incredibly helpful. I own both knotters and he's right, the knot-a-bead is slower; unfortunately I'm not fast with either tool yet. Lol
What size silk or other threading material would you recommend for knotting gemstone beads? Also for Swarovski 6 or 8mm round beads? Thanks!
