- Donald Milokanovic surprised us on the last edition of Buzet Hillclimb at the wheel of this manic GSX-R1000 swapped FIAT 600/Zastava 750 Abarth replica. Producing 200Hp at an outrageous 14.000Rpm, the lightweight rear engined, rea wheel drive little Monster was one of the better driven machines in the event.
Adding to that a quite stiff set-up. it was quite common seeing this diminutive racer lifting one or even two wheels on each corner it attacked. And in the end, achieving victory in the class it part of, only made it all the more impressive.
Always makes me smile.Wonderful car control,engine bouncing off the rev limiter at 14000 rpm and airborne off all 4 wheels on occasion.

In classic Fiat Abarth style, the engine is too big for the compartment, so the rear hatch is left open for both cooling and downforce. This is also one of the few motorcycle engines that doesn't sound overworked in a car.
Zastava was made bigger and a little bit more powerfull verison of fiat 500 which was named Zastava 750(this car) which acctualy had a trunk/engine hood which was fully closing.They had engine of 750ccm and was fitting in just a perfect. When Abarth decided to add 1000ccm engine,they had size problems so they made "hood" a desk just to cover it :)
Zastava 750 was Fiat 600 copy. Abarth 1000 engine was made from Fiat Tipo 100 engine (but only 1957-1960 models) so there was no size problems. First Abarth 1000 had engine bay door opened, later it was swapped with fiberglass.

@Ratko Pocuca Abarth 1000 (982 ccm) engine was made from Fiat 600 engine in late 50's and was in production until 1974 (Autobianchi A112 Abarth). In Fiat 600, Abarth version, until 1972. Last one version had fuel injection and 123 hp!
Considering the motorcycle engine is a hell of a lot more powerful than the original

Always loved the Fiat Abarth Berlina Corsa. The only car of a similar class able to take it to a Mini Cooper S. The GSX-R engine only makes it better.

yess.is common when the traction is back,a torque in all the car generate the front tires lift.

Agreed but this is really fast too and hard to drive on normal road anyday maybe if they make street version 180Hp and 700Kg:)
@@joe125ful Zastava was made 750(fica) which is bigger and more powerfull version of Abarth 500. Engine was 750cm and had 25-30hp(while fiat 509 had 22 and Abarth 500 had 44).And than Aarth decided to have a little touch on Zastava's Fica and added 1000ccm engine shich was producing ~100hp directly on back axle. @@hillclimbracingfan5821 izgleda trz. uljara od GSX-R ali FICO je strava, hvata me zelja da opet sjednem u Ficeka da se prisjetim starih dobrih vremena, izmes nove BMW,Audi .....(osim moje dobra stare GSX-R Suze) ni jedan novi nece izdrzati i prezivjeti toliko i jos vise, kao Figi .....samo naprijed Milokanovicu

en mi pais le decimos fitito al 600, creo que es el unico vehiculo que argentina le escapo al equipo gnc, la vida de un fitito se mide en vueltas ala tierra y este puede dar 120 vuelta ala tierra

Jebeno, majstorski složeno i odvoženo, samo kak i na koju getribu i diferencijal je pripasano, i kak na poluosovine i jel ima šperu jer čujem na izlasku iz zavoja ko da zavrti unutarnji kotač?
Mjenjac je orginal od motora. Motor je postavljen popreko i onda sa zupcanika ide kardan na diff od auta(neznam kojeg on koristi ali vecinom koriste od BMW-a). On ima speru od Racing Diffs iz srbije.
