Yall do kno lakers last year held Jokic to a 59ts%? Jokic was a 70 ts% last year, obv that’s not sustainable for playoffs but lakers don’t get a lot of credit for doing that.

@@MarzTalksSports Against suns he had a 66ts (nobody talks about that series, no defenders cool) , 67 ts% against Miami( against spo defense, boring finals cool) , and 57% vs twolves(one game he shot 8-29 outlier asf, cool he destroyed them too). Against the lakers 59ts%( they swept them, but that was one of his worse scoring series in 23’, it gets gassed way more than the others and it’s not close, he destroyed them as well on the boards and his passing that and Murray was the difference maker)😂that’s my whole thing

Secondly, that last debate with Ticket/Swipa before Ticket left was great because I am on both sides, even though I stopped expecting things from AD because I guess I am just expecting things from him that he just can't do. Nonetheless, that was a great debate.
We need to stop using box + - altogether, not just single game. It's not an individual stat whatsoever, the only thing you can do use it for is comparing players that are all on the same team.

@@averyb.476 He wasn't saying AD is a better player, he was saying AD is actually capable of a lot more, and shows it when Bron is out. Lots of players have locked potential, that shouldn't be that crazy to say. Swipa was saying Jokic intellect is just so much better and AD and others aren't capable of reading the game like him and so there's no way they can ever be better than him. Basically that Jokic mental ability should be treated like a hard limit in the way that athleticism is.
They were both pushing agendas, Ticket's was anti-Lebron, we know what Swipa's was.

If AD is supposed to be able to do what Jokic can do then every 6’9 player with handling ability should be able to do what magic Johnson does. Being one of the best passers and highest bball iqs of all time isn’t something that should be expected of players. The players who have that ability are gifted, not everyone can be like them.
