Andrew Wells from Eidola actually filled in for DGD on a tour at one point. The two bands are friends, just saw them last weekend with Polyphia and Veil of Maya phenomenal show Also Tillian has done a song with Andrew Wells on his solo stuff, I think

Been a fan since Degeneraterra album because tThe Great Glass Elephant sounded to me like they were still finding their identity back then. I also personally prefer this band over DGD except when the mood calls for some serious Tilian vibes. From Degeneraterra onwards were straight 🔥🔥🔥 Plus Andrew once responded to my DM on ig my balls melted. I love them so much I can't even call 'no homo' on that comment.

I’m so much happier that Tilian is coming back, only because it’s more likely we get new Eidola sooner. I’m way more into these guys than DGD these days.
How come the guitar tone and mixing is so damn good? I feel like I can follow the changes pretty well on the first listen and it definitely sounds like a pretty big mix (lots of tracks). This song kicks ass
This album has been saving me from the despair I have felt while going through a divorce. I don't know what I would do without albums like this to relate to. Such strong, raw lyrics.
Afterburner was my AoTY for 2020 in a walk. The Architect is AoTY for me this year in a walk, now. So much variety but uniformity in distinctly being Eidola. The fact they have this and Hidden Worship across one album and it feels completely natural. So good! SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD!
i discovered Eidola back in Feb when Spotify's Discover Weekly showed me Omni: First Temple from Degeneraterra and I was immediately hooked. New favorite (new-ish) band. Seriously can't wait!
Everything about this band, the rifts, the drummers energy, the vocals, the feature, the lyrics. Absolutely legendary! Instant classics so far! This is very exciting!
