AC in 1984 and 42 day EBC trek in 1985... I must be old and wrinkled (9 more Nepal treks, 11 months total since then, 5 times in Khumbu)... When going up go via Namche - Mong La - Phortse - Pangpoche, not just hike both up and down through Tengboche like 98% uninformed masses do. Only come down via the monastery. Idiotic to hike the same low trail twice.
