Hi!! Great question, I honestly never tired it before like that. I only used it for glitter and metallic shades but I'm sure it would be great just as a regular eyeshadow primer because it is so tacky and the eyeshadow will probably last all day I would just make sure you set it so it doesn't crease the shades ! :)
