It’s amazing, when we sit there and lose more than we win, no one says anything but when you hit something moderately large, the boys upstairs have to scrutinize your win. Comparing Trips to the mandatory Blind side bet:
20 hands played
4 units lost on the blind.
13 units pushed on the blind.
48¹/² units won on the blind
Net profit of 48¹/² units on Blind
This session even though the Trips paid on 7 wins and the blind only paid on 3 wins, the blind pushed 13 times which IMO makes up for the trips paying out on three of a kind and higher odds paid on the lower bonus hands.
However whenever you are running hot, you should increase your trips wager.
For those of you who wonder why I am doing this.
I am tracking the blind compared to the trips bed to see if it's worth playing the voluntary trips side bet compared to the mandatory Blind side bet

Great session for you sir but, you kill me with the $5 trip bet. That's the second time I've seen you hit a straight flush with only 5 up there but, that's probably why that happens. Folks always hit big that bets less or not at all.
It's a bad bet. The more you play on it, the more you lose.
