I rode the Steel Eel yesterday when I went to SeaWorld. It was so much fun and that’s coming from a kid who hates roller coasters. It feels like your flying. Edit: rode Wave Breaker yesterday and it was AMAZING! I feel like it’s leaned towards older kids and tweens which as a tween myself I was happy about that. Edit for anyone who sees this: I’ve ridden another roller coasters at SeaWorld! I’ve ridden Texas Stingray! Thank you to anyone who has said in their head that they are proud of me and I can’t wait to see how far my roller coaster journey goes
@@helpme.ivebeenkidnapped8845 me and my cousin make each other laugh to where one of us blacks out but then we laugh so hard the other person blacks out
@Trailblazer5 as someone who rode the Steel Eel yesterday I can confirm that true. I’m 12, I was dragged on it by my dad. I cussed a lot on it because it was so much fun
yea steel eel was just sad. usually after the break run mid ride, the train goes down the curlving part of the ride so forcefully, and i loved that feeling. I thought maybe it slowed due to old age, but the Weather is probably a Big factor in the slowness of it.
So I use to be scared out of mind of roller coaster but theres no true way to avoid the feeling(I dont like it either) but what helped get on more and more rides is slowly getting on some here and there. For SeaWorld the best place to start is probably to go on the Wave Breaker then do Atlantis(although you will get the feeling, just go with someone and suck it up but it will be fun afterwards). Next you could do the stringray, then the great white and the steel eel(if you want to avoid the feeling DONT go on the steel eel cause you will absolutely die lol) just whenever you feel comfortable with moving on to each ride is up to you and us better if you go at your own pace
Aah the good old Airtime I hate as well which is why I recommend middle rows because you will get less of that feeling in the middle.I also hate airtime which is why I think about steel eel
hii so i hate airtime here too! that sickening feeling in your stomach just makes me wanna die. lol i’ve realized that scrunching your body up and bracing the falls make you feel a ton worse, embracing the falls, slowly learning to lift your hands, and screaming sort of calms (?) that tension and allow your body to better enjoy that feeling (this is just coming from complete personal experience by the way, it’s just what i’ve used that has really helped)
I go to SeaWorld San Antonio several times a year, and I really want to go on the Texas Stingray. I saw them building it and they hyped it up a lot, but then as soon as we planned a day to go, COVID got bad and I still haven't had a chance to go. I'm gonna try to go back around Christmas when they have all of the lights and decorations.
@@nxd9808 I would personally say no, but it depends on the individual person. I have now gone on the Texas Stingray and I will say that one would be most likely to hurt your neck due to the nature of wooden coasters. The rest are metal so they are fine.
I’ve been to SeaWorld so many times and tbh it never gets old and I’m going to say I’ve always gotten a kick out of the Texas Stingray and it’s probably the fastest one in the park speed wise
This looks like one really nice family park...I think most people could ride any of these coasters with maybe the shark-themed batman coaster being the most intense thing there.
I just went there yesterday and went on my first roller coaster (yes I'm that much of a puss to take this long to go on one but I'm 13 so give me a break) and went on the sesame street one the wave breaker and the city of Atlantis it was insane to be on one so i found this video to try and relive the moment the craziest one was definitely the wave breaker it scared the hell out of me lmao
I’ve been on all of these and here are my ratings: Sting ray: 9.5/10 it’s great but kinda hurts after riding it Great white: 8/10 fun but makes you dizzy Steel eel: 4/10 hurts like crazy and not even that scary Wave breaker: 6/10 good but I wish there was more theming

How many roller coasters are there? I live close to this amusement park but never been there! Those coasters look very fun but one I guess the stingray, The blue and yellow coaster, I thought that was gone. Glad it's still there. I plan to make it there one day as I only live an hour and a half away but I need to find out if the rides are wheelchair accessible. This park just needs new coasters in general.

modern woodies are just so satisfying for some reason
Texas stingray was my favorite. What made it more it so fun, was how fast it went and also it being made of wood just made it so intense .
