Good aircraft takes years unless you wan't to fly the Captain Sim 777 lol. PMDG 737 BBJ is already in the sim to do semi long hauls up to 10 hours.

Decent aircraft take time to build and push out mate. Patience is key :)
These aircraft are extremely time consuming. Plus, the payware companies do this for a living and have a full team to finish these aircraft. The freeware teams are usually much smaller and most of them have a day job that tends to get in the way.

I would love to see more "blast of the past" planes in the future! A high fidelity Lockheed Tristar would be a great addition to the DC-10, but I doubt it will be developed any time soon. Great video!

For the A350, they could make the shorter -900 variant as it's more popular and used by airlines. I think what they could do is that they just copy the cockpit of the -1000 and put it to the -900 variant (they are the same planes) The landing gear would have to modelled as the -900 has the same landing gear amount as the 787-10/787-8. The -900 is a plane I would buy as i've flown it on Finnair.

love how HD and Salty improved the 78X and the 748 but hopefully they fix the LNAV accuracy. it can't even maintain a straight line while on LNAV + AP

They should work more on turbo props like the dash 8 200 300 and 400 series ATR too

We are gonna wait a long time. The development team hasn’t given a video in 8 month and it’s been already a year and a half since they started. We could at least perhaps get it in summer 2024 but not sure at all.

The fly by wire a320 is a really nice plane, unfortunately I havent spent any real time in it since I bought the fenix a320 same week I bought the sim. Nothing to date matches the fenix, at least for airliners. The Kodiak 100 is pretty awesome too.

This is cool, but as someone who was looking for freeware, I was dissappointed how many of these weren't released, or need the upgraded msfs to fly.
Me and my team are currently developing a boeing 787-9 for x plane and msfs, we are still in modelling phase though.
When will it launch?excited for it.

The a220 won’t be free btw. The team said that at this level of detail it won’t.

The only problem with the 787-8 is that you only climb at 600 fpm once you reach 25000 so it’s a super slow climber but I’m sure it’s realistic since I’ve never been on a 787 irl

I hate only one thing in MFS 2020, the thing is suspension. Suspension is one of many thing that are realy realistic. I wish it could be here with realistic quality.

Airline 6,7 and A32X is the best imo and the 787
they should make it so you can buy different default planes from different packages
I do like your channel and I am a subscriber but from what I've watched and in this video, your early description of the type of aircraft you prefer and the fact that you set up the aircraft in cruise and then maybe go out for a run or having a meal, I get the idea that you're not actually into flying, as such. You're more into the flight planning, weight and balancing aspects of the sim! Only slightly more 'fun' than driving a train! When I first got into flight simming - apart from the Airbus A320 on the Amiga 500+, with FS94, I did most of my flying in the 737-400 and 747-400 but when FSX was released I got into flying the Baron 58 and realised just how boring flying the alumnimium tubes was. Since then I've flown nothing but GA.
However, that having been said, I am looking to see how the upcoming F28 turns out.
I've been waiting to reply to this comment for a while Ray, but unfortunately, has some other commitments I needed to get to. I feel like you're mistaken in your assessment of my love for flying. I absolutely LOVE flying all manner of aircraft. Sure I prefer airliners, but there's a reason for that. Unlike many others in the community, I happen to be a full-time university student, who also has a day job, several real life commitments as well as this TH-cam channel. As such, I don't get enough time to really do stick and rudder flying, and instead, need to allocate limited time to my hobby. One day however, I hope to be able to get to a point where I can sit down and complete an hour long GA flight or bush trip. I do love the stick and rudder feel, but airliners have always excited me because of the responsibility and personal experiences I've had with them in the past. Hope the context about my personal situation helps :)
@@FlyBySimulations Thanks for the feedback. I see where you're coming from, now. One advantage I have over you is that I'm retired so obviously have more time in hand, which helps. In the end, I don't suppose it makes any real difference anyway. While you're up at FL350 I'm hedge-hopping but we're both enjoying it. Maybe the situation will be reversed a little when the F28 becomes available! Just so long as we keep the shiny side up it doesn't really matter. Clear skies!

I somehow got the a32nx to work on console edition. It's because I play on PC but I bought the game on the xbox app. But couldn't get other planes to work

it's sad all the 787 mods rely on owning the premium deluxe edition for now. It bars a lot of people from using them (me included) and sadly Microsoft is not thinking about making the deluxe upgrade reasonable price-wise.
I hope a standalone Boeing mod will be coming soon.

Like your video here and for the A380x Xbox players will see them being flown by PC players on their lobbies. I encountered a PC player using the A380 to do LH402 FRA-EWR instead of B747-8 while I was on the Xbox version in 2021

Let's not kid ourselves here. There is no free 787 dlc aircraft it's an upgrade dlc. And the a310 maybe free but its given by default update.

Hmm, I beg to differ considering the 777x isn't even out yet IRL. Sure, when it does release, the A350 could still be a viable competitor, but currently, the 787 and the A350 are competitors in the point to point model of aviation transport ;)

I’m still waiting for the CRJ they promised would come out on Xbox. I’m so sick of using the default 747, 787 and A320. It’s been years and we have nothing new for Xbox.
Not enough to buy the game anymore, you have to buy the limited offer, super duper, collectors edition, premium, deluxe version.
Hmm, tier-based price systems have been part of the gaming space for a while now, and since Microsoft Flight Simulator tries to not only appeal to the hardcore simming community, but also the casual community, the pricing structure does make sense in my personal opinion. That being said though, I still feel that MSFS's base version still offers more out of the box than FSX, P3D or Xplane ever did. Not saying it doesn't have its fair share of problems, but as a package in and of itself, the price seems justified.
