Respect & Love to The Great Dr. Runoko Rashidi
We lost dozens of libraries when Dr. Rashidi passed away. At least he passed away in Kemit and hopefully existing among our ancestors.
We are screening his film Global Assignment about his Life and Times.
BEAUTIFUL 😍❤️ SISTA'S OF HUE
I wanna go n stay
My race is not African, we are not Africans of the pacific we are MELENESIAN
Where do you think they came from lol . Where do yiu think you got your afros from ........
@@ruggedtechie5867 🤣🤣🤣. Most Melanesains ancestors came from Taiwan. Search it up, it’s called the Austronesian expansion. We are Austronesian, in fact you can also search up how close we are to you and find out that we are actually one of the least related peoples to you. Our ancestors came from Taiwan
@@ramsesrhodes6241Hell no we didnt those are the asians and polynesian dna. Melanesian Mighrated straight outta africa through south asia and southeast asia. We are linked to Africans, Aboriginals of Australia and Melanesia.
@@ramsesrhodes6241The claim is that “Austronesian” language came from there. However it is disputed as to whether all of the Indigenous people in Oceania that speak an “Austronesian” language come from there. I personally don’t think that Taiwan is the origin of said people. I have also talked to people from various groups and nobody said that they have origins there. My ancestors also never said that we originated there either…
However it is to be noted that the Indigenous people of Taiwan were what we consider “Black” (“Negritos”) people, followed by another group and more recently the Han Chinese, who comprise nearly 100% of the population.
Instead of arguing to originate outside of your region why not just say that Melanesians are Pasifika people and Indigenous people of Oceania?
@@VenaBulimaibauNaitoga I question that theory about Taiwan. It doesn’t make sense. Maybe I can agree with the language originating from there, but the people look so different.
**(just want to let ignorant people know that I am very much well aware that the Indigenous peoples of Taiwan are not Han Chinese I have known this for many years…) However, the people that inhabit those regions that they claim my Pasifika ancestors came from look NOTHING like them. In the same tropical environment they wouldn’t change so dramatically in such a short amount of time. (Based on their time frame and theory)
TBH there is no “Polynesian DNA.” “Polynesian” which means many islands in Greek is just a term created by a Frenchman. (In certain locations where most of the population was wiped out and admixed that probably would be difficult to determine anyways). If anything it’s just a description of an Indigenous people that practice a certain culture that speak a particular language in a specific geographic region (Oceania). I have talked to other people such as Maori, Rarotongan, Tongan, Samoan etc. and none of them said their ancestors originated from there (they don’t any cultural stories of migration), mines did not.
