My deepest appreciation to this survivor for her strength, courage, intelligence, and humanity through all she has experienced. I will never forget her advice.
I am speechless and tears are running down my face. This was the most amazing testimony I have heard yet and I have heard so many and they're all so meaningful. She gave such an insight into day-to-day life. I love her. I envy her children having such a mother. I loved the interviewer as well. I believe he is the best interviewer I've heard yet he didn't as he didn't interrupt her and kept her line of thinking he's the best. He totally removed himself from the interview except as needed. Thank you for this.
This is astounding! She very exceptional! Remembers all the intimate details! Makes you feel you are seeing what is thru her eyes! You dear sole!Res in Peace!
What an incredible woman. How she survived is a miracle. You can see the pain is still with her, every moment. Thank you for your testimony and God bless.
What an amazing woman, with a heartbreaking testimony. Her father was a faithful and wonderful man. I honestly cannot believe that anyone survived the Holocaust. This is also a testimony of the strength, will, beauty & faith, of the human race. She gives a very clear description of what life was like. Unbelievable.
Great interview from a very candid lady. As with all these stories, she suffered greatly. A reminder of how evil man left to their own devices can be. Sadly, many of the perpetrators escaped judgment.
This is the Most detailed version and she made you feel as if you were beside her seeing what she seen just not being tortured as she had been. She has every ounce of My Respect in life and Death! God Bless You Regina and All Your Family, You are Amazing and still that young girl that was trying her best to survive. Godspeed to you and your Family!
This interview is by far the most revealing of day to day life of one woman who survived an horrific period of enslavement and degrading, unspeakable inhuman treatment eloquently told WITH DATES. No wonder it went on for such a long time as she revealed almost daily occurrences of incredible survival. I am indebted to the interviewer and those who arranged this amazing programme
I thought Helen Colin's Testimony was really informative. I cried so many times through it. Pamela Lane did the interview and she was excellent. Never interrupted and you could feel her compassion in her voice. You may have watched it already. I think over 800,000 views.
she appears tp be 83/ 85?extremely coherent .perfect diction, memory. slower speech, trama . memories are encoded in the brain, the reason for details.... is the same as ptsd. emotion shock. ptsd she passed 2018 in florida at 95
How proud you must be to come from her. Much love to you and your whole family from a viewer who is grateful to have heard her story and so happy God had a plan for her here on earth and that she had a beautiful family of her own.
What a wonderful, strong lady. She told her story so well, couldn't stop listening. When you think you have something to complain about, think of this lady. Blessings to her and her family. Sad that her husband passed away so young as well.
Amazing interview. I’ve watched many of these interviews and she has incredible recall that must have been so difficult for her. This can happen again which is why we need to be diligent in our fight against hate
Maybe the toughest human I have heard of in my life. Her Mental and Physical courage and toughest surpasses the most elite military units! Amazing woman who should never have been forced to suffer so much! God Bless her!
Regina Horowitz passed away on the 8th of May, 2018, three months before her 95th birthday in New City, New York in the United States of America. 13th of August, 1923 - 8th of May, 2018
Adding to the depth of her May 8th passing is that Regina Horowitz said that this same day had been the date of her freedom arriving at last, as a young woman who had been forced to endure those torture and extermination prisons and faced so much loss, a captive to what feels to be unfathomable, incomprehensible inhumanity. She has such dignity, nobility of spirit. Her children have been blessed to know her and to have had her as their mama. Remarkable. Stunning. Deep. Unforgettable. Thank all of you who make this happen.
Thank you Regina. I think you could have been in camp with another survivor - (search the story of ) Lola Putt. You share the same timelines and experiences in your stories. Lola was a Greek Jew and was in the same camp as you. I listen to these stories as a reminder of our duty to stand up against injustice, racism and bigotry.
I pray that if anything should happen in my life, such as they went through, I pray that I may have the courage and strength these women had. One cannot even begin to know their difficulties they endured day after day, year after year. God Bless us all.
I love this brave woman. She has righteous anger and I as far as I am able to understand, I so appreciate it. These videos piss me off in a way I can not explain. I feel anger and great resentment toward the German ppl of this time. I must say, I watched a documentary a few years ago, it was about todays German high school students and their knowledge of the holocaust. I was livid after watching, the kids in Germany today are ignorant. The German ppl won’t talk about it. That angers me to no end.
They don't want to hear it puts them as if they were the ones. They like to forget about it, many tourists n kids of vitims go so germans don't want to touch thzt subject.
The most terrifying Holocaust story that I've listened to!! I don't know how this poor lady has survived!! Very heartbreaking what she had to endure!!😥😥 I hope that the criminal nazis are burning in Hell for eternity!!
At 1.50.00 talking about Hungarian evil Block alteste woman - die she survive asking. But never asking what was her name, which town - city she was from - if known. They talked abot her like 10 minutes before. Would be interesting to know who thet extreme evil one was and what happened before to her and after to ...
The interviewer is sympathetic but often does not follow through with what she says but goes on to ask an unrelated question. It is as if he is not interested in what she is saying when this happens.
Wonderful Poland. Wonderful Ukraine. Will they give back lives? Will they give back property? Not holding my breath. Still I could sometimes, in reciprocity, get a frisson about how Wonderful Europe is changing these days. Being forced to change.
lovely lady and considerate interviewer who let her speak without constant interruption

Wow what a story. How can people be so cruel? Innocent children. Just awful. This is one if the best interviews. What a phenomenal woman
The survivors are extraordinary people. I think the whole world should remember the lessons here.

Heartbreaking.

Invaluable testimony especially about how fascists operate. She’s a jewel of a human being.
