You know what’s neat? Every song has the “I’m only getting started” Soundbite hidden in them. There are actually a bunch of really quiet sound hidden in and between each song. Shows how much effort was put into the album, given these are details most people would not realize.
Not *every* song, but I did sprinkle it in a lot. I was hoping one of the streamers reacting would catch on to it when there's the acapella drop at the last chorus of Evacout, but it seems most people missed it 😅
@@DJCosmicLatte honestly fair, they're a mob from minecraft and the exact sound effect is used in sexy desires (i did try and find a video with the sound but they have like 40 different sound variations so i cba). admitedly it is very quiet but was just loud enough to confuse me throughly while i was simulatenously playing minecraft and listening to this music. i am very aware i have no life lol. great songs though

nobody here is talking about Glass, but it manages to perfectly encapsulate that feeling 6 months after a harsh breakup when you're like "what if it never happened?" and you just go into that state of regret and subdued self-loathing. in a way, the slight detuned nature of Gotye's voice actually ADDS to this, and creates a perfect contrast between the clean, smooth Miley vocals and the more raw, emotional Gotye ones. highkey waiting for this on soundcloud
The notes aren't even that flat, his tone is just strained and there's nothing I could do about that lol. I thought it lent well to the raw acoustic kind of vibe of the track as a whole though, glad you appreciate that!
I've since learned that Gotye intentionally sang in microtones, so it actually *is* a hair sharp in places, but the acoustic vibe of the instrumental just makes it sound more raw and emotional for it imo
They way you sort of electronified that, "I'm only getting started," in the last track gives it such a Daft Punk sound. Could see that being the opening line for a mashup with some Daft Punk theming.
As a MUSE lover myself, i was entirely thrown off when SexyDesires came on, and i am not disappointed in the slightest. the whole set of songs has been amazing and awful and im 100% here for it.

Any song combining WAP, PBJ Time, Numa Numa, and Crank That _should_ either be bad or _ironically_ good. But _somehow,_ against all odds, you made SBPT unironically amazing. I don't know how you did it, but you did. And I LOVE Evacout. Genuinely amazing. Been listening to it for twenty minutes straight. I can't stop listening to it, and I'm only getting started. Awesome work as always! (Also, if you have a sourcelist for the album, I'd love to see a copy! There are a lot of songs I know I should recognize, but my knowledge of pop culture is nearly nonexistent.)
Oh, also, since I saw you mention wanting to release single videos - if you want, I can use yt-dlp to download this and split the video by chapter, and then give you a GDrive link to them. That'd save you some time at least. Also, I'm not sure if you wanted to use different images for each upload - I could easily change each video to have a static image (without messing with the audio). Just offering since I love this so much. I don't have any money to give (wish I did), but I have some time at least!

Save your circles is the funniest thing to me, because almost a year ago now I made two mashups with the same instrumental (epilogue by creo for any lurking gd players): one with the vocals of save your tears and one with the vocals of circles. dunno why i never thought to combine them but now i don't have to lmfao i'm only up to like halfway thru save your circles while writing this, great stuff so far
Absolutely masterful work, dude! I absolutely loved watching the creation process as well as the charting. You've completely outdone yourself yet again. Quality only goes up with you!
Honestly I think the problem that Acai had with Glass requires only one thing to fix it: Gotye's voice is too loud during the choruses. If you turn him down, I guarantee it sounds better. Even if he's not singing in the same key as the instrumental, it's not that big of a deal as long as it's not so loud. This entire album is great, I think SexyDesires is the standout for me personally.

these songs are all so incredibly good at maintaining a balance between memery that evokes strong emotions (disbelief, outrage, bliss) and actually legitimately good bops. like normally i can listen to a mashup, love it or hate it or both, send it to my friends to deal some quick psychic damage, and move on but this is the third time i'm listening to this album (twice on acai's channel fwiw) and i just looked on Spotify to see if i could put SBPT on my workout playlist anyway thanks for the great album! 💚

The album is awesome and all, but this cover art is amazing and triggering. The font for "stupid" being in what looks like comic sans and the horse head attached to two legs made me laugh way too hard when I saw them.

I was there for the live Acai Reaction and I have a lot of thoughts about this album. This album's title absolutely hits the nail on the head with these tracks. It's cursed as fuck and brilliant and I wouldn't want it any other way. Save Your Circles, Easy Like a Tiger, Mating Ritual, and Evacout are my favorite tracks (Evacout being my absolute favorite and an absolute banger). I would go as far as to say some of the tracks sound like they came from an alternate reality. Personal nitpicks I have are SexyDesires felt like a weaker cut on this but not to say that I didn't understand why they were put together but, for me at least, they didn't hit and for SBPT, I only liked it when it was the rap battle portion but hey they all can't be winners. As for Glass, I think it worked better than how Acai saw it. However I think it might work better if someone did a vocal cover of it for a more natural sounding chorus. Someone needs to do that. Overall my enjoyment outweighs my gripes, so much so in fact that I would buy this on CD if it were to exist. But for now I will be adding it to my iTunes Library and jamming out to it wherever I go. This is some top notch stuff.

Have you considered turning the trailer track into a full song? It's the hardest intro I've ever heard but it just cuts off and I wish it was longer
