- To celebrate the opening of The Rise of the Planet of the Apes in Britain tomorrow, I thought it would be fun to show you how to draw an ape man type ape from the movie. This is my impression from the various pictures I've seen of the movie. Hope it helps you in your quest to find your inner ape!
Drawn on white cartridge or bristol paper, with a Derwent Graphic 8B pencil.

That was AWESOME! What a completely different feel this has from your other drawing tutorials. How fun to draw this, and I think doing it a few times creating the whole troop would be cool too.
