5:30 that’s something I notice a lot in the lower ranks is people being scared to make a play and giving the enemy enough time to make one on you. Something that got me out of silver was just being super aggressive. If I know someone is holding a doorway and I have to kill them I’ll wide swing and prefire rather than sit there and wait for him to get impatient so that he peeks me.
I really try to pay attention to how pros approach fights more than how they set up. Something I know I don’t do enough is prefire common areas when I’m not sure if someone is there. I notice beaulo does it all the time. He gets a kill and instantly prefires another angle just in case he’s being run up on. Attacking has always been where I struggle the most so I have really been trying to work on my gunfights. Tactics can come later once I’m good on my mechanics. They should be a tool to make the game easier rather than a crutch. Most people learn setups and once they’re ruined can’t do anything.
Once I really started learning Echo, I learned pretty quick not to put shields in doorframes. Otherwise it blocks his Yokai!
If I HAVE to set it up at a door, I put them about a foot back. It still won't let attackers through without a vault, but it doesn't quite hurt your team as much!

I do not mind the one shot headshot mechanic I think the hit box should be a tiny bit smaller to be accurate with real life. Because, as you know you hear stories of people getting shot in the head and there’s still alive I mean very injured, but still alive. another cases peoples mouths gets blown off, but they’re not dead. So definitely the one shot headshot mechanic should stay around. It just needs to be a smaller hit box.
I see the shields in the doors....sometimes i watch them die...sometimes i bring impacts

you know the rank system is broken when you have a teammate who hit champ that places their shield on the door and is not using frosts secondary shotgun. i wish more people (mainly my random teammates) actually see these types of videos and learn

i use geforce now on a pc that’s 200 dollars with a 2012 graphics card and i’m gold 4 with a 1.8 kd and it’s my second season on pc is that good?
I have to say tho its crazy to see a bit more insight here. We play 5 stack somethimes but we all play like your mates on bank. 3 people Somethimes 4 on site and 1 or 2 roamers. If they die all site anchora stay on site and peek the doors and wait till they push. Tahts how we learned it. We dont even know what the best strat is. Because i would say staying on site is safe. Pushing the enemie while they should push us is very risky and most of the time leads to our death
The sheild in the hallway is way worse because you vault over to take control and your so exposed
