Richard and Judy return to This Morning - 2nd september 2010

- Eamonn Holmes is late in so Richard stands in and presents the opening segment of the show with Ruth! Just like the old days...while Judy watches on the sofa. Then Eamonn turns up and Richard tells him to go away

Good to see Richard and Judy. They look well. Richard is a real pro at presenting, as if he was never away. Wished he wore a suit and with opened neck white shirt. Still gorgeous though.

Wow, that's even stranger to watch than when they did the intro for the birthday show. I'm a little bit suspicious about Eamonn being late. I'm thinking his taxi driver may have been slipped a tenner to take a busy route.
I'm also suspicious about the fact that R&J are turning up quite a bit these days. I wonder whether This Morning aren't trying to get them comfy on the couch to tempt them back on a casual semi-permanent basis? After all, they've got Coleen Nolan back on, so I hear.
I'm quite suspicious of that too, as I thought Eamonn and Ruth would be travelling from the sam house to get there, being husband and wife and all. But it turns out that as this was not their normal Friday show (Eamonn's day-off from Sunrise) but on a Wednesday, presumably due to the anniversary (which I thought was actually 3rd not 2nd but anywho) then it was a very rare case of Eamonn having to travel from the Sunrise studio to the This Morning one, so maybe this is why it happened.
Which flavor tonight Judes? Red, White, Rose? (F*** it I'll take all three!!!)
Judy said "No I am done with doing tv"..in every interview - how can you think she would go back?..and it her reasons aren't down to the failed watch show
@97channel Well they've made it clear they never want to do daily tv again so I doubt it very much
True, but if it was a week or two's holiday cover or a relaunched weekend edition or something they might do it. In any case I think they said that as a result of there failed show on Watch, so they might change there minds if the audience reception and fee was right.
@spikeyroberto Yeah, I'm thinking more in terms of a loose presenting role. Pre recorded items, or something like that. The kind of thing which demands very little of them, yet enables This Morning to overly boast having them on board. I doubt that R&J are looking in that direction, but I suspect that the shows bosses would have at least contemplated what benefits their involvement would reap.
Ah forget that, this isn't the 25th anniversary show is it, so ignore me completely.
wish eamonn and ruth did the show full time..holly and phill just get on my nerves a bit..the laughing is too forced.
spinout3 yes, I use to like Phillip but he is trying to be piers Morgan to please the producers. Bring back fern, but eamon and Ruth are great.
