Great interview! I miss Coach Martins stories. So entertaining. Wishing you great success at UMass. Can’t wait for that book to come out. I want an advance copy!
I still laugh about that conversation with Brad and you at Norman after the game.

Being deployed, I missed out on many memories of the 2009-10 season. A great interview. I hope for much more success @ UMass for you Coach Martin. I always tried to catch some SC games on TV while you were there. I'm old enough that my greatest memory was watching K-State knock off #1, Gene Keady's Purdue team in the Sweet 16 in 1988. And we had to play KU in the Elite 8. I was bummed about that. I'll admit honestly that KU vs Oklahoma first half tied 50-50 in the NCAA Final in 1988 was one of the best halves in basketball historically for me.

Watching this show just makes me realize all that I missed out on while I wasn’t paying enough attention to K-State men’s basketball. Great job with this show, guys and Coach.

I remember meeting Frank Martin in the Panera Bread @ Crown Center just before the evening session of the Big XII tourney in KC. Thanked him & his team for all their hard work & efforts as a K-State alum. He could not have been nicer, more gracious & kind. Totally opposite of what we’d see on the court during games. I just wish he’d had a chance to coach the ‘Cats a little bit longer. GO STATE! 🟪

Epic guests these past few interviews esp for people like me who were drawn into KState hoops around the 05-07 era growing up. Always loved how the KState teams took on the tough mentality this man coaches with during his time. He was at KState during the golden era of college hoops and helped usher in a Big 12 title team in 2012 so I’ll forever be grateful for Coach Martin 🙏🏿!

Frank was an awesome coach and did great things at Kstate! But I think he would be first to say, he needed to leave at that point in time! He was on the verge of losing his best players due to his uncontrollable temper and foul language! I heard him speak several years later that he regretted letting his coaching/temperment get so far out of control! He is such a different man now! I respect him and enjoy following his teams!
