Thanks for this. I maxed the second and third stage first try but after getting blues my first go on the first stage I held off until you posted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Lol nope just RNG design! 🙃 Took me two more runs but got it clean.
On Common 1, I got six blue bastards on the first try. It takes some luck to get that unlucky. On Common 2, Vindicta killed the lower left Rubric marine on the first try. That meant I had to go up with Godswyl, and he got hit on T2. On the retry for Common 2, instead of Bellator, who did nothing, I got Calgar. He buffed everyone, and it worked great. Vindicta killed two Rubric marines instead of one.
Awesome result for Common 1, good thing the Quest aren't RNG-based, eh? 🤣 And for Common 2, well, you know how I run my vids, trying to get them done with the most common heroes, even if it sometimes needs a little luck. ☺ Well done beating the stage your way! 😎
Interesting about Burchard's special...I saw the low ground enemy targeted in another video and that made sense at the time to take advantage of the high ground/low ground relationship but this did not work for me personally which upset me because I do them all on my own first and then look for a vid if I can't do it or want to clean up the attempt for more fun...having to do a common 1 map 3 times when you have the roster...not great.
Yeah, the maths on Burchard's active is off for this. Not by much, but by enough. Paradoxically, if the Pinkies block, they earn another grenade making the OK more likely. 😅

Exactly the same thing happened to me on my first run, the Pinky on the wires got lowrolled.
Luckily, the next time everything worked as intended.

Yeah, the maths on Godswyl's damage versus the Pinkies just seems off to overkill them reliably.
