An absolutely gorgeous village, Nick and Jill. Love the cobblestone streets and stone buildings. We enjoyed seeing some of the homes as you were walking though the neighborhoods. While pricey maybe not outrageous in such a quaint town. We enjoyed seeing the town and loved the kayakers! Thanks for bringing us along.
And that’s the average sold price. I imagine the average price is much, much higher but nobody is selling them or putting them up for sale. it must be a charming way of life to live there. Everyone seems so friendly and very content. I think we might have even spotted Mr and Mrs Kayak on those falls at one point!

It's like a walk in the past, well if you ignore the cars. Then again All Creature Great and Small is a blast from the past, well if you ignore the remake. Some lovely cobbled streets and old buildings. Good to see the traditional old pub still going strong here as well as some more traditional shops. The falls looked worth a visit and the nice added extra with the kayakers. Enjoyed the tour 👍
What a beautiful tour of Grassington Nick and Jill. Not somewhere we've visited before but certainly somewhere for our list as it is so pretty. I love that on a nice day it has lots of places to sit outside for a meal or drink. Wow that water is flowing fast, quite a challenge for the kayakers, great that you got to watch and film them!

Think the falls were the icing on the cake. really was a lovely day, enjoyed every bit of it! the time it took to film was exactly the length of time we spent in the village. about 14 minutes including grabbing that cheeky parking spot in the middle of the square! I always go as far as Pateley Bridge on my summer days out but that extra 10 miles for Grassington will have to be added this year. Would like to return and venture around those lovely shops.
Well what a fantastic village Grassington is, sooo pretty. Some great little businesses there. £385,000 ooooh wish I had that sort of money I would definately live there. Man’s best friend 🐶
Id love to live thee too although I imagine parking and getting from A to B would get annoying very quickly! Scrumpy would love that countryside though! 👍

Hi Nick and Jill we were excited when we saw you were at Grassington because my sister used to come here for holidays and said how lovely it was. We loved the cobbles. The stripey badger looked good amongst a number of great cake shops.. What a wonderful place we love the colour of the stone.Great to see a thriving town with loads of independent shops. Would like to have a look around the rustic rabbit 🐇. The dog 🐕 outside the nisa local was brilliant sitting patiently for its owner. To top it off Linton falls were very dramatic loved the sound of the water. Did you have a go in a kayak very exciting the orange one was breathtaking. A superb video a big 👍 from us. I know! I grew up near a place called Poulton and it had lovely cobbled streets but the Council buckled after many complaints and tarmaced it over. health and safety gone mad!
Watching those kayakers gave me coronary arrest! I mean, they were going over those falls and some of them even turned upside down! It's just horrifying!😮
I wasn’t sure what I was filming at one point, had I not been approached by the Imperial College London to film for them I would have been truly horrified! one poor chap was submerged the entire way down! 😱
An amazing 4K film (I’ve yet to establish and download a 4K film to TH-cam). Although I film in 4K, TH-cam converts my superior work of art into a very basic format, shame on them! However, you’ve certainly mastered the technique and hats off to you for that. Yes I download in TH-cam high quality definition but always end up with inferior quality 😡 Anyhow’s this film of yours from Grassington was definitely high quality. I loved the brickwork of the many buildings and you would most certainly be glade of the various independent shops on the main streets. The kayaking was impressive as was this FIVE STAR FILM ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Well done Nick & Jill. ❤️
thank you Mike, yes its a setting in youtube you have to change, once changed it should let you upload in 4K although it’s always worth checking everytime you upload. click on “you”, then “settings (the cog icon)”, look for “upload quality”, in here the default setting is 1080p, change it to “full quality” and then upload. youtube will take a few hours longer to process your video but eventually it will be in 4K. did you spot the cameo by Alan Metalman?
Really beautiful. We’ve never been there so it was cool to have a look around. The Falls are brilliant. Just love the sound on full volume!! Great stuff.
I absolutely loved this village! It reminds me of the village in Disney's Beauty and the Beast 😊 I enjoyed seeing all the shops around the town. The river was beautiful, and what fun to watch those kayakers! I wonder if Mr. and Mrs Kayak would do that? 😅

Grassington looks absolutely lovely! It's actually an awesome name for a cute little village, it sounds straight out of a storybook! Or, if it was a town of people who were informers for the police, it would also be an appropriate name. Hey, that shows our cultural knowledge because they don't say "grass" here, we say more like "rat" or "snitch." Anyway, we're getting off the topic. This was a lovely tour, and now we must dine at the Corner House one day. And then we'll grass about how good it was! Oh not what I was expecting but still a great look around Grassington, a place we both love, despite only being there once before. It was so nice to meet up last week and real pleased we decided to go to Linton Falls, what a treat that was and great way to finish off the day. I have seen videos before when the water was just trickling over the rocks but we sure times it right last week, cheers Alan
That was our first fleeting visit to Grassington, you can probably tell from all the dead end alleys I kept walking down! Certainly looks like a very charming village, I can imagine it getting rammed in the summer, I was tickled to see how many people were determined to sit outside in the freezing cold! Linton Falls are amazing, a day out in themselves, im glad you mentioned them because we had never heard of them before. They were certainly very full. Andy, Yasmin and yourself get a lovely cameo at the end whilst watching the amazing kayakers! Awesome day, lots of content!
they are stunning arent they? Although I hear of some Councils tarmacking them over because they get so many complaints from people injuring themselves on them. A real shame.

Ni Nick and Jill Brilliant! This village takes me my vision of the old time UK living back in time. OMGoodness, stones and stones. The building structure is alike through the town. I wonder the same architect designed the entire area or not???? Is sidewalk filled with stones as well? You mentioned pet-friendly hotel. I wonder how comfortable the dogs walk on the stones on the ground?? haha..Unbelievable, I don't recall any graffiti in the village so far, if I am not mistaken. How charming it is!!! The water falls are absolutely elegant and its has unique character to it. No wonder many visitors are glued by it. haah Your masterpiece! the film ends at one of the most picturesque views inn the village. Well done. I truly enjoy walking with you...amazing work. nice little stroll, nick and jill! this area is quite charming, i can see why filming happens here. i love the dedicated flower boxes. smart play! no super high heels on those cobbles. good thing i don't wear heels anyway 🤣 so many cute shops. please tell me you cut filming and went in for an ice cream at brymor. ice cream every opportunity! the rush of the water, so powerful. and i am dying to get back in my kayaks, so watching them i was so filled with envy and awe. i'm not quite that adventurous. lol! have a great weekend! 🛴❤

What a super place. My parents spent many holidays in the area and my dad, yes that's right my dad, loved visiting the shoe shop in Grassington !😂Great to see around the village & experience where they used to go. I love the limestone buildings, the cobbled streets and the many small & inviting independent shops. I wonder if folks thought you were part of the film crew haha Always interesting to see these locations. No wonder house prices are so expensive with fabulous walks/falls so close too. Wow those kayakers have some nerve ... looks sooo exciting but maybe I'll just watch for now 🤣😂🤣

I was expecting a few streets and into the countryside, but it's actually a pretty big village! Beautiful as well, I like the way all the buildings are made of the same brick, the shop fronts aren't garish and the streets are cobbled. Not too much traffic either, if this was down here near London the place would be rammed! But I guess there are lots of nice little places in the Dales. Wow, great footage of the kayakers! I think if I were staying here I'd do something similar although I must admit I don't enjoy making thise kind of videos as much as the hiking/adventure ones. Watching those kayakers gave me coronary arrest! I mean, they were going over those falls and some of them even turned upside down! It's just horrifying!😮
I wasn’t sure what I was filming at one point, had I not been approached by the Imperial College London to film for them I would have been truly horrified! one poor chap was submerged the entire way down! 😱
An amazing 4K film (I’ve yet to establish and download a 4K film to TH-cam). Although I film in 4K, TH-cam converts my superior work of art into a very basic format, shame on them! However, you’ve certainly mastered the technique and hats off to you for that. Yes I download in TH-cam high quality definition but always end up with inferior quality 😡 Anyhow’s this film of yours from Grassington was definitely high quality. I loved the brickwork of the many buildings and you would most certainly be glade of the various independent shops on the main streets. The kayaking was impressive as was this FIVE STAR FILM ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Well done Nick & Jill. ❤️
thank you Mike, yes its a setting in youtube you have to change, once changed it should let you upload in 4K although it’s always worth checking everytime you upload. click on “you”, then “settings (the cog icon)”, look for “upload quality”, in here the default setting is 1080p, change it to “full quality” and then upload. youtube will take a few hours longer to process your video but eventually it will be in 4K. did you spot the cameo by Alan Metalman?

I absolutely loved this village! It reminds me of the village in Disney's Beauty and the Beast 😊 I enjoyed seeing all the shops around the town. The river was beautiful, and what fun to watch those kayakers! I wonder if Mr. and Mrs Kayak would do that? 😅

That is a really lovely village and it seems to have rules about what kind of signage is allowed as it all blends in with the heritage buildings. Interesting to watch the kayaking, not sure I'd want to do it!

Grassington looks absolutely lovely! It's actually an awesome name for a cute little village, it sounds straight out of a storybook! Or, if it was a town of people who were informers for the police, it would also be an appropriate name. Hey, that shows our cultural knowledge because they don't say "grass" here, we say more like "rat" or "snitch." Anyway, we're getting off the topic. This was a lovely tour, and now we must dine at the Corner House one day. And then we'll grass about how good it was! Oh not what I was expecting but still a great look around Grassington, a place we both love, despite only being there once before. It was so nice to meet up last week and real pleased we decided to go to Linton Falls, what a treat that was and great way to finish off the day. I have seen videos before when the water was just trickling over the rocks but we sure times it right last week, cheers Alan
That was our first fleeting visit to Grassington, you can probably tell from all the dead end alleys I kept walking down! Certainly looks like a very charming village, I can imagine it getting rammed in the summer, I was tickled to see how many people were determined to sit outside in the freezing cold! Linton Falls are amazing, a day out in themselves, im glad you mentioned them because we had never heard of them before. They were certainly very full. Andy, Yasmin and yourself get a lovely cameo at the end whilst watching the amazing kayakers! Awesome day, lots of content!

they are stunning arent they? Although I hear of some Councils tarmacking them over because they get so many complaints from people injuring themselves on them. A real shame.

OMGoodness, stones and stones. The building structure is alike through the town. I wonder the same architect designed the entire area or not???? Is sidewalk filled with stones as well? You mentioned pet-friendly hotel. I wonder how comfortable the dogs walk on the stones on the ground?? haha..Unbelievable, I don't recall any graffiti in the village so far, if I am not mistaken.
How charming it is!!! The water falls are absolutely elegant and its has unique character to it. No wonder many visitors are glued by it. haah Your masterpiece! the film ends at one of the most picturesque views inn the village.

A lovely tour of Grassington. A cute village. I love the stone sidewalks contrasted with the stone buildings. So quaint! Love the cute little shops. The fountain that used to supply water the village is so neat. Linton Falls is so nice, I love the sound of the rushing water. So soothing. Those kayakers are on quite the fun adventure. Oh, a little waterfall! I don’t know why but I found it funny to hear all the cheering for the kayakers going over.
Yeah they were really full on this day usually even smaller not like the big boys you visit 😂 the kayakers were amazing it was fun cheering them on as they made it down safely 👍
nice little stroll, nick and jill! this area is quite charming, i can see why filming happens here. i love the dedicated flower boxes. smart play! no super high heels on those cobbles. good thing i don't wear heels anyway 🤣 so many cute shops. please tell me you cut filming and went in for an ice cream at brymor. ice cream every opportunity! the rush of the water, so powerful. and i am dying to get back in my kayaks, so watching them i was so filled with envy and awe. i'm not quite that adventurous. lol! have a great weekend! 🛴❤

What a super place. My parents spent many holidays in the area and my dad, yes that's right my dad, loved visiting the shoe shop in Grassington !😂Great to see around the village & experience where they used to go. I love the limestone buildings, the cobbled streets and the many small & inviting independent shops. I wonder if folks thought you were part of the film crew haha Always interesting to see these locations. No wonder house prices are so expensive with fabulous walks/falls so close too. Wow those kayakers have some nerve ... looks sooo exciting but maybe I'll just watch for now 🤣😂🤣

Hello Nick and Jill, a lovely village, love all the houses are made from stone. Very quaint village walk. Used to love watching 'All Creatures Great and Small'. I was expecting a few streets and into the countryside, but it's actually a pretty big village! Beautiful as well, I like the way all the buildings are made of the same brick, the shop fronts aren't garish and the streets are cobbled. Not too much traffic either, if this was down here near London the place would be rammed! But I guess there are lots of nice little places in the Dales. Wow, great footage of the kayakers! Rather them than me 😂 great video guys, did miss seeing your faces though!

I think if I were staying here I'd do something similar although I must admit I don't enjoy making thise kind of videos as much as the hiking/adventure ones. It's a shame people aren't more into the hiking stuff we do, they don't know what they're missing!
