Great bike, for sure. What is obvious to you or I is interesting information to many. Salesman? No, I'd be big money ahead if I'd walked away from motorcycles today. Never bought a bike I didn't lose money on. Wahoo!
The ‘67 I had was the TR6C version with the high pipe single carb the engine looks identical, not sure of the differences between the two years Very nice restoration
The front brake is definitely not 68. 68 was the first year of the twin leading shoe brake. And it doesn't have a 19" rear wheel like you say in the video. The red warning light on the headlight is the oil pressure light. Maybe get someone who knows something about Triumphs for the next video.
Front brake on this particular bike is, like my 67 Bonne, a single leading shoe & not the DLS that it had new. Pretty sure that's not an oil light on the headlight but I'll check again. I did call the back tire a 19, it is an 18. Thanks for pointing that out. Always like constructive criticism. And you're right, I don't know a thing about motorcycles. Wahoo
@classicbritishbikesupersto2247 I didn't say that you don't know anything about motorcycles, but there were just too many mistakes about that Triumph. When you turned the key on, the high beam light came on, so someone probably just plugged it in to the wrong light. Red is for oil pressure and green is for high beam. The 68 front brake backing plate is one year only.
Beautiful motorsickle........
Master of stating the obvious.....Salesman ?
