I was at this game. Ole Miss stadium was under renovation and there was only 2 or 3 gates entering the back stands. The rain was heavy starting I think in the 4th quarter. Biggest rain drops I have ever seen. Bama finally came together in the second half. I think this was the best game Bama played all that season.

The DVD I was working with cut away from the game to the local meteorologists reporting on tornado warnings quite frequently. During one of those weather updates your kick return happened. I'm so sorry. But thank you for commenting. One of the reasons I edit and upload these highlights is for former players like yourself. And I truly hate it when a glitch or something happens on the DVD that prevents me from putting in plays like your kick off return.
It was a great run buddy. And the penalty at the end was BS. People now don’t understand the probation we were getting over at the time and what a great job all of you did. Especially in the Eggbowl and LSU. Hope you are doing well! Ole Miss fans at my age don’t forget.
Seems a bit convenient you left off the last Ole Miss touchdown but managed to get in the conversion attempt. Prior to the point, there was a BS celebration penalty on Avery for diving into the end zone - nevermind that he was diving away from a defender and narrowly made it in in the process. The penalty severely damaged any rational chance for Ole Miss to score 2 and make it a 7-point game, and Lindsey was not a good kicker with a PAT from the 3, much less from the 18.
I can't help it. The video I was working with had a lot of severe weather breaks, one of which covered up the TD and ensuing celebration penalty. Look at the other videos I have done. I think I am very fair to both teams in all of them.

The editing on this one just seemed a bit odd, but obviously I was mistaken. Thank you for the work you do. Will you be putting up recaps of the Ole Miss-Alabama matchups in 2001 and 2003 when you get to those years?

This was probably one of the better games Bama played this season. Played great in the Iron Bowl but the Auburn Voodoo bit em.
