Good afternoon Paul! That is a colossal flower display...thank you Mrs. H!! The Edwin Jagger 3ONE6 is a super razor. I purchased the all stainless steel knurl handle version and there is no regret. Every time I see you use the TOBS Grapefruit cream my SAD kicks in and I must suppress the temptation. To be honest, I do not need anything more. Truth be told, death is likely before I exhausted my current stocks of shaving supplies. My last shave outing was a rush job with modern Williams Mug soap (which I lathered to a nice creamy and thick consistency with a 26 mm synthetic brush) and a disposable razor. I only had a few minutes to get a DFS and I managed to do better than I expected. Normally, I dislike use the disposables, but I find if you only have so much time they work great for that purpose. You shave went very well; looks close and comfortable. Enjoy your birthday celebration. BTW, the cake sounds delicious. Take care.

Paul, this razor is slightly aggressive but comfortable and efficient, once you shave with it and you don't require to shave for two days, I have got the silver colored aluminium handle version that is a bit lighter, however grip of this handle looks better, initially I wasn't comfortable with this razor but now this is in my rotation 👍👍👍

i purchased a new yaqi 24mm synthetic brush ordered back in april im still waiting for it .ebay said its tied up in us customs and i should receive it soon ? .i also own a 40yo crabtree & evelyn shave brush but the brush is past prime but i love the handle marble lime green im looking for a place that can remove the old knot and replace with a 22mm synthetix tuxedo.very difficult around my area.

Likely go with either Thayer's Witch Hazel with Lavendar or Lucky Tiger and then Nivea Shave Balm (sensitive skin). If I am feeling brave enough to risk SWMBO's wrath, I might throw on Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue in between the Thayers/Lucky Tiger and the Nivea...

If I want to get a more efficient shave out of my Gillette 7 o' clock razor should I use sharper blades or just experiment with the angle? for I use the Gillette Wilkinson Swords Made in India and I find myself pressing a lot on my face and if I don't press, the blade just slips over my stubble. Should I get Feather blades or should I plan on buying a more aggressive razor ?. And do you recommend using some moisturizer after using alum ? though I live in a place where it can be really humid sometimes. Thanks Paul. I have never early got on with Feather blades. Some recommend running the new blade through a cork to remove the tugging you mention. Might be worth a try one day?

In Deinem letzten Video hast Du einen Merkur Hobel zerlegt und gesäubert - ein tolles Video, allerdings möchte ich mich einigen Kommentaren anschließen und den Einsatz eines Ultraschallbades empfehlen - das Ergebnis ist überragend gut, als Öl verwende ich immer Ballistol, das ist völlig ungiftig und ist sogar noch gut für die Haut ... das gibt es sogar als Massageöl. Die Blumen von Deiner Frau sind einfach wunderschön und aus dem Garten ... hoffentlich ist noch etwas übrig geblieben, da hast Du aber noch einiges gut zu machen bei Frau H. :) ... I recently watched one of your videos where it was a complete PAA products video that included The Cube 2.0. (I actually ordered The Cube 2.0 the other day, waiting on it to get here.) I was wondering if you could use the Cube 2.0 with either Proraso or Taylor of Old Bond Street Cream. (I have Proraso Blue and my daily razor is the Merkur 23C and my blade is Gillette Wilkinson Sword Saloon Pack) I'm very very curious to see if the Cube adds more slickness to Proraso's Product Creams or boosts it entirely.. Paul: An update: I got "The Cube" today in the mail. Got it opened from the box and decided to shave. I was a bit nervous and apprehensive at first. I'll say this: There's not too many times in my life that have left me speechless...This one of those times. 😲😲😲 I applied the Cube, then my shaving cream. The Cube added alot of slickness, made my razor & blade work more efficiently with an easy gilde.. Wow! My 3 pass shave was a joy.. My skin was more slick and comfortable after the shave than not using The Cube. I'm very impressed...I'm going to use this in my shaving routine. I hope you're doing well... Thanks Paul!!! Great shave. Happy birthday Paul. I used a Proraso Green for two consecutive shaves, both of which were the latest I’ve done. I should buy more soaps/creams to get a variety with one to choose from

I love my TOBS Grapefruit. It is one of my favourite scents. I also have the 3one6 and thoroughly enjoy using it. I have not used the Hydra Sensitive balm yet but I will try and find a home bargains near me as I am also after the Nivea two phase!

Thanks Paul. I have never early got on with Feather blades. Some recommend running the new blade through a cork to remove the tugging you mention. Might be worth a try one day?

Herzlichen Glückwunsch nachträglich zum Geburtstag Paul! Ja ich muss Dir Recht geben, die Taylor of old Bond Street ist eine sehr gute Rasiercreme. In Deinem letzten Video hast Du einen Merkur Hobel zerlegt und gesäubert - ein tolles Video, allerdings möchte ich mich einigen Kommentaren anschließen und den Einsatz eines Ultraschallbades empfehlen - das Ergebnis ist überragend gut, als Öl verwende ich immer Ballistol, das ist völlig ungiftig und ist sogar noch gut für die Haut ... das gibt es sogar als Massageöl.
Die Blumen von Deiner Frau sind einfach wunderschön und aus dem Garten ... hoffentlich ist noch etwas übrig geblieben, da hast Du aber noch einiges gut zu machen bei Frau H. :)
... Ich bin schon gespannt welchen Hobel Du als nächsten zerlegen wirst - Inspektion of a Gillette black beauty.

Curiously enough in my SOTD I also used TOBS Grapefruit shaving cream and the PaulHFilms brush as a dedication to you. The razor was the Fine Marvel with a Lord platinum blade and to finish Denim Black after shave.

I recently watched one of your videos where it was a complete PAA products video that included The Cube 2.0.
(I actually ordered The Cube 2.0 the other day, waiting on it to get here.)
I was wondering if you could use the Cube 2.0 with either Proraso or Taylor of Old Bond Street Cream. (I have Proraso Blue and my daily razor is the Merkur 23C and my blade is Gillette Wilkinson Sword Saloon Pack)
I'm very very curious to see if the Cube adds more slickness to Proraso's Product Creams or boosts it entirely.. I hope that peaks your interest, too.

An update:
I got "The Cube" today in the mail.
Got it opened from the box and decided to shave. I was a bit nervous and apprehensive at first.
I'll say this: There's not too many times in my life that have left me speechless...This one of those times. 😲😲😲
I applied the Cube, then my shaving cream.
The Cube added alot of slickness, made my razor & blade work more efficiently with an easy gilde.. Wow!
My 3 pass shave was a joy.. My skin was more slick and comfortable after the shave than not using The Cube.
I'm very impressed...I'm going to use this in my shaving routine.

I find that Feathers are harsh and don't last beyond a third shave for me. The Kai blades are equally sharp, much smoother and last longer for me.
