When the watcher is getting his ass kicked through the multiverse you can see Mustafar from Star Wars. It’s not just a lava planet because on the arch in the background you can see Vader’s castle. They didn’t have the clip in this video but trust.

I think Ultron coming out of the last episode was before he fought the watcher. It's probably after Ultron realized the watcher is watching and him trying to "find" him so he kept jumping universes until he finally got to the watcher
I disagree, my prediction is the next episode will pick up right where Party Thor episode ended.. and perhaps party Thor universe is the first stop on Ultrons multiverse hitlist now that he has access to the multiverse via the watchers realm. I think the watcher and Dr Strange Supreme will save/recruit party Thor from his universe.
In the comics the Watcher can watch multiple multiverses at the same time so that could explain why he was surprised twice in last episode and in this one

The Watcher exists outside of time and is Omni-Present which means he observes multiple timelines at the same time. This is partly why he was surprised by Ultron (in the last episode), who had by that point attained a similar state of being to the Watcher and told him he would find him. This should not be possible, but it appears the stones have allowed Ultron's already incredible mind to evolve even further. Remember the watcher talks about these episodes in the past tense at the beginning of every single one, and then as the episode progresses he can change to present tense and sometimes he states future inevitability. Our general perception of time doesn't apply to him and now Ultron. I think the next episode will also add more clarity Edit: Its was smart for Watcher to go to that strange's universe because the fact that it's destroyed its already at peace and ultron wouldn't be going there. Man I can't wait, The Watcher is literally gonna team up with comic level strange.

A side note here there’s another movie like this called the Next Avengers I believe. It also centers around what if ultron won. All the avengers die with the exception of Thor, tony and the hulk and the children of the avengers are the ones that have to rise and stop ultron.

I dont think we can assume that the timeline is chronological throughout the episodes. It has to be a time bend bullshit The Watcher can do that if he is "narrating" a certain universe, he is also doing the same shit in others AT THE SAME TIME. One thing that Married2theReal pointed out is that when Ultron showed up in episode 7, the Watcher acted like he was *completely* surprised by him showing in Party Thor's universe. He shouldn't have been though, because the only way to have gotten there was through Ultron's actions in *this* episode. I think Marvel messed up continuity w/the ending of episode 7; a simple fix would be for Ultron to show up without the stones. That would've told the audience that Party Thor was part of our reality & the events from ep 7 occurred before 8.
I'm lowkey heated that Ultron just oneshot Thanos like that. I was really expecting some kind of epic fight but nope, he just split that man like butter 🧈 😂🤣😂🤣 Also Vision really could have stopped all of Infinity War and Endgame from happening with a simple laser slice 😭😭
They showed the true power of the stones in this one you see what threat Ultron becomes, but you have to understand the stones are at their most powerful when they're all together, and secondly Ultron doesn't experience any of the negative repercussions of using the stones so he can use their power to its fullest unlike Thanos who takes damage and everyone else who basically dies from it. Then there's the thing you have to remember about this, we're not dealing with vision we're dealing with ultron, vision is a hero and will try is absolute best to resolve things peacefully he would never go that far, Ultron doesn't care.

@@JStar55555 Being able to kill an enemy combatant in a fight is very different to murdering someone on sight before they've had a chance to do anything. Thanos showed up unarmored and ready to monologue, and Ultron immediately took him out before he could react. There is more than just physical capabilities to consider in a fight, the mindset of each also plays a large role: Vision is compassionate and only resorts to violence as a last resort. Thanos is cold and ruthless, but also very arrogant and loves to monologue about how awesome he is. Ultron is completely dispassionate and only seeks one thing, the destruction of all life. Ultron and Vision may share the same powerset (pre infinity stones), but they are very different people and thus will utilize those same powers in very different ways.

Left the Doctor's strange universe to be destroyed. Ultron arrives at the Watcher's house, and the first thing he does when he can't defeat him. Just ask the strange Doctor for help. As the Brazilian popular saying goes: "The world doesn't turn, the world capsizes."
I like to point out that Ultron can't be blamed for any of this. It is all tony's fault. Ultron is just a slave to the programming he was given and in a sense killing all life to end chaos can be argued as a way to make peace. This is why I love Ultron in the shows/movie/comics. His actions reflects his creator.
This episode also proves theres multiple watchers, bc the watcher "watching" episode 7 was not aware of that ultron. I'm excited to see what they do next episode.
To keep getting mindblown: Now that The Watcher is intervening, he can go to multiple universes and recruit a team of the strongest beings from all the previous episodes.
This episode made me so happy, gave Ultron the threatening presence he deserves. Like this was basically how all the old Ultron phases of the comics went, world ends, avengers dead, new heroes or gen has to take on Ultron
Why can Ultron beat Thanos? Two reasons. 1) We have to remember that no one in the MCU ever used the infinity stones against Thanos. Even Thanos told Doctor Strange "You never used your greatest weapon."; Think about this: No one used the stones to fight, only Thanos". Mind stone (they only tried to remove it from Vison, not use it); Power Stone and Reality stone ( was locked away in a vault and not used); Space stone (Loki hid it and didn't use in the Asgardian's fight); Time stone (Doctor strange only used it to look into the future, not against Thanos) The Ultron vision basically just actually used the stone The stones are hobbled in the "cases" they are in but the mind stone is free, a complete mind inside a body so when Ultron/Vison uses the stones he is using it to it's max potential. He doesn't hesitate. Doesn't allow time for Thanos to monologue. He recognizes a threat, deletes it. Moves on. If you combine the two: use the Mind Infinity stone to full potential with the the cold efficiency of a machine, it's easy to see how he could win.
*_Inconsistencies of the episode:_* 1. Thanos split in half even though he was able to withstand the attacks of Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, the Mjolnir the Stormbreaker. 2. What did Thanos sacrifice to obtain the Soul Stone? Gamora's cameo is seen as Ultron begins purging worlds. 3. Why aren't Asgard and Xandar destroyed if Thanos has the Power and Space Stones? 4. How can Ultron use the Gems in the Watcher space? Gems do not work outside the bounds of time as shown in the Loki series.
I like to just think some shit is mildly different. Like maybe Thanos cared more about Nebula, and maybe Ultron just really fucked with the Mind Stone to set it to like 'Super duper, ultra killing kill mode' or something. My guess is honestly that you just have to suspend your disbelief a lil. I mean, it gave us a fuckin' badass episode and cool fight scenes, so I don't care either way.

I think the willpower comment he made was his will to not interfere. The watcher still wasn't allowed to kill Ultron even if he was a threat, he was defending himself and escaping, he can interact with strange as he has perceived him before, and perhaps grab others from the other episodes. I fell like if he broke his oath completely he would defeat him but he would see asking others for help so he doesn't directly interfere as keeping to his oath. In the comics, he actually had interfered into an event he was watching and was placed on trial by his own people for his numerous violations of their ethics code.
Sort of reminds me of the the plot from Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow when Ultron destroyed the Avengers leaving the children of the Avengers to defeat Ultron

You know, I never really understood the whole "Hacking leading to nuclear Armageddon" thing that Hollywood keeps doing. In the US at least, it couldn't really happen that way at all. Also, this version of Age of Ultron is much more comics accurate (minus the galaxy crunch) than the 2nd Avengers movie.
You guys dont seem to know but the watcher or watchers(they are actually many of them) are not omnipotent and are actually pretty low on the power scale as far as multiversal beings go. Above the watchers you have beings like the celestials and galactus. Above them you have entities like lady death and the beyonders. And above *them* you have the truly omnipotent beings like the living tribunal and the one above all. Dont get me wrong the watcher is still very very strong but ultron unleashing the true unchecked power of all 6 infinity stones would be roughly around celestial level, within reach of the watcher but not someone you'd expect him to beat on his own, hence him going to Dr strange, potentially the only other being in his assigned multiverse with enough power to assist in combating Ultron. I would think he would have gone to request the support of other watchers but i guess not for whatever reason.
Anyone else think this Episode's premise doesn't really work? When Ultron is in possession of all the Infinity Stones, why doesn't he simply eradicate all life in the universe in an instant? He doesn't have to be hands on and kill all life personally. It took Thanos a snap, and he only wanted to kill half of all life. There really shouldn't be much of an Episode with a genocidal A.I. wielding all the Infinity Stones.

What's funny about this episode, it focuses on Natasha & Clint but it's funny to think that they are the ones who've survived all of it and they're just plain humans now you could say it's a plot convenience but also human resilience unlike people who rely solely on other things like suits of armor and their God powers

I think Ultron coming out of the last episode was before he fought the watcher. It's probably after Ultron realized the watcher is watching and him trying to "find" him so he kept jumping universes until he finally got to the watcher
I disagree, my prediction is the next episode will pick up right where Party Thor episode ended.. and perhaps party Thor universe is the first stop on Ultrons multiverse hitlist now that he has access to the multiverse via the watchers realm. I think the watcher and Dr Strange Supreme will save/recruit party Thor from his universe.
In the comics the Watcher can watch multiple multiverses at the same time so that could explain why he was surprised twice in last episode and in this one

The Watcher exists outside of time and is Omni-Present which means he observes multiple timelines at the same time. This is partly why he was surprised by Ultron (in the
last episode), who had by that point attained a similar state of being to the Watcher and told him he would find him. This should not be possible, but it appears the stones have allowed Ultron's already incredible mind to
evolve even further. Remember the watcher talks about these episodes in the past tense at the beginning of every single one, and then as the episode progresses he can change to present tense and sometimes he states future
inevitability. Our general perception of time doesn't apply to him and now Ultron. I think the next episode will also add more clarity
Edit: Its was smart for Watcher to go to that strange's universe because the fact that it's destroyed its already at peace and ultron wouldn't be going there. Man I can't wait, The Watcher is literally gonna team up with comic level strange.

I dont think we can assume that the timeline is chronological throughout the episodes. It has to be a time bend bullshit The Watcher can do that if he is "narrating" a certain universe, he is also doing the same shit in others AT THE SAME TIME. It's like having a prerecorded content that you can edit it whenever. Thats why he was shocked by Ultron appearing in Party Thors universe. The algorithm finally collided. Ultron is a nexus event, after all.

The universe was so quiet that Ultron could hear the Watcher
One thing that Married2theReal pointed out is that when Ultron showed up in episode 7, the Watcher acted like he was *completely* surprised by him showing in Party Thor's universe. He shouldn't have been though, because the only way to have gotten there was through Ultron's actions in *this* episode. I think Marvel messed up continuity w/the ending of episode 7; a simple fix would be for Ultron to show up without the stones. That would've told the audience that Party Thor was part of our reality & the events from ep 7 occurred before 8.
I'm lowkey heated that Ultron just oneshot Thanos like that. I was really expecting some kind of epic fight but nope, he just split that man like butter 🧈 😂🤣😂🤣
Also Vision really could have stopped all of Infinity War and Endgame from happening with a simple laser slice 😭😭
The stones in the MCU are nerfed heavy
They showed the true power of the stones in this one you see what threat Ultron becomes, but you have to understand the stones are at their most powerful when they're all together, and secondly Ultron doesn't experience any of the negative repercussions of using the stones so he can use their power to its fullest unlike Thanos who takes damage and everyone else who basically dies from it.
Then there's the thing you have to remember about this, we're not dealing with vision we're dealing with ultron, vision is a hero and will try is absolute best to resolve things peacefully he would never go that far, Ultron doesn't care.

I fully understand why Ultron uses the stones better than any living person, that was never in question or really related to my comment since Ultron was in Vision's body with just the mind stone while Thanos had the rest of the stones like in Infinity Wars...that was kinda the whole point of my comment.
But in regards to your second paragraph. I'm just gonna say Vision definitely stabbed and killed a member of the Black Order in Infinity War so saying "he would never go that far" is in inaccurate.
He also did kill Ultron, who while not human, is clearly sentient. Vision even says Ultron is afraid to die

Thanos showed up unarmored and ready to monologue, and Ultron immediately took him out before he could react.
There is more than just physical capabilities to consider in a fight, the mindset of each also plays a large role:
Vision is compassionate and only resorts to violence as a last resort.
Thanos is cold and ruthless, but also very arrogant and loves to monologue about how awesome he is.
Ultron is completely dispassionate and only seeks one thing, the destruction of all life.
Ultron and Vision may share the same powerset (pre infinity stones), but they are very different people and thus will utilize those same powers in very different ways.

Left the Doctor's strange universe to be destroyed. Ultron arrives at the Watcher's house, and the first thing he does when he can't defeat him. Just ask the strange Doctor for help. As the Brazilian popular saying goes: "The world doesn't turn, the world capsizes."
I like to point out that Ultron can't be blamed for any of this. It is all tony's fault. Ultron is just a slave to the programming he was given and in a sense killing all life to end chaos can be argued as a way to make peace. This is why I love Ultron in the shows/movie/comics. His actions reflects his creator.

Why can Ultron beat Thanos? Two reasons.
1) We have to remember that no one in the MCU ever used the infinity stones against Thanos. Even Thanos told Doctor Strange "You never used your greatest weapon."; Think about this: No one used the stones to fight, only Thanos". Mind stone (they only tried to remove it from Vison, not use it); Power Stone and Reality stone ( was locked away in a vault and not used); Space stone (Loki hid it and didn't use in the Asgardian's fight); Time stone (Doctor strange only used it to look into the future, not against Thanos)
The Ultron vision basically just actually used the stone The stones are hobbled in the "cases" they are in but the mind stone is free, a complete mind inside a body so when Ultron/Vison uses the stones he is using it to it's max potential. He doesn't hesitate. Doesn't allow time for Thanos to monologue. He recognizes a threat, deletes it. Moves on.
If you combine the two: use the Mind Infinity stone to full potential with the the cold efficiency of a machine, it's easy to see how he could win.

They are breaking their own rules by allowing Ultrons Infinity stones to work outside his universe. One of my biggest annoyances

1. Thanos split in half even though he was able to withstand the attacks of Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, the Mjolnir the Stormbreaker.
2. What did Thanos sacrifice to obtain the Soul Stone? Gamora's cameo is seen as Ultron begins purging worlds.
3. Why aren't Asgard and Xandar destroyed if Thanos has the Power and Space Stones?
4. How can Ultron use the Gems in the Watcher space? Gems do not work outside the bounds of time as shown in the Loki series.

Like maybe Thanos cared more about Nebula, and maybe Ultron just really fucked with the Mind Stone to set it to like 'Super duper, ultra killing kill mode' or something. I think the willpower comment he made was his will to not interfere. The watcher still wasn't allowed to kill Ultron even if he was a threat, he was defending himself and escaping, he can interact with strange as he has perceived him before, and perhaps grab others from the other episodes. I fell like if he broke his oath completely he would defeat him but he would see asking others for help so he doesn't directly interfere as keeping to his oath. In the comics, he actually had interfered into an event he was watching and was placed on trial by his own people for his numerous violations of their ethics code.
Sort of reminds me of the the plot from Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow when Ultron destroyed the Avengers leaving the children of the Avengers to defeat Ultron

I was like how can he see/hear The Watcher, I be forgetting when you have all the infinite gems you become cosmically aware. Speaking of, this really shows you how powerful Doctor Strange is, the fact that he can speak to comic beings like its nothing, without the gems. I hope they delve into the 70s Doctor Stange's power because lemme tell y'all something, that nigga was STUPID POWERFUL back in the day. OH and that wasn't Galactus, still Ultron, just a nod to the fight The Watcher had with Galactus.
You know, I never really understood the whole "Hacking leading to nuclear Armageddon" thing that Hollywood keeps doing. In the US at least, it couldn't really happen that way at all.
Also, this version of Age of Ultron is much more comics accurate (minus the galaxy crunch) than the 2nd Avengers movie.

You guys dont seem to know but the watcher or watchers(they are actually many of them) are not omnipotent and are actually pretty low on the power scale as far as multiversal beings go.
Above the watchers you have beings like the celestials and galactus.
Above them you have entities like lady death and the beyonders.
And above *them* you have the truly omnipotent beings like the living tribunal and the one above all.
Dont get me wrong the watcher is still very very strong but ultron unleashing the true unchecked power of all 6 infinity stones would be roughly around celestial level, within reach of the watcher but not someone you'd expect him to beat on his own, hence him going to Dr strange, potentially the only other being in his assigned multiverse with enough power to assist in combating Ultron.
I would think he would have gone to request the support of other watchers but i guess not for whatever reason.

Anyone else think this Episode's premise doesn't really work? When Ultron is in possession of all the Infinity Stones, why doesn't he simply eradicate all life in the universe in an instant? He doesn't have to be hands on and kill all life personally. It took Thanos a snap, and he only wanted to kill half of all life. There really shouldn't be much of an Episode with a genocidal A.I. wielding all the Infinity Stones.

What's funny about this episode, it focuses on Natasha & Clint but it's funny to think that they are the ones who've survived all of it and they're just plain humans now you could say it's a plot convenience but also human resilience unlike people who rely solely on other things like suits of armor and their God powers
