I would really like to know the power scaling on Infinity Ultron and Dark Strange, those two are ridiculously powerful. Also, this show is amazing because the characters get to be as powerful as their comic book counterparts.
I assume anyone who has risen to a level of existence that they can perceive the multiverse is at the ultimate level. They would be at equal strength. Just the infinity stones tilted it in Ultron's favor, but Strange having one for himself also helped even the odds.
@@Slayer8957 Yeah. Strange can handle all of Ultron's energy based attacks via his absorption sorcery, but it's shown repeatedly that Ultron can simply overpower Strange physically, except in his monster form. It's probably why the Watcher chose people who could tank Ultron's hits either via natural durability or vibranium.
WHY THE STONES WORKED- Ultron wasn't using the stones conventionally. He was essentially using them to power himself, like batteries. For example, we've never seen the green light of the power stone used offensively EXCEPT when Ultron uses it. That's why he didn't just turn The Watcher into bubbles or something. ALSO - You we're right about them NOT working in the TVA because that place cancels all magic energies
I heard he uses it on himself since he is from his universe so rather then generally attacking with it, he alters himself instead. Same reason stranges infinity stone worked, but only on himself, making him immune to Ultron's time stone power.
That's not at all what was going on with this show. The reason they work is because this is MCU aka new rules. The whole thing about the stones don't work in other universes is in the comics. The MCU never established that rule. And even if Ultron tried using the stones on himself outside of his universe that still wouldn't work given the comic rule said they don't work at all in other universes. Also I'm pretty sure Dr Strange used his time stone to negate Ultron's and that wouldn't work if the comic rules was in place here lol.
Even the writers "explanation" doesn't make any sense given Ultron was able to influence the planets and project his face in the sky. That's not powering himself that's using the stones on that universe.
14:20 That was a nice reference to the og Armin Zola. In the comics he had a robot body with his face on his chest and a camera for a head. Kinda like krang fromTmnt.
Funny thing is that in the Loki series Loki is never supposed to win. He thought he won in 'What If' but then black widow drop kicks him out of nowhere. Even the Watcher doesn't want Loki to win lol
Party Thor's universe where he got to live a happy healthy life among other Frost Giants is arguably Loki 'winning'. The TVA likely would have shut that timeline down as soon as Odin returned Loki before it became an established universe. If it wasn't for TVA Loki and Sylvie's fuckery that universe (and the entire What If show itself) wouldn't have existed at all.
Let me Explain: the reason why the stones work and in loki they didn't is because the stones were outside space and time where time and such doesn't follow the way time works in their universe... But since the stones and in different universes work with the same L.O.P in ultron's the stones work the exact same way although different they work the same way as any other infinity stone in any other universe does
I have a question, is the Soul stone the only stone you can grab without any consequence or it’s only the power stone that can kill you if you grab it? Also, I’m guessing the only reason that Killmonger didn’t get hurt by having all the stones at the same time was because he was protected by Dr. Strange’s spell? Because if not then those are plot wholes…
@@ChampionOfHammerfell You can hold the stones without consequences actually, only using it actually cause harm to you. I think Killmonger didn't get hurt due to the advance armor that he take from Ultron.

I advise anyone not to look up information about that version of Gamora. She was part of an intended episode that focused on that version of Iron Man and didn’t make it this season due to production problems during covid. The episode will be added in season 2
In their defense, the inclusion of Captain America and Marvel were at the tail end of that episode, and it’s the only episode that someone wasn’t chosen from so everyone probably just forgot the episode even existed.
@@ChampionOfHammerfell yeah and there's 3 hint that they should have notice it right away. 1.the world where widow dieds 2.only Cap and captain marvel defending the ship 3.and Loki attacking the ship and asking why widow lived that's the hint from me to notice it
In case you guys have question about War Gamora, she was supposed to have her own episode this season (even Lupa in an earlier episode pointed out how weird it was to have 9 episodes). The story was what if Tony stark hit Thanos' ship with the nuke he redirected in the first avengers movie, Gamora would use the havoc to kill Thanos and become new Thanos/Gamora. It was obvious they had more planned this season but scrapped it likely for a second season if they do it.

His father sent him to earth to watch & sore a oath to his people not to interfere, although he has interfered 337 times. The real reason why he must not interfere is because he can be punished for it by the council of the Watchers, he had been punished before but that’s another story. The watcher base is on the moon he basically lives there
@@TheGreater-ScopeVillain the infinity stones were flashing because Ultron was trying to end Strange, but couldn't. Supreme Strange is beyond the power of the Infinity Stone.
Black Widow was sent to the universe where Ant-Man clapped the avengers before they became the avengers. I love all of these call backs to previous episodes. Really wished they were longer tho.
About the Stones working outside their universe and so you guys get the idea clear: In Loki all they said was the Stones don't work inside the TVA, they never mention anything about not working outside their universe in general. The reason why people thinks about that is because of the comics, in the comics the stones only work inside the universe they were created on. The movies have their own logic and system for many things that are pretty different from the comics.
The infinity stones only working in their own universes is from the comics. The MCU never established this rule for the movies. Just because the stones don’t work in the TVA doesn’t mean they wouldn’t work in alternate timelines.
Thank you. I really stopped bothering explaining this to people. They get the explanation and go to another video and ask the same questions. And sadly that's not the only thing they get hung up on. A lot of people seem to think that alternate timelines are different from alternate universes, when in fact they are just two different names to the same thing, and they confuse themselves and other people with them. I blame New Rockstars videos.
Thank god for Strange Doctor otherwise they would've majorly fucked that up. They really taught Zola was going to be on their side after disassembling Ultron from within and that Killmonger wasn't going to betray them? Like Watcher gave no warnings beforehand?
Black Widow believed Zola to be the better option than Ultron The others knew Killmonger for like half a day tops and I'm pretty sure he didn't share his dark past with them. Also everything that happened was planned by Watcher to happen
He has to be the one who sacrifices? Watch the movie doctor strange:Multiverse of Madness. Where he sacrificed to save the planet like hoe tony did to Avengers:Endgame
In the case of Steve, I'd think one of three things happened: 1. I can't remember if it shows him properly escaping the portal so there's a chance he got sucked in too and eventually got out somehow. 2. Hydra manages to get hold of him again and Winter soldiers him like Bucky. Or they already did something that slowed his ageing. 3. He's actually just super old in there. Though that one's not really as happy an ending.
So basically, in the comics they shouldn’t work outside their universe, but in the MCU they can work so long as the timeline or universe they came from is still exist. The ones in the TVA are from timelines that were erased, hence why they don’t work
Commenting on your comments from the beginning. I think that the infinity stones didn't work in the Loki show because the TVA exists not just outside the known universe, but the known MULTIVERSE. But it does raise the question of how Ultron got into the watchers domain and started causing trouble
From what I could come up with : ultron wouldnt have to leave his universe at all - with the space stone powered by all the others, he could theoretically just bring his universe with him. Kind of like a bubble? Simply put - imagine the multiverse as a pile of fabric sheets layered ontop of one another. Now place infinity ultron at the center of a glass bead and put that bead between those sheets. All Ultron would have to do in this scenario is use the stones to "protect and propel" himself, essentially sliding around the multiverse without having to actually leave his own universe. Wanna break through to an alternate universe? Rip through a sheet. Lastly, whenever ultron attacks the wstcher, he'd simply extend his "bubble" to include the watcher when needed. Stretch the bubble along the length of a straight beam of power and whatever it hits gets included into that bubble universe + hit by the beam. But thats just my 2 cents ^_^ lemme know what you all think Oh and ps. Love the reactions!! Bahaha, is there a 4th seat somewhere i can take?! LOL it would be AWESOME having you 3 as friends All the best~
it was never mentioned in Loki that the stones won't work in other universes, it only said it won't work inside the TVA, which is a pocket dimension outside the multiverse, just like the Quantum Realm. im guessing The Watcher's realm is a pocket dimension within the multiverse just like Strange Supreme's bubble.
Yup stones work in other universes confirmed by this show and also Endgame… alternate timelines in the MCU are essentially the same thing as alternate universes. This is all different from the comics so it’s created some confusion.
From what I have heard from other marvel TH-camrs and people who know a lot about Marvel cinematic universe they said that they started working on the story for what if back in 2018 so that’s why there’s a lot of inconsistencies with some of the things that are going on in the story but apparently in season two things should be better and connected more.
I love how tactical this this was. I wondered why the watcher brought together this group in particular. But looking at it now. We have Carter-Uniting Leader Qualities. Gamora-Can destroy the stones. T'Chala-Master Thief Thor-Idk I guess he needed an electric element. Killmonger-He needed him to try and take the stones. Natasha-Brought the virus.. And Strange-His job was to make it so they all could actually fight and survive. MVP.
4:05 if reading for this part. basically from what i heard there was production issues that they couldnt release it in time so the episode with gamora defeating thanos and such will be pushed to season 2.
The best metaphor I think I've ever seen as to why diety-level beings shouldn't interfere in the mortal realm came from a light novel called _In Another World With My Smartphone._ God Almighty tells the MC that basically a god trying to use their power in the mortal plane would be like a human trying to fix a broken spiderweb with a needle and thread. Basically impossible to do without causing more harm than good and better left to the spider in the first place. Note for the most part The Watcher left the fight to the mortals to avoid ripping the multiverse a new one accidentally with his own power.
Here's how I understand that the Infinity Stones work according to the MCU rules. With One of the stones you get limited control over that aspect wherever you are. If you have all six at once you gain unlimited control over the entire universe but the blowback will kill or mutilate most living beings. It's not yet shown if having all six stones lets you manipulate universes other than your own. The reason the Infinity Crusher didn't work on Ultron's Stones is because they were different enough than hers that it couldn't properly destroy them. It's kinda like fitting a square block into the circular slot.
2:24 in one of the comics, Reed Richards(Mr Fantastic) met up with his other counterparts and took him to the council of Reeds. There, showed three different Reeds with the stones and disintegrated when they both used it in the same room.
Who watches the watcher: The One Above All, The Living Tribunal, Eternity, Infinity and beings with cosmic awareness and ability can check them. Hopefully season two goes into it.
The show changed the rules. In the comic book canon, infinity stones can only work in their own respective universe. So if I took the stones from say Universe-1 and travelled to Universe-2, my stones would be rendered useless.
@YaBoyRoshi, 1:22 Who made the TVA? He Who Remains. Who is he? He is essentially Kang. He might not be Kang the Conqueror Kang, but he was a conqueror of some type, but that's beside the point. He can do the same things his variants can do and we know this because he told us when he explained his past. Kang, though "Just a man. Flesh and blood" is able to go toe-to-toe with superpowered people. Why is that? He's able to do that because he's from the 31st Century and he has access to technologies that allow him to nullify their powers. Why wouldn't this guy, the guy who built the TVA use that technology to in his organization? The TVA has to occasional go up against superpowered people to protect the Sacred Timeline, right? This is likely why magic and the Infinity Stones do not work at the TVA. Magic, does in fact work in the Citadel at the End of Time, as evidenced by both Loki and Sylvie in their battle, and that's likely because He Who Remains willed it so. He gave them access to his domain and he allowed them to make their own choices, and if he was going to be real with them, as he said he would, he'd have to turn off whatever he had on protecting himself--my man, took his hands off the levers of power and we saw things go off the rails pretty fast, so I don't think this is a stretch. Anyway, the stones work where ever they find themselves to be...sort of like the Dora Milaje, lol. You saw it last episode with Ultron jumping from universe to universe, and you'll see it again in this episode with both Ultron and Strange using their respective stones. Aside from the stones being the only thing capable of destroying the stones, it appears that things built in the universe of the stones with that ability can also destroy their respective stones. Anything else is a no go, from what we've seen and were told, so far. 1:29 the MCU =/= the comics. Many fans keep trying to make these two universes the same and they aren't. They are their own separate universes. The MCU is rooted in the comics, yes, but it doesn't follow the comics verbatim--it never has. Every time we fans try to make it fit we end up getting things wrong or disappoint ourselves...look no further than WandaVision or Ultron or Doctor Strange if you will. What if...? Is sort of giving diehard comic fans the characters and powers they've wanted to see while keeping the characters and powers they've been using in the live-action MCU. 11:35 Nidavellir--they showed her there at the beginning with Tony. She, Tony and Eitri were melting down the gauntlet remember? Eitri can make anything! He made a machine to use the power of the Stones, weapons for gods and in Gamora's universe he made a machine to destroy the stones. 15:20 Uatu, the Watcher breaks his oath. We watched him watch the end of 7 universes, and this is the moment he steps in to save 6 of the 7. Uatu cannot undo what's been done, so the world Ultron destroyed, the one Natasha comes from is forever lost. He didn't not make her return to a dead world. Instead he inserted her into the world Hank Pym ruined, the one with King Loki trying to take over the world. From the look of things, Natasha saved the day and Nick Fury, along with Steve Rogers, Carol Danvers, Natasha Romanoff and Phil Coulson are going to make the Avengers with the heroes who came later--Natasha knows of Hydra, Doctor Strange and T'Challa so she'll be able to save them a lot of trouble moving forward. Uatu probably didn't help T'Challa Star-Lord, as it looked like he already had things under control, but if he did that world is about to flourish with Peter fighting along side the Ravagers. The Ultron invasion coming to Vegas is destroyed and Thor's a hero. And from this point forward, I guess he lives happily ever after, lol. The world Erik Stevens screwed over is now free of him. Uatu got Erik to help and he knew Erik's greed would eventually get the better of him. Erik, was needed to defeat Arnim Zola, as someone needed to be sacrificed to trap Zola in a pocket universe and Erik jumped at the chance to do it, lol. Supreme Doctor Strange is stuck, as his universe is gone. That said, Uatu gave him a chance to atone and he did it spectacularly, as he helped save the Multiverse. Strange isn't bitter about it either. He got to spend time with others and he has a friend and a new job. While he has to stay in his own pocket universe, he's no longer alone, and Uatu might pop in from time to time to talk with him, and I suspect that we'll see this Doctor Strange again in the future when they need to trap another threat in a pocket universe far from everyone else. This series was satisfying from start to finish and I love how it all played out. I wish we could have had the Gamora story as it would have given her and Tony more time, but apparently we'll see it next season, but I wonder if it'll get changed up to fit that season more. This was a lot of fun and I cannot wait to see what comes next.
In the comics, I think for the most part yeah the stones only work within their respective universe. But in the MCU, I think they generally work wherever. In the TVA case, the TVA had systems in place to neutralize the stones' abilities while in their dimension.
Starlord: Where is Gamora? Ironman: Yeah, I'll do you one better, who's Gamora? Drax: I'll do you one better, why is Gamora? The Watcher: I'll do you one better. What if Gamora?
The tesseract was powering the Stomper maybe that kept Steve alive when he crashed into the ice because in the comic it can keep your body if used properly in a limbo state.
The tesseract got removed by Hydra. That's why Bucky had to jump start the suit and it then ran out of power. Steve had already survived the ice at this point.
The multiverse is a commutation of different timeliness. The stones would work no matter what timeline/universe they existed in. They didn't work in the TVA because it was the TVA. It cancels all other forms of power including the stones, magic and meta abilities.
1:15 Old school comic canon for the Infinity Gems(/Stones) is that they only work within the universe they came from. That said however, we're talking the multiverse with endless possibility, so it's not impossible that Ultra-Ultron's are built different.
The best answer I heard to explain why the stones work, is that the watcher isnt looking at different universes, but all the different timelines of one universe playing out. It’s dumb they called it the multiverse as that literally implies multiple universes. But it makes more sense that this one watcher is just viewing all the different times the timeline split in are know mcu universe
You guys were right initially about the Infinity Stones working everywhere except the TVA in the Movies/Shows, but I'm pretty sure in the comics they only work in their own universe. It seems like a thing they changed specifically for the MCU to make it more interesting.
You know, the young lady made a good point that I didn't realize. When Scarlett Witch face dropped, I didn't realize she might of recognized Vision and was like "WTF?😧". I assumed she was like "oh shit that didn't do nothing".
In the TVA in the MCU they have "magic" dampeners so that no "magic" works. In the comics the longstanding rule has been that the Infinity Stones don't work outside of the universe that they were created in. The MCU has apparently changed the rules for this series
I want to say that this really recreated the feeling of wonder I felt reading What If comics as a child in the 1970s. That's an impressive feat given that my tastes are a lot more sophisticated than back then. Kudos to the writers.
They never said that, just showed that the stones were useless at the TVA. The Crusher doesn't confirm anything except that stones in different universes are slightly different
my theory is that "What If" occurs within a pocket multiverse inside the MCU the same way the MCU was previously a universe, but is now a contained multiverse within the greater marvel multiverse
Look back at Endgame where the Avengers travelled back to past timelines to retrieve the Infinity Stones to bring everyone who are wiped out back and the stones from these different timelines still work as Bruce/Smart Hulk and Tony was able to make the snap which Bruce brought everyone who were erased back and Tony snapped to erase past Thanos and his army from existence. So the stones have be in ANY universe to work except if they are in the TVA. Because the TVA is not in any universe at all and is outside of space and time. I guess the stones need space and time to work which universes have. Also, remember how the show LOKI began?
1:37 So guys, in the comics the stones can only work in their home universes BUT also in the comics, you can't use the stones to destroy the stones. Something we saw Thanos do in the MCU. If the ''What IF'' series is part of the MCU then they seem to be using different rules for the way the Infinity Gems (stones) work. Then what the rules are in the comics.
2:03 The 'timeline' the Avengers traveled to in Endgame was not the same universe. It was an entirely different universe, it just wasn't explained well. Otherwise Loki would not still be dead in the original timeline because he escaped in the other timeline. They weren't doing true timetravel, that required the Time stone. They were hopping between alternate universes. Endgame set up things like Loki and What If?
Technically speaking, the TVA itself is a space that nullifies like any magic or Powers than anyone has. It's in that specific space that the Infinity Stones don't work. In regards to the mcu, nobody ever explicitly said that the stones can't work outside their own reality.
The stones work because he is casting them on himself which is a part of his universe since he is now only a robot but a human AND the mind stone… or at least that’s my theory
From what I've read, Watchers who intervene are tried by a counsel of Watchers. Although the Watcher got involved, he still let the heroes do the work. If Ultron was allowed to destroy the multi-verse, how would that have impacted the Watchers themselves? Ultron had to go.
Each universe has its own stones. Therefore when entering a new universe you fall under the jurisdiction of that universe’s stones and all other stones stop working. At least that’s what the deathbattle between Thanos and Darkseid taught me.
In case y'all didn't catch it, the universe Widow got sent to was the one where Hank Pym killed the Avengers. So every episode got a little extra closure in the finale. Also, why in the world did we not got an episode of that Gamora's universe?! I know it's expensive and all, but we really got a whole episode to party Thor and just a cameo for "Tony Stark and Gamora take over the universe"??
Did anyone catch that Easter egg when captain carter and widow mention Bernard. Wasn’t Bernard played by Jeffery Wright on Westworld. That character watched over westworld. Now he is the watcher on What If! Crazy!!
Nah in the comics it’s stated that the infinity stones don’t work outside the universe they were made in because they represent the pillars of that universe and that universe only. They are like physical manifestations of the concepts that build the universe itself. But in the MCU I believe Loki only said that the TVA invalidates the power of the infinity stones and all magic
The infinity stones don't work on other universes cause they only work in their universes or on things from them, Reason why Ultron can't rewind, Teleport, Rewrite reality, Ultrom can though use the stones on himself like batteries or to boost himself, Which is why he was able to still be as strong, But couldn't use the stoned for their true purposes or how we saw in the main timeline.
So with the infinity stones, they don’t work inside the TVA, hence why Loki was shocked and asked “is this the greatest power in the universe?” They can work across the multiverse tho.
The reason those stones were flickering during the fight between Supreme Strange and Ultravision is because this strange is soooo effin powerful that he gave the friggin infinity stones a good run for their money Also he's not the ONLY Watcher. If you remember Guardians of the Galaxy 2, rocket and yondu were jumping through portals and they went across a world with a few Watcher's and Stan Lee. And the one that governs the Watchers and pretty much all of it is called The One Above All. Basically the god that created all of this in the beginning. Below that I think is the Living Tribunal and then a bunch of celestials like Infinity also mentioned in GOTG 2 and Galactus etc then there's the Eternals/Deviants(Thanos) below that
So there was one episode where Tony Stark appeared and DIDN'T die and it was the only episode they couldn't finish? lmao. I'm super hyped for season 2.
In the comics the infinity stones don’t work outside of their intended universe but in the MCU they seem to be wanting to change that. Plus Ultron with the stones is a lot stronger than he should be. But even with that, separate timelines are separate universes and so idk. It just boils down to the MCU directors have no idea what they want and just keep jumping from concept to concept and creating confusion and plot holes
If I can remember correctly there isn’t a watcher who watches the Watcher but there is a kid named Franklin Richards that controls all of Marvel. He does it subconsciously though. Anyone who he doesn’t want to die doesn’t die for as long as he wants, they’re just turned into different timelines and iterations.
The thing is I’m k the comics, it’s explicitly said that the infinity stones don’t work outside their local universe. But in the MCU, they never said so. It’s just in the TVA so far and we all assumed it was the same.
what a finale!

Strange can handle all of Ultron's energy based attacks via his absorption sorcery, but it's shown repeatedly that Ultron can simply overpower Strange physically, except in his monster form. It's probably why the Watcher chose people who could tank Ultron's hits either via natural durability or vibranium.
Both are able to destroy the universe, I think at this point they're both nexus beings
@Travis Williams Where is that said/mentioned
yes, when they fought on this episode, it's on ulltron's original universe. he could have won if dr strange didnt use his time stone
Alot of people dont seem to realize that, the universe The Watcher took Widow to was the one where Hank Pym killed all the Avengers in episode 3.
You’d think hearing replacement avengers and the fight between nick fury and Loki would be an excellent tip off
@@thesilverbeast6092 I was surprised Roshi or Sheera didn't catch it.

@@DizRupTnz I actually think the TVA would allow Strange’s universe to exist mainly because since everything got destroyed then there’s no Kang.

About the Stones working outside their universe and so you guys get the idea clear:
In Loki all they said was the Stones don't work inside the TVA, they never mention anything about not working outside their universe in general.
The reason why people thinks about that is because of the comics, in the comics the stones only work inside the universe they were created on.
The movies have their own logic and system for many things that are pretty different from the comics.
Guardian of the Multiverse in a nutshell;
100%= All of them
99%= Supreme Doctor Strange
😌👌
Like Watcher gave no warnings beforehand?
like strange in infinity war- ☝
Black Widow believed Zola to be the better option than Ultron
The others knew Killmonger for like half a day tops and I'm pretty sure he didn't share his dark past with them.
Also everything that happened was planned by Watcher to happen
He has to be the one who sacrifices? Watch the movie doctor strange:Multiverse of Madness. Where he sacrificed to save the planet like hoe tony did to Avengers:Endgame
In the case of Steve, I'd think one of three things happened:
Though that one's not really as happy an ending.
man the tie-ins from all the episodes was dope, I thought they were all standalone episodes
Marvel:
"We pulled a fast one on you, didn't we?"
:)
I just realized the universe that Widow got sent too was the one where all the avengers got murked by Hank
But thats just my 2 cents ^_^ lemme know what you all think
Oh and ps. Love the reactions!! Bahaha, is there a 4th seat somewhere i can take?! LOL it would be AWESOME having you 3 as friends
All the best~
it was never mentioned in Loki that the stones won't work in other universes, it only said it won't work inside the TVA, which is a pocket dimension outside the multiverse, just like the Quantum Realm. im guessing The Watcher's realm is a pocket dimension within the multiverse just like Strange Supreme's bubble.
Yup stones work in other universes confirmed by this show and also Endgame… alternate timelines in the MCU are essentially the same thing as alternate universes. This is all different from the comics so it’s created some confusion.
Ultron has no imagination with the stones, while strange was the MVP
From what I have heard from other marvel TH-camrs and people who know a lot about Marvel cinematic universe they said that they started working on the story for what if back in 2018 so that’s why there’s a lot of inconsistencies with some of the things that are going on in the story but apparently in season two things should be better and connected more.
I love how tactical this this was. I wondered why the watcher brought together this group in particular. But looking at it now. We have
Carter-Uniting Leader Qualities.
Gamora-Can destroy the stones.
T'Chala-Master Thief
Thor-Idk I guess he needed an electric element.
The best metaphor I think I've ever seen as to why diety-level beings shouldn't interfere in the mortal realm came from a light novel called _In Another World With My Smartphone._
God Almighty tells the MC that basically a god trying to use their power in the mortal plane would be like a human trying to fix a broken spiderweb with a needle and thread.
Hopefully season two goes into it.
whoever edits these vids is a goat. the windows sound had me dead
The show changed the rules. In the comic book canon, infinity stones can only work in their own respective universe. So if I took the stones from say Universe-1 and travelled to Universe-2, my stones would be rendered useless.
@YaBoyRoshi,
1:22 Who made the TVA?
Ultron: oh right i have the time stone. Imma use it
Dr. Strange: so it's the same type of stone as time platinum
@@kevinjackson7169 But if you remember the Tesseract was on the ground at Steve's knees after Carter went through the portal.
The multiverse is a commutation of different timeliness. The stones would work no matter what timeline/universe they existed in. They didn't work in the TVA because it was the TVA. It cancels all other forms of power including the stones, magic and meta abilities.
Of all characters to be trapped together for eternity, Killmongerer and Zola were not the ones I would've expected
What if was supposed to have 10 episodes but later they changed it to 9. I guess that extra episode was Gamora’s story
Makes sense
You are correct
Yup, covid
Supreme Strange here is basically the Red Rush of that OmniMan vs Guardians of the Globe battle.
Sheera seems to always pay attention and remember all the details, so trust her when she says things instead of doubting her all the time!
They said "Outside their intended universe"
They even confirm it, In this episode, with the Crusher.
They never said that, just showed that the stones were useless at the TVA. The Crusher doesn't confirm anything except that stones in different universes are slightly different
my theory is that "What If" occurs within a pocket multiverse inside the MCU
the same way the MCU was previously a universe, but is now a contained multiverse within the greater marvel multiverse
13:29 Legit thought something came up on my computer lol
1:37 So guys, in the comics the stones can only work in their home universes BUT also in the comics, you can't use the stones to destroy the stones. Something we saw Thanos do in the MCU. If the ''What IF'' series is part of the MCU then they seem to be using different rules for the way the Infinity Gems (stones) work. Then what the rules are in the comics.
Sheera: just the tip
Me (a cultured man) : damn it why didn't I think of that
Roshi: infinity stones don't work in other universes.
" Ultron comes from behind"
Ultron: Oh but anything is possible in multiverse bro.
At least that’s what the deathbattle between Thanos and Darkseid taught me.
in the comic, yeah, but apparently mcu doesn't follow that rule.
“he got the infinity stones but he don’t got McAfee installed” PLSS 💀✋
18:25 bucky was a normal human, still gave cap a hell of a fight
Strange is like that one over leveled player that bring under level players into his fights and has to carry cuz they’d get one shot by the boss.
Every member was chosen for a specific reason no matter how small.
Don't sweat the rules about the Infinity Stones... they will do whatever the writers decide they need to do for the story.
So with the infinity stones, they don’t work inside the TVA, hence why Loki was shocked and asked “is this the greatest power in the universe?” They can work across the multiverse tho.
The reason those stones were flickering during the fight between Supreme Strange and Ultravision is because this strange is soooo effin powerful that he gave the friggin infinity stones a good run for their money
Also he's not the ONLY Watcher. If you remember Guardians of the Galaxy 2, rocket and yondu were jumping through portals and they went across a world with a few Watcher's and Stan Lee.
And the one that governs the Watchers and pretty much all of it is called The One Above All. Basically the god that created all of this in the beginning. Below that I think is the Living Tribunal and then a bunch of celestials like Infinity also mentioned in GOTG 2 and Galactus etc then there's the Eternals/Deviants(Thanos) below that
The Leader watches over the Watchers...love the reaction! Love from Canada
So there was one episode where Tony Stark appeared and DIDN'T die and it was the only episode they couldn't finish? lmao.
I'm super hyped for season 2.
Ironically the one episode cut from season 1
So that is where Gamora comes from
In the comics the infinity stones don’t work outside of their intended universe but in the MCU they seem to be wanting to change that.
Bruh, Strange literally pulled a Rimuru and Beelzebubed that explosion. I loved it so much.
Thor screaming when the watcher grabbed him is definitely a reference to Thor: Ragnorok when he was being teleported in the chair.
The stones work in realitys that obey the same laws of reality
The thing is I’m k the comics, it’s explicitly said that the infinity stones don’t work outside their local universe. But in the MCU, they never said so. It’s just in the TVA so far and we all assumed it was the same.
