what a beautiful family, they made me think of all the bitterness, the anger and the thirst for vengeance I carry within myself and how it serves me no profit. their ability to be able instantly forgive the evil tossed their way without question humbled me, and when one of his daughters said without her Lord and savior she couldn't have been able forgive but because of Jesus she has no ill will, that was some heart speaking amazing grace we witnessed.
Isaiah Dillard I really don't understand how you or any other Christian could forgive someone who just murdered your family member in cold blood without any remorse whatsoever. The man wasn't even captured by the police or killed yet and their already forgiving this devil. Black people really have got to stop being so quick to forgive those that hurt us;especially if they haven't asked you for their forgiveness. That really makes us look weak,docile, and meek. We should do the forgiving in private,not for the world to see. I'm a Christian I won't have been so quick to forgive this devil and forgiveness takes time to build up to. You better believe when I do forgive you,I will never forget what you did. That's a promise.
A sinner may think forgiveness looks weak, but the Lord knows that forgiveness is strength. God asks us to forgive knowing that it will be difficult, but he asks us anyway because that is how we move on and hold anger and sin away from our hearts. Lathen Mardlin I understand all that and I know what God said about forgiveness;but I won't be forgiving that fast and easily. That takes time to do;especially after a family member was murdered. People will never forget what that monster did. This is my opinion and how I would handle the situation. I'm not one of of those weak,docile Christians who let's people run over me like some of the rest of them do and neither was Jesus. The only reason those black people forgave Dylon Roof was because the government gave them 29 million dollars in hush money and you haven't heard from them since. Look it up! That was probably a hoax. This was probably a hoax as well and another distraction from the real issues at had. How ridiculous it is for the families of these victims to receive around 3 million each while the families of the hundreds of other shooting victims each year get nothing. Not a dime. Why is that you think?
To the people who have received this family's pain, courage and forgiveness as "fake" or "staged", I forgive you. I feel sadness in my heart for you, sincerely.
THIS is an excellent example of a family grounded in the Lord Jesus Christ and HIS principles. What a marvelous lesson in love and forgiveness. Forgiving the offender frees the offended from being the victim of life's injustices. This is a great lesson and example to me. God bless these true believers in Christ.

If Jesus was the victim's Lord and Savior, then all of his pain, fear, and suffering cannot compare to the joy, peace, and glory of him being with God the moment his heart stopped. Our bodies are just shells/tents. We have a soul and spirit - and if you don't belong to God, you belong to the evil one. If you died today, do you know where you'll end up? In short, Jesus came down in human form, lived a sinless life, died as a living sacrifice for our sins, rose again and will return. If we believe this and accept His free forgiveness, and welcome Him into our hearts, we have eternal life with Him. If you don't believe, have questions, doubts, or have weak faith, try googling the site "EveryStudent". It helped me understand who God was when I was an angry, lost, depressed unbeliever. Turn to God - in your anger, unbelief, frustration, lack of faith - He wants to hear from you and will reveal Himself to you if you ask. He loves and wants you - He is waiting for you to turn around and notice His open arms. P.S. - its not a religion. Even Jesus condemned religion. It's about a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Give Him a try - what do you have to lose?
