Same.. He was in the perfect spot to take a shot in the face. lol... Not very aware, these guys. They should have caught the table flipping up too.. With the trailer flipping over-- that's just because it's a bad design-- all the weight is way up high, so you really have to go slow around corners: She's far too top heavy to be turning faster than 30mph.

About the DEF usage - we got a 2022 Ram 2500 last fall and have close to 18,000 miles on it now. It burned considerably more DEF on break in than it does now. Would take a near jug every week or two driving normally for maybe the first 5k miles, but now I’m filling it maybe once a month. No difference in driving conditions.

I've got a Ram too. I like that the Rams have enough power they don't need to stick a 10 speed in them to make it work better. But, realistically, none of the heavy duty pickups are a bad choice anymore. I'm a Ram guy I guess because the Cummins diesel engine has been tried and true for years and years and years. There is a reason all the tractor trailers on the road pulling the weight of the world have inline diesel engines in them. Better design for diesel engines, in my opinion. Anyway, like I said awhile ago, glad you're all ok and nothing happened during the trailer toll incident and congrats on a beautiful new tow rig. Can't beat the technology in those nee Rams. I still find features in mine every now and again. Haha

I like the older stuff mines a 06 3500.. it don’t have the def and all the deletes to do to them.. diesel’s high enough without having to add def fluid.. and all the crack downs.. nah.. I like my older stuff! Some people is all about the creature comforts.. nah I don’t need push button everything.. and I’m like y’all I don’t want the hole n the roof! U can get some tunes that will work with the factory emission stuff for the dodge.. and help that def situation out.. keep up the great content. The trans temp in the SD's are regulated with an internal thermostat to keep the fluid at temp for better mileage and the trans is designed to run at the warmer temp than what you are used to seeing on older stuff. My 19' 6.7 trans temp will increase by 3-5* from empty to pulling 10k no matter how I drive it. New trucks are silly how good they tow though, hard to go wrong with any of the big 3. You guys tow big stuff long distances and he likes the duallys, check out a F450 with that wide track front end. 6.7 power, 10 speeds and tuning radius FTW.

I had a 2019 ram limited 3500 HO Cummins and it drank DEF too. Not sure why. My 2014 Ram 2500 barely sued any DEF. My 2021 powerstroke used very little DEF as well compared to my 2019 Ram HO 3500. I also felt like my 2021 powerstroke definitely had more power than my 2019 ram HO Cummins, although both had plenty of power. And I also agree the powerstroke had plenty of cooling capacity but the 2019 ram oil and trans ran cooler.
