i am currently broke on tms, so i am running
single moved victini, was gonna do hoopa but i spent 49 tms on clefable
malmar but with superpower instead of hyper beam
and shadow gardivor

The first team I was running yesterday was shadow latinos, victini, and slowbro swap. First two sets I went 4-1. Woke up today and immediately dropped my first 3 games - so I switched to your team and have have all positive sets.

@@XehrFelrose Well the success was short-lived lol! Seems like EVERYTHING hits it for supereffective. YOUR team though is Absolutely the Best. I have managed to handle energy generation and shield usage well, resulting in ALL positive sets. Usually a 3-2 or 4-1, but I did sneak in a 5-0 during a fun 8 win streak.
If you mud slap the opposing Malamar in the lead a couple of times before switching to your own Malamar, you'll beat the opposing Malamar all even shields because your Malamar can then tank two Foul Plays, while the opposing Malamar cannot. Slowbro might actually be a little better with Sludge Bomb instead of legacy Surf since Brutal Swing still hits Claydol and Victini pretty hard and Sludge Bomb can occasionally be useful as a nuke.
I think that Surf and Sludge are both great and I totally agree with you. Also great point about the Mud Slaps! That does add up making the difference in HP.
note, not true all the time it’s iv dependant whether or not malamar survives 2 foul plays lol

Thanks! If I see a G-Bro lead I keep Claydol in because it smashes it. Most opponents will swap out of that matchup.

You even have the Brutal Swing+Surf set on the G slowbro just like me. On god, don't know what I would want Sludge Bomb for in this meta. pvpoke still ain't explained it to me

@@PowerGem3000 Claydol and Victini it hits harder than a Brutal Swing if you only get to one move. But sludge will work just as well to nuke other things like Malamar.

I have been musing about using Cresselia, but you can also try something like Bruxish here.
@@XehrFelrose I stopped playing back in early 2019, got back into pokemon go 3 weeks ago when I moved from America to Phillipines so not use the pvp side. I got the gal rapidash, malamar and shadow garde with decent iv for pvp. I just don't know if that combination would work and If so. What skill layout would I go? Your malamar I'll prob take. Saw another guy not using megahorn but the other nuke for rapidash. Not sure about garde. Also if I should replace one with something I can get from the psychic event.
@@preemptivefaceplant5277 Currently, Beeheeyem's first evolution is available in the wild, it has Astonish, which is really strong in this cup. You could 100% slot that in for the Claydol here. Rapidash is also good, High Horsepower hits the Victini and G-Slowbro, whereas Megahorn is universally able to hit anything in the cup. Hopefully that helps, and also welcome back!!

Agree! Also this - when they swap in rapidash, they almost never shield the hyper beam. That's pretty much a guaranteed win when that happens. If they do shield it, I let Malabar go down and farm a ton of energy on G-bro.

Lol I hate this cup with a actual passion, feels like everyone who doesn't have clay hoopa is just locked out of any meaningful wins and it's a short enough cup where I feel dirty wasting dust 😔 I'm leaving this cup to pros, i'm out. Definition of insanity is fighting and running the same mons over and over 😂
