This performance is truly magical. I have listened to many renditions of this song both acoustic and live but I do believe this is now my favourite version of this song. Damn they need to release an acoustic album. So many songs are perfect for this stripped-down style!

I lost my beautiful horse just over two weeks ago. He collapsed with another rider on him and he died in my hands. He was just brilliant, he not only meant a lot to me, but to many others. He was truly so kind and so special. It's extremely empty coming home and remembering he's not here,. It hurts to listen to this but at the same point it helps me to really feel the grief I need to process. Thank you Myles and Mark for such a beautiful rendition.

My dad and I loved Creed, Alter Bridge, Tremonti's solo projects, and Myles' various projects and we even got to see Myles and Slash live. But man, this song kills me inside when I hear it now. It's such a beautiful song and always been a favorite of mine since I first heard it. A month after this video was posted, my dad passed away and all I can think of now when I hear it is him. Thanks for the beautiful song. I know Tremonti wrote it for his mother and it's just the most perfect song in remembrance of someone who has passed away.

That was the song that got me solidly into AB right away from 2004 on. I had been a huge Creed fan before (and still am!) but lost track of them a bit after the quirrels of the Weathered tour and their eventual break-up. Must've been a coincidence but after my father had passed away in 2004, I somehow ran into finding that (most of) Creed is AB now and that they released this very song on their debut album the same year.
Well and that got me hooked, the rest is history.
