During that time he did make this broken girl whole again. Trust me no easy task. He's back in Fl. fighting the end stages of liver failure with his doctors. I'm rebuilding my life with my children in Pa. I know he will always watch over me even as a guarding angel. Playing this song for me was greatest gift he could have left me with. Please pray for him. Headed for transplant. I don't want to loose my best friend again.

Glad to have you aboard! Depending on your musical taste I would highly recommend checking out Alter Bridge. Their last four albums have leaned to the heavier side, instrumentally speaking, so if you like your low bass notes and drop tuned guitars, you will enjoy them. Otherwise, songs I would definitely suggest that showcase his vocal ability, are "Open Your Eyes," "Broken Wings," "In Loving Memory," "Blackbird," "Life Must Go On," "All Ends Well," and, of course, the album version of "Watch Over You." Meanwhile, he has his solo record, Year of the Tiger which has country, folk and bluegrass elements and is a great album. And he has recorded three albums with Slash and the Conspirators, as well as lending his voice to Slash's first album on songs "Far From Cali" and the stunningly beautiful "Starlight." Some of his old band, Mayfield Four's stuff is great too. There's a lot of Myles to enjoy there.
Myles Kennedy is one of the very best of the modern age. Just the way he beautifully falsettos the refrain at first, then belts it after the bridge is difficult to do and emotionally very powerful. This guy is so underrated and is a real singer in a genre that is now laden with half-talents that do very little with their voices beyond the most basic and boring of rock vocal styles. Love this guy.

these are the moments I search for and find so very rare a time. To hear this song sung with such perfect delivery and such haunting emotion, damn it, It is so beautiful it truly hurts in a good way. Voices like this are so rare. This composition truly bought out qualities in Myles voice I have never heard. What emotion. That breathy resonance, that moment he pauses to let the note linger in the air to capture you in, its beauty. I heard the guys from the Darkness are jerks (from watching the Lemmy documentary on Netflix), the signer from Three Days grace was also a jerk before he quit the band for rehab and stuff. The love of my life tragically passed away a few days back due to motorcycle accident while he was on his way to my place. Losing him was my greatest pain. He is my person. Someone I always talk to, go near, my everything. And then all of a sudden he's gone and I'm almost losing it. I badly want to be with him the soonest. Plan ahead of life is just something I just can't see. I can't see anything. I'm very devastated by what happened. All the plans we had together for our future suddenly collapsed in an instant. Listening to this song seems like from him. I love him so much. I hope whatever happens, to all the people trying to accompany me in this journey of grief, know I am very thankful for keeping me up. I'm just so much in pain.

Myles Kennedy is one of the very best of the modern age. Just the way he beautifully falsettos the refrain at first, then belts it after the bridge is difficult to do and emotionally very powerful. This guy is so underrated and is a real singer in a genre that is now laden with half-talents that do very little with their voices beyond the most basic and boring of rock vocal styles. Love this guy.
Thank you Myles for writing music that comes from the places that sometimes we can't explain or write about. Thank you for reminding us that we aren't alone.

It's crazy how guys like Myles are so so talented but don't get all the recognition they deserve... Yet for some reason i like them to stay hidden in their own little rocking world because honestly as much as I wish this wasn't true my generation can turn a majestic melody and a one of a kind artist into... these are the moments I search for and find so very rare a time. To hear this song sung with such perfect delivery and such haunting emotion, damn it, It is so beautiful it truly hurts in a good way. Voices like this are so rare. This composition truly bought out qualities in Myles voice I have never heard. What emotion. That breathy resonance, that moment he pauses to let the note linger in the air to capture you in, its beauty. I'm babbling like a school girl but as I stated when first starting this comment, these are such rare moments of perfection in music: There is a river where all creativity is, it is all there and to be allowed to "fish" from its waters one has to be truly blessed. When Myles approached said river he knew he was blessed and the gratitude is easily noticeable. How do I know this? Because he was allowed to hook this monstrously beautiful tune. Not too many bring home such a catch from there. This is perfect!

I heard the guys from the Darkness are jerks (from watching the Lemmy documentary on Netflix), the signer from Three Days grace was also a jerk before he quit the band for rehab and stuff. He often would go over his time and make the headlining band of the concerts they were on have to play less songs.

The love of my life tragically passed away a few days back due to motorcycle accident while he was on his way to my place. Losing him was my greatest pain. He is my person. Someone I always talk to, go near, my everything. And then all of a sudden he's gone and I'm almost losing it. I badly want to be with him the soonest. Plan ahead of life is just something I just can't see. I can't see anything. I'm very devastated by what happened. All the plans we had together for our future suddenly collapsed in an instant.
Listening to this song seems like from him. I love him so much. I hope whatever happens, to all the people trying to accompany me in this journey of grief, know I am very thankful for keeping me up. I'm just so much in pain.
June 2019 and for a year and a half now when I get sad about the passing of my father, this is where I end up. The lyrics echo beyond time, and the voice is surely from an angel. Thanks Myles. And for all of you out there here for the same or similar reasons, you keep them alive by keeping them in your heart.
