This song will make me feel like I’m in my mid-20s still no matter where I am in life. Working in a restaurant, getting stoned every day, getting to know my future wife… honestly it was an amazing time and I love looking back on it when I hear this song.
This is the first time I'm seeing this music video for "Mind, Drips" and, wow have I been missing out. Visualizer fits exceptionally well with Alan's music style. Makes me feel like I am actually tripping.
very rarely does a song never get overplayed in my list but this song never gets old, no matter how many fucking times i hear it. it gives me goosebumps. i dont even experiment with substances anymore, i feel like i have took all i could from those experiences and cannot gain anymore yet this song puts me in a trance like i am on a mild shroom high "feeling" the small changes in the colors around me.
@@aaronrivera6732 personally I've been "addicted" to pot since I first tried it. It's the only thing that clears my mind and let's me relax. On my days off tho I def smoke way more than I probably should.
Super, really superdelic!!! Awesome work on the video synthesizer front. I think its a long forgotten part of visual stimuli and I am really enjoying your audiovisual experience. Thanks for sharing :)
I remember one particular LSD trip I had one night. I left my friends crib who was having a party, this LSD was at about 4-5 hours in I'm still peaking, as I left it was about 5 a.m. No one was on the road as I was driving, I had the sunroof down, there was a slight chill in the air the sun was going to come up soon so there was this grey/blue tone to the sky, more blue if anything. Also there was some fog from the humidity, as I was driving down a long road this song was playing, beautiful time
I've always found your music to be pretty fucking amazing regardless of whether or not I was sober. Yet, today I found myself very lost on a sizable amount of LSD. Didn't know If I'd make it out alive for a second but damn this track saved my life. Long time listener, first time poster.
Neon Indian is Alan, he writes, performs and records 100% of it. He uses the band VEGA as his touring band for Neon Indian's live show. So basically Neon Indian has a band, but Neon indian is not a band. If that makes sense.
I do not remember how many times I was remembering when I was little listening Toro Y Moi, Washed Out, Neon Indian, The Twelves and other deities. I'm happy to still be people who know how to make good music. I am Brazilian but I'm always listening to the music of these bands that I mentioned. I hope everyone can also think like me and feel a little peace even in the world in which we live.
This one is a CLASS ACT! And I say this as a fourty-four year old guy. They're certainly representing Texas well (band's from Denton and Austin - both claim them).
I always hear "I love you more, I love you more, I love you more, I love you more" instead of "it's not your fault, it's not your fault, it's not your fault, it's not your fault"
When i first my first blunt i heard this song after being in the bathroom at school. This song still slaps. I remember how i high i was and sober people say this sounds like esctasy. It truly is unique and mind fucking. Smooth and relaxing.
Vega Loves Todd Rundgren, and was Highly Influenced by Todd's Experimentation throughout Todd's WHOLE and Continuing Career . Yes Go Neon Indian !! XO XO : )
Hahaha, truth is right now I'm coming back to this video a year and half later totally stoned... after what i complained about people being stoned with this video i can honestly apologize it's amazing
Interestingly, this analog representation more accurately depicts a drug-induced trip than most digital representations. It reminds me of my first DXM trip, especially.
I remember when this song first came out, I first started smoking weed around this time and I would watch this video and just hang off the side of my tub. Absolutely fried
This had to be like 2010 so this video must have been brand new at the time gosh, where does the time go? But it's been so fun to watch Alan grow as a musician
Does the producer/singer just come up with these melodies in his head or is it by accident? This music is too devine to not be the result of mere chance... Ear-delicious, ooooooooh myyy

This comment hits harder than you know. Neon Indian gives me such nostalgia to my early 20s, glad to know I'm not alone
16 years old trippin on research chemicals , peaking on the way to
The beach arriving to a sea of neon snakes slithering in the sand
@@josenaranjo5646 ya this was me too back in the day. Took way too many rc’s.
Been a fan for 10 years. Thank you Neon Indian.
This song never gets old..
Never...
2020 and I can confirm this.
Never 😌
never= 5 years
I like that I can find an old comment
10 years later and this bassline is still genius.
My dance teacher played this in class for our exercises. This song always reminds me of that class
Still hits even in 2024
The pure lyrics, beautiful beat, surreal video is EVERYTHING. I will always love this song.♡

You just took my thoughts out my brain. I've stopped smoking pot because I smoked way too much. I just have a pothead mindset.
Enjoy your life. I love yall. Smoke when you put in hard work.
Yeah like everything is covered in oil all purple and green

Breaking through the ceiling to land in your bed and then proceeding to slip into a hidden dimension? Great effect.

Lunar Brain
Like Nine Inch Nails... Trent Reznor was the creator of NIN & would often travel/tour with other bands for live shows
Neon Indian ! You guys are Awesome !
tripped out so nice to this song

The greatest artist that nobody listened to? Neon Indian
I love this analog sound
Neon Indian bringing back the 80s music.
kinda reminds me of Com Truise songs :)
It took me 7 years to find you, but here you go.

Whoa sounds like an incredible morning my friend,
this is the best video ive ever seen.
omg this is fantastic! I LOVE THIS TUNE SO MUCH!!!!!
more please, very interesting stuff.
This is fantastically encouraging, as CG is forever dated and I can see these effects aging wonderfully - as most practical effects do.
This is a decent representation of an acid trip at its peak
Me encanta tu música, Alan🥰

i love your music so much 💗
Love this song and video!
Thank you Alan
I remembered a night when I showed this song to a friend almost nine years ago. Now he's a lawyer but I'm still a "hippie"
COOOOOOOOOL!!!♥
Commenting to bring this song back to the algorithm

I always hear "I love you more, I love you more, I love you more, I love you more" instead of "it's not your fault, it's not your fault, it's not your fault, it's not your fault"
