Just noticed that the timer on the bonus round sounds like the count down timer from the late Dick Clark of The $100,000,25,000 Pyramid from 1980's.

It is. AND it's currently used in Michael Strahan's "The $100,000 Pyramid" on ABC.

The computer graphics look like the Classic Concentration graphics from a decade ago.

This isn't the full version of the pilot they did in Australia. It is a sneak peak. I Edited out a lot to keep it under 10 minutes.
Thank you for your insight about the Classic Concentration in the U.S. I thought it was a great game and enjoyed being a contestant!

In the bonus round from the American show that aired from 1987-1991, the clock started at 35 seconds and went up by 5 seconds each time it wasn't won.

I think they should have made the rules for the bonus round simpler: Get all 7 matches, win all 8 prizes. Don't get all 7, keep one of the prizes that you matched.

NOT everyone wants to win a car. Some folks may prefer other prizes over cars.

The clock sound used in the endgame was borrowed from The $25,000 Pyramid and the U.S. version of Century

Observation: The "you missed it" sounder reminds me of of the TPIR "loser horns."

I think U,.S. contestants would've LOVED to have had this format (in the last version of the show that aired in America, contestants who made it to the bonus round had a base time of 35 seconds to make 7 matches +5 seconds for every time it wasn't won in the base time (I think I saw a clip once where someone ended up with 1 minute and 15 seconds (75 seconds)

I bet this is Australia for this Concentration episode.Host didnt have to criticize the male contestant.saying "not close enough, he was close best,Patrick didnt deserve that disrespect from that host.Love when the man wins, bot the woman.

A rebus with this solution was used in a 1985 pilot for a US version of COncentration.

Bonus round strategy: save the car for last.

Not if you don't want to risk winning nothing.
This bonus round would have been better like this:
Make all seven matches within the time limit: Win all eight prizes.
Lose: Keep the last prize correctly matched.
