Started with a mustang. Had Camaros, toyotas and other manufacturers. Love and miss my king ranch PowerStroke. It was built. Now I have a sleeper Silverado high country.
Weirdly enough, I am currently restoring a 1964 Chevy nova. Swapped out an online 6 for a 283 v8 4bbl. I have been on it for 10 yrs. Time and money are short, but like you, I save and buy parts when I can, do my own work and learn along the way. I'm a hs science teacher during the week and shade tree mechanic on the weekends and breaks. I also work on other people's cars for extra money. No real training, just been working on my own cars since I was 15 and now I'm 55. Keep up the great vids and work at your own pace, not anyone else's.
A native Phoenician here. I am more of a muscle car guy. I own a 70 Chevelle with a 68 327 powerplant. That being said I enjoy your enthusiasm and dedication to your hobby. You are refreshing to watch on TH-cam. Keep up the great videos, and best of luck to you in your racing future.
Started out with an Acura, then Subaru, then Ford, then Nissan, and next is a Supra! And yes, my Subaru experience was painful too! 😅 Fantastic Q&A, it was so interesting to hear how you got into motorsports! My daughter loves seeing female racers so what you do matters!
Great Q and A! Good to hear how you got into mechanical work and racing, and about your projects. Too bad about the 453 marriage proposals though. 8^) Have fun and keep posting your videos. Cheers!
LOVE the video!!!❤️ You ARE a Very beautiful young lady, and watching you with your cars is an absolute joy! Can't wait to see your next TH-cam video 💘💋 God bless beautiful Sally ❣️
Sally, you are new to me & I truly enjoy watching your channel, keep up the outstanding job, your skills as a mechanic are far better then some idiots that I know, & they claim to be schooled, they have nothing on you. You are a mechanically inclined natural & I love your entire image, bravo Sally, I am officially subscribing to your channel. Salud 🍺🍻🍺, DC Los Angeles CA.
Thank you Sally for the Q&A. I love your story, passion and dedication to your craft. As an old time Hot Rodder/Drag racer I can relate even though I am 70 years old. Still have that passion in me to this day. Keep it up and know I am proud of you young lady!
Just so you know, I am pulling for you to build that Nova. I am a Chevy guy, but love all cars. High Performance Automobiles is who I am, both Camaros and Corvettes (I own both).
Im a big fan of gm gbody cars and the third gen f body cars ive owned several of both lol my favorite gbody cars being the 84-88 Chevy Monte Carlo cl and luxury sport, and i have owned several gbody Oldsmobile cutlass cars and unfortunately i usually end up with a abundance of Buick Regal cars no matter which of the gbody cars im looking for it is usually a Buick Regal that is either the better deal or a easy cheaper find that currently run
Other than that it would be square body trucks owned several of them also and I would like to find either a 84 Buick Regal somerset limited edition version 2 two tone brown for a project car and maybe another 83 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ and build a Oldsmobile 307 v8 motor and put a th2004r or a th350 turbo transmission with a shift kit
Add Go-Jo to your laundry. If it is gasoline or nlgi-5 soaked, soak it in straight Go-Jo and water. This is a MUST, for your safety. Better yet, uniforms. Or, surplus uniforms from an uniform company. Happy holidays from Florida! 😘🥰 Here's a name for your q&a segments: Sallys' Secrets
Had a H22A prelude 5th gen as my first "performance" car. Learned to drive on a 2003 SRT-4 though. Have since moved on to RWD platforms. '13 G37 Sedan / '21 Miata / '88 Jeep Comanche (they are 4.0L i6's under 3,000lb's with 180hp/240ftlb torque).
funny, I started with an x308. got it from my dad; luckily here in VA you don't have to pay transfer fees when you get a car from family. that was my first car and i miss it.
If you need and stains out of jeans or any other clothing use super clean … it’s awesome.. if it’s a heavy stain spray it and let sit for a bit then put in wash .. only wash with other work stuff ..
I like you and you’re just very interesting. I love to listen to you talk about your work. And above all just to learn from you, that’s a huge bonus just in itself.
Ha! Some of us old folks still don't have a Honda. Just interested in cars period. There's not much out there for more obscure brands like AMC and 60's and 70's Jeep pickup trucks. Keep up the good work.
I stumbled on your video shorts and think it's awesome to see women in Motorsports!! I love cars and anything mechanical and I'm hoping to start a Miata or Jeep build next spring. A video suggestion would be how to properly clean a modern car under the hood. I love clean motors and have concerns about the electronics. That engine you are putting in is a work of art.
Aye to first car memories, mine was a green '80 Corolla liftback w/ a 1.8L engine, five speed manual and non working rear brakes that I found out about one rainy day. Luckily nothing bad happened. IIRC the proportioning valve was no good.
Hey, Sally. I'm a big fan of yours in also Honda cars and engines. And I just see that you seem to have an engine of choice, and is it K24 or is it every small in line 4 that you can fit into one of your little cars? I've got a 2013 CRV with A K24. A in it and it's giving me tremendous service. I've got over a 100000 miles out of it. And I see a lot of modded K24s online going into different cars.
Lol love the videos. Your a treat to watch. Keep it up. 💯 just got a s2k and trying to fix it up but takes time when we work full-time so I know your position. Hopefully your youtube will blast off and pay out. Ivan
It's so funny that you got these guys actually asking to date them and for your number Like if you're really just gonna give it to them Your reaction Had me Laughing 😂
The Mr2 is an awesome platform. If you're looking at a sw20 and looking to motor swap it instead of keeping the 5sge/3sgte, then consider the 2grfe instead of a k swap. Personally I don't know why anyone would motor swap out of a 3sgte. I prefer the look of the aw11 though, that's probably not a popular opinion.
@17:20 Yes jumping in and doing learning is the way yo go. However it takes a midset to be good at it. To understand why this caused that. Not being a parts cannon. I work with a stack of "mechanics" none will touch any of my cars or projects. Put it this way.. none of them own a vehicle they actually work on. A good daily driver is nice. But where is your toy to learn and grow from?
A NOTHER suggestion: ( For staying focused:: I JUST saw this while watching bowling.) Take a RUBIKS (RUBICKS?) (RUBIX?) cube with you and make SURE that joulm is SUPER mixed up before you take it some where. (So you could work on un-mixing it while you wait for your events to start.) = o )
If the engine / transmission on 95 Civic somehow dies, I will look into electrifying it. Much faster than any K-swap. I saw a CRX with a Nissan Leaf EV motor and it was faster than Z370 in a drag race. Kids with fur are the best kind. I have two babies.
Good video Sally and done with class. Is Taylor going to tune the Teggy? Tell Kos I said hello, and wishing everyone continued success on track and in life this New Year.
Need to remove grease from jeans (or any other clothing)? Pretreat them with Oil of Olay bar soap. Seriously, I have not found ANYTHING that works nearly as well. Plus, it’s cheap and easy to get.
Hi Sally, you have a great personnality and this Q & A was fun It's always nice to see women work on cars! It's not just a men thing I'm 22 years old and i wish i could work like this on cars! I need some learning lol Anyways, will keep following the progress of your cars it makes me dream
Haha, who would've thought, TH-cam the new dating app. Just put out a car video and watch the suiters come. JK, but great videos and an inspiration to hopefully get my two daughters into working on my FD RX-7 with me.
Thank you for your content! I'm a older guy in Georgia who, at one time long ago, was a traditional hot rodder. The old junk is way too expensive now. I have been driving a 99 ranger for nearly twenty five years. I think I would like a small sporty little car and I don't know much about four cylinder cars. I like the looks of the Audi TT. What is your opinion of the Audi and is it a reliable car?
Hi Sally, I just watched one of your videos for the first time, and I became a subscriber and also your fan. You are beautiful, talented, intelligent and very friendly, a big kiss in your heart. Have a great day. I 'm from Brasil.
Suggestion: Get a toolbox / toolkit with magnets in the bottom or install magnets into a toolbox and use a magnetized tool tray so you don't end up loosing sockets.
I started out like most kids should with hoopdy first real nice car was a vw. Then I got my OBS trucks and then my cb7 Hondas. Never cared for Hondas because I used to smoke them all the time. And now I'm building 2 sleepers 😂 toughest part is getting money from the work I do on homes. Keep those wrenches turning.
I drive a V10 Ford. In winter with 4x4 engaged plus warm up time in the morning I get 10 mpg easily. Will do 19 on highway without a trailer with cruise set at 70 all day long. Even muscle cars that are "built" should be able to beat that with a carb. EFI and modern technology can easily get you 25+ mpg with a "high horsepower" motor. Not 300 horsepower in a 4cyl Honda, 500hp+ in a real metal car that cost half as much. 5mpg might be a real thing in a drag car but not something that is driven on the street. Even the Demon 170 is averaging over 13mpg making over 1,000 HP on the street 🙄
Hi Sally! I 've been enjoying following you on your way through the Sportscar scene! Would like to ask a personal question or two if that's okay. Not because I want to meet you or whatever, I'm already married with kids, so..... But are you married or dating anyone? Do you have any kids? How did you land the gig at the Ferrari Dealership? Will you race TC class again in 2024 or do you have plans to move up to GT? And are you going to race in IMSA or GT America's series? Lastly, what type of Dog(s) do you have?

I’m going to tell you something that i wished someone had told me early on in my racing career. Sell everything and invest your time and money into a racing kart. You will learn 3 times faster and be 3 times the driver you are today and still have money in the bank. There are kart races almost every other week.
Sally one of the only car girls without an only fans keeping it classy as always thanks for being an inspiration to myself and daughters
as a girl dad she's one I share with my kiddos! I want them to wrench with me some day.
sadly this says a lot about the current culture. the shift away from it is going to be very nasty.
That we know of ..😂😂 times are getting tough in the car sector lol remember.. money. ..and she's curious, only a matter of time.
