I gave myself this cut at 3am the other day and I think its the best my curls have EVER looked.
I gave myself this cut as well. It turned out soooo good! And yes, it does wonders for my curls. I love it! 👍🏼
I'm going to try it!
Definitely trying this, tip though....it's really hard to see what you're doing on such dark hair. Especially when you have a dark shirt on.
I was thinking the same thing.
I've been cutting and styling my own hair strictly myself since I was 14. As an adult I love watching content like this and have seen hundreds and tried dozens of tutorials, and yours are very very helpful to me, more than any others I watch. I've been using your videos to cut my own hair for about a year or so, and this one I've come back to about 3 times now. I went to cos school but didn't go into a career, but as my role as the "beauty Mom friend" in my friend circle, some of my main responsibilities is coloring, styling, and cutting my own hair and making my friends into masterpieces lol. It's a title I've taken very seriously for a long time 🤣 anyways, I realized years ago that because I didn't really continue with proper techniques and evolved into more efficient but less striking styles, I had to learn how to keep up with the times lol (as a proper mom friend should 🤣). Your channel has done wonders not just for my own hair and natural born curiosity and hobby of learning, but your content consistently gives me confidence that I just don't receive from other hair channels. In fact, my bestie that has been in my diy salon for 10 years, lives 6 hours away. She used to travel to me twice a year for a proper cut and color as she is a very fine curly girl with baby like hair and salons have always had a tendency to traumatize her; but due to high inflation we couldn't do our twice-to-thrice yearly kitchen salon appointment, and so I used your videos to teach her how to maintain her hair in between. She was always scared shtless of cutting her own but she has gotten a lot more confident in herself and I credit that to your authentic and genuine spirit and your dedication to helping people like us. So, thank you. I just really wanted to share that on this personal favorite video of yours.
Congratulations 🎉 🍼on your news. Never miss a curly cut. I like this one a lot ❤
Love it. Back in my youth, we called it a short shag. Never could find a hairstylist to accomplish the look you just did.
I can relate. I'm 57 and have been asking for a shag forever. I'm not sure y, but I never found a hairdresser that could figure it out. For 40 years! I had one guy try and talk me out of it. Idky unless he didn't know what to do? He was the owner too. That's the only time I've walked out of a salon. After the shampoo but before the cut. Not mad, just not trusting the guy. So my point? I love these tutorials! Wow! The results r amazing. Where were u in 1990?
Excellent…thank you! Might I suggest a light colored shirt or smock to better outline the hair.
Excellent tutorial!!
Thank you for this. 😂 I definitely needed the back part. I was doing mine differently. It is just to flat in the back and was scared to cut it wrong again. I’ve been looking for a round shape. But like a cub cut but I didn’t know what that was. It’s been coming out to long and no volume or roundness. Looks like a bell. I want curly volume with it looking very rounded or curls could be looser and above shoulder length.
Curly hair for the win. Thank you.
Congratulations on your new baby. Love the curly cuts. Hairstyles for mid length grey curly hair would be great. I struggle to know how to cut and style mine.
Love this cut❤❤❤curly girl here congratulations on the baby news

Looks beautiful. X
congratulations!
This IS what I wanted with my curly hair! 😢
Congratulations to you & your wife 🎉🍼💐
Would this technique be recommended for someone with type 4 hair?
Hi, when you cut..you don't lift the hair to the ceiling, why exactly? What will happen if you lift to the ceiling in terms of layers? Thank you very much..I love your videos💕💕💕
Congratulations!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations!! The best thing we ever created was our family!
Thanks so much I have very. Could I diy as I have very curly thick hair want to layer I am not a hairdresser
Great tutorial! My curls are begging me to do this😂
hahah love it
I did his wolf cut tutorial on my curls amazing I lost 10 years on my age 😊
PERFECT, before you cut the back length off...also your black shirt and black haired mannequin very difficult to see the haircut... but just what I was looking for, thanks 🙏 tons 😉
It's 4:30 in the morning and I decided It's time to give my curly hair a cut! Let's do this! 😆 I'll let you know how it works out
How did it go?
Pls tell us
Legend has is she is still cutting her hair
Nice approach to creating this shape. My only critique would be for you to consider wearing a white shirt instead of a black one when working on darker hair. I couldn't see the silhouette every time you stood behind the mannequin. Congrats on your new baby!
Is it just me or is the left side (our right side) longer than the right?
Hmm, kind of interesting idea with the rubber bands but the finished look is unrefined. And the bottom left side of her head is longer than the bottom right side. That is obvious. I guess if you're too particular then it's OK.
I like it❣️ Wonder if it would work for my 3b/3c coily type hair 🤔 Congratulations on the baby news 👶.
Thank you so much!!!
When he shook that mannequin head 😂
You forgot New Zealand!! ❤❤❤
apologes....
I can't even get the sections right....
Awesome cut my hair it's past my waist
so cool
Is her left side longer than her right?
No it's just the angle
In Italia we call her "pupette"
🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations❣️🤗🎉👣💓💕💞🎠🎀🎈🍼🙏➕😇
black hair, black t-shirt, it's not very visible
Maybe next time don’t wear a black shirt lol?
I wish you wear a lighter T-shirt or have a blonde model ….it would be so much better to see the hair . Thanks …great news about the baby ! 🩷
No likey, honestly. It doesnt look modern, just how all hair cutters just make all hair short.
That's great to hear!! As it's a take on the mullet and shag haircut from the 70's/80's so it's not supposed to look modern. It's only the name that's changed.
All I can see is Frank N Furter from Rocky Horror
too much talking
