I love seeing the polished results of each incredibly banded agates. These and your happiness in revealing make me smile all the time. Thank you for that.
I love watching your videos no matter what but I really did like seeing the polished stones after the cutting videos. It’s nice to see them cut and then see the finished product. It tells the complete story for each stone
I know how much work goes into each cut and polish, so seeing them all polished 1 min after they’re cut is not lost on me! Thanks for bringing so much joy to so many of us rock nerds! I’m 70, and STILL a rock nerd!
This was a veritable treat to see all these reveals. I can't possibly choose just one, they are all beautiful, even the fractured ones. Great job Taylor!
When I just can't take any more of life's current events, I turn to you. It just makes me smile at how excited you get over every rock. I don't think I have been that excited over anything in my entire life. I think it's great that you have found something that still continues to give you so much joy. Can you imagine a world where we all could find that. No one would have time for hate and war. Rock on!
Wow, that first Agat was special, liked it and the "snow" inside itSo much pink in that number two....nice!! Agats is "growing" on me 🤩I understand, I WANT one too 🤪They almost look ethereal and angel-like. 🙏🙏😍
These look like their imbued with star dust or glitter. Absolutely gorgeous. I could only dream of getting my hands on some so pretty. So for now I'll enjoy you cutting and collecting
I couldn't help but notice as you walked around your shop near the end of this video just how much that environment in which you work (and play!) has changed over 5 years! WOW!!i Just think, because of one little agate!
This is such great information. I grew up a little girl who loved horses and never could have one or really even ride. In my early 40s someone gave my sister an old pony for her kids to ride and the next thing I knew I was horse shopping. In the end I was lucky because both of the horses I ended up getting were such sweethearts, loved people, loved children and being handled. However, my first horse was a little bay Arabian, 13 years old, who had not been ridden in 4 years, when I realized we needed a second horse I went and got Dolly, a 18 month (!!! She looked grown up to me!) Tennessee Walking Horse. None of us knew how to ride much less train a horse (she was 18 months, his little sister rode her in the barn that winter!). We had no one to advise us. None of us had ever had lessons. My brother in law rode a pony when he was a kid. That was it. The only thing we did right is that we really ran our hands on and around all parts of their bodies, under their belly, tail etc. We watched their reactions while doing that and it was clear they were totally relaxed. No horrible things happened to us or Zee and Dolly but that is because we were lucky and because they were such innately kind and forgiving animals. So thank you for sharing your knowledge. I could have used you 25 years ago. People might not want to hear it but they should listen.
These are some of the most amazing agates ! Please get more to show us the inner beauty of these stones. I love this new format of cutting these gorgeous stones and showing the polish right away. Thank you so much for sharing your passion for agates. I never get tired of watching how excited you get with each beautiful stone.
I sure can see why you wanted to add these to your collection. They are some of the most beautiful agates I've seen. The parallax banding in these beauties was breath taking.
These were INCREDIBLE!! And so few fractures! Taylor, your personality brings me back as much as the gorgeous rocks you show us, simply fantastic channel ❤
I enjoy seeing the results of the cuts but your reactions are what keeps me coming back. You make cutting agates so enjoyable!! I love how excited you get!!
That first one looked like parallax banding through a snowstorm ❄️🌨❄️ That second one made my heart stop. The third one made my mouth fall open....oh my gosh. I lost count, but the one with black and complimentary quartz turned out gorgeous after your expertise. The last one was beautiful. Thank you, Taylor. Great video! ❤
How relaxing and also exciting it is to watch these videos you share with us. It is truly one of the high points in my "cyber experience"! It's amazing how so many times my breath is taken away. I just love it🥰! This batch is AWESOME! I also like your laughter when you are wrong about what's inside and the sad music when a stone is delegated to the "not to be polished" pile 😢! Thanks for what you do! Sending positive thoughts😊 for success for you and your family. Blessings 🙏, Dianne
I noticed the finger cots in this video. Is that something new for you? Any particular reason why? Just wonderin'! PS: watching these videos are one of the highpoints in my week. Do you know how much joy you bring as you approach, cut expose and sometimes tease, the stones for us to see? One of my favorite quotes is : "People may not remember what you said, but they will remember how you made them feel". YOU make me and I am most assured, many viewers feel so happy! Bringing joy is a blessed ability. I'm glad you have found a venue that is so pleasing to you and you share it so-o well! Many blessings. Aw ... I tried to add some imagoes, but they didn't materialize. Cyber poltergeist? :-)
I absolutely love seeing the polished results after seeing the cut. So amazing to see the rough outside, then the cut face, then the polished face. And these are some of the nicest agates ever, so beautiful.
Just had to make another comment! The one that you said looked angelic was REALLY gorgeous and I agree that the speckled rings are so very pretty!❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Awesome agates! I love the immediate satisfaction of seeing it polished right after the cut. For the pieces that don't make it to polishing, have you ever thought about tumbling them? Even if they break into smaller chips! Those could be used for many nice decor/craft items I think EDIT: commented too early haha. Maybe on the nodules with too much matrix, you could use a rotary tool to grind a lot away? I've yet to get into full Lapidary so I'm not entirely sure if this is feasible!
Put the mossy ones in a ultra sonic cleaner for about 15 minutes a lot of the moss will come out. I sometimes do not like the resilt so I cut them again cross ways to see if i have a better face. Nice stuff happy hounding sir.
Stunning! A new stone for me! Beautiful! I love the macro shots! I'll buy that amber one if you are wanting to get rid of it! You tossed it in the bucket. 😂 Thanks for sharing! 😊❤
I don't know how many times I picked my chin off the table with each revil. With each polish was another jaw dropping, excitement. Best part, our eyes are the first to see such wonder. Love from New Mexico ❤.
What a great set of agates. They polished up beautifully, and the macro shots at the end were just wow! Love the 3D and "snowstorm" speckling. Every one was beautiful.
A friend of mine just received a sliced and polished agate from her nephew. I was able to describe so many things about it because of you! Her partner said ‘You’ve got some rock solid knowledge!’😂
Hi, Taylor! Super stunning beautiful nodules! Macro is just cosmic. Loved every rock so much. ❤❤❤ These Calandrians took my heart not less than Malawi ones.😊
Just spectacular! Thanks for all the work you put into sourcing, cutting, polishing and creating this content for us to enjoy. I must admit I said. “Holy cow” a few time at the reveal of the polished agate at 8:16. Phew!
All so gorgeous - even the poor little fractured guy that got 'buried' in the fracture bucket. I hope you'll still sell those poor little guys from that bucket. Lots of people have soft spots in their hearts for the sad but beautiful little guys.
Totally agree with @hadenough below. YOUR BEST VIDEO YET! And I've watched probably all of your videos. I live in Mexico and really enjoy what Mexico has to offer Agate Dad. Thanks so much for letting me relive my rockhound days of long ago.
Showing the polished rock right after the cut with macro pix at the end is nice, its a better flow to the video than just a slideshow at the end imho. These are crazy pretty agates, thanks for sharing!
Love the Calandria agates! One way to keep from getting the surface fractures or heat fractures on your cuts is to use mineral oil instead of water. It is messier but it will save you tons of time since you won't have to grind/polish them out! You won't need to empty the mineral oil when you are done cutting for the day since it won't rust your blade or arbor. Only time you will need to empty and filter your oil is when it gets too muddy. I would recommend using the mineral oil on any saw bigger than 6".
Check out this perfect agate I found! th-cam.com/video/d3mRFVpS5dc/w-d-xo.html
cut polish show . wow ty.

I love watching your videos no matter what but I really did like seeing the polished stones after the cutting videos. It’s nice to see them cut and then see the finished product. It tells the complete story for each stone
As much as I love seeing the fruit of your skills, I enjoy experiencing your reactions...such outright joy!

It’s AWESOME seeing the polished version right after cutting like that, it’s just so much more shocking 😮
When I just can't take any more of life's current events, I turn to you. It just makes me smile at how excited you get over every rock. The macro photos were great. Some would make really neat screen saver pix.
"a crack in the vase, a defining detail, that makes it worthy of...collection." the fractures make the specimens better.
I couldn't help but notice as you walked around your shop near the end of this video just how much that environment in which you work (and play!) has changed over 5 years! WOW!!i Just think, because of one little agate!
I think about that little agate a lot :)
