Thank you so much for this video. I think another reason that people don’t believe is that some people want to think they are in total control of everything. "I don't think that'd be transformative for me, cause I don't think i need more signs" Yeah, that one made stop me think. That's something to reflect on.
We cannot live in amazement for the rest of our lives even if we have witnessed an extraordinary miracle right in front of our eyes. Our jubilation will eventually flatten out, even the memory can become less apparent over many years. As human beings with fallen nature we have weaknesses that constantly need repair, and we need constant nourishment and healing from God. If we see extraordinary miracles constantly, we'll get accustomed to them as well, in the end I believe we're called to believe and hang on to God through His grace and to do works of charity.
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son; if you ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14: 12-14)
Bravo Father. For bringing this topic up. I’ve seen more miracles in the protestant church than the Catholic Church. For one reason….lack of FAITH. I’ll give you one personal example. I told a priest something that miraculously happened to me. And he looked at me and laughed. And you wonder why 70% of Catholics do not believe that the Eucharist is actually the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Our church definitely needs a revival.
You can see them if you have your eyes open with faith. I think people nowadays often take ownership of things happening in their lives or call it luck or coincidence, when in fact it is God's hand at work in their lives. God knows our hearts and He is merciful, loving and giving. All we have to do is to open our eyes and see Him.
I experience miracles all the time. Sometimes they’re so crazy obvious and immediate that it makes me laugh with the joy of it. Our lives are a continuous miracle as is the beauty of the world around us along with all the quirky fellow humans we encounter. What a gift.
Yesss...We just can't see them because a whole lot of people don't believe! I had a wonderful miracle with the prayer of the Shoulder wound of Jesus🙏A wound I had for 5 years went away on the next morning after I said this prayer☺
Most of the time, I rationalize instead of acknowledging that it is a Miracle. Sorry, Lord. Most of the time, I forget that you are ever present in every thing, every time.
Thank you Fr Mark.Mary, This was great.. I love to hear ' little by little' very encouraging. I agree miracles are happening, but maybe we don't look at them. People pray for miracles especially health, if it never improves they get a kind of hard shell about it. There are relatives who pray for ones addiction, and same thing. But if the miracle happens in your life you either miss seeing it as such, or dismiss it for a change in circumstances or fall into an undeserving kind of guilt. So,really they're all around, not loud, well announced,, need to look, seek and be grateful. Glad you talked of Jesus' lesson of healing the 10 AND1 returned in gratitude, one of my favorites... Because I think the 9, maybe not all, had their lives changed. We're not looking at it directly. Maybe had that hard shell from so many years earlier, well it's not on our time and maybe faith helped the 9 remember,, it was all from that one day.. Fr,,? Can you say something about the grip of a death wish. Is it more like a dark depression or a real thing? Seems like its a horrible kind of like trap. Not really able to help because you're locked out.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and beliefs on miracles, Fr. Mark-Mary. I truly believe they're happening around us. Our Lady and St. Padre Pio have helped me get through some really tough times in my life. About a month ago on Easter Sunday night, I began to seriously read the Bible after something that happened through the intercession of St. Rita earlier in the day. I started with the book of Joshua followed by the Acts of the Apostles and was amazed by the apostles and disciples especially St. Paul, and continued reading all of his epistles. He spoke directly to me through his writings and has now become a good friend (in my mind). Perhaps miracles are not always tangible but more of a spiritual awakening such as peace in one's heart. God bless. +
Thank you, Fr. Mark Mary. I have been reading the Old Testament where our God continually reminds the Israelites through Moses and Aaron of the miracles associated with their flight from Egypt. And He sends the prophets to do the same. Still they regularly turn away. It is grace we need as you said. Our Lord's saving grace.
I do believe in miracles. I myself have experienced miracles in my life. I feel the same like you Father. I want God in my daily life. I would rather died that be godless. I am empty without my Catholic beliefs. God bless you. Thank you for saying yes to the Priesthood.
I believe miracles happen today....I am expecting my Lord Jesus Christ to Make a Way where it seems to be NO Way to bring my Prodigal daughter back home now! She was trained up in Parochial Schools & I am counting on HIM to do what HE did in LUKE 15!
I know a woman who teaches on miracles and faith and years ago she was to lecture at a venue out of state for her. She was very ill with a cold / flu and she felt embarrassed to teach that faith can bring miracles when she had this really bad cold. She prayed on the plane the whole trip and in the car on her way to the hotel and the cold was only getting worse. She felt desperate and defeated. She stopped in a pharmacy before going intro the hotel and was looking for something OTC that would give her relief. A gentleman was watching her and said if your looking for something for that cold you are not going to get anything OTC. She told him who she was and the man said he had tickets to that talk. He walked with her to the pharmacy counter where he was greeted with 'Hello Doctor ..." and he took out a prescription pad and wrote some scripts that would alleviate the distress so she could go on stage without being ashamed. If God healed her she may have thought it just ran its course. With meeting this doctor at the very MOMENT She Needed is much more impressive and hardly a coincidence! She opened her lecture with the story and was given a huge cheer from the crowd. She has many moments like this and can attest that when miracles Don't happen that is the unusual circumstance, Miracles happen all around us al day long. She is an incredible writer and speaker. If she was Catholic she would definitely be a saint. I learned much from her over the years.
Please pray for me! I feel like sometimes I do have a hard time believing in Jesus and everything the Catholic Church teaches. I want to believe! I really do, but sometimes in the back of my mind I think, what if this is all bogus... Also, I feel like I been suffering due to Spiritual sloth and I am chained in the sin of Lust. So please folks, Pray for me! God have mercy on us all!
I used to be skeptical in miracles. Even as I began to learn about Jesus miracles in the gospel, I thought it could never happen; at least in our time. it was not until one day, I heard a story my friend told me of how an altar server was cleaning up a church after Sunday Mass. As he was looking through the pews, he noticed there was a Eucharistic host sitting on the bench. This was obviously a cause for concern, but as part of general procedure for hosts that are not consumed is to dissolve them in water, then to place remains in a plant. So he did as such, taking the host and placed Jesus in a glass of water, left it in the sacristy to dissolve, then went home. Hours later, the altar server had a tug in his heart to go check on the Host that he had placed in the glass. He came back to the church sacristy, held the glass and closely looked to find that the host had bled and turned into a thick flesh like tissue. No one was at the church to tamper with the glass, so it certainly was a miracle (or somebody really cut off their own flesh in a perfect circle shape haha). many weeks after this miracle, I went to go check this myself and held the glass in my own hands to see that the Host, Jesus veiled in the Eucharist, was still red and freshly bleeding. The blood on the host was almost shaped like a heart. I do believe miracles exist, God will always reveal them to us only when we truly need to see that we need to wake up and believe in the Truth of His love for us. That is the real miracle.
Thank you. I was just wondering about whether or not it was ok to pray for miracles. It was a great experience because I received so many clues and reckonings!
On Jan. 8 this year during the Saturday Vigil Mass our Deacon suddenly could read the neither Gospel nor the intercessory prayers. He managed to make it through the Gospel and our Priest took over from him to finish the intercessory prayers. Meanwhile a couple of whom we later found out were nurses, motioned for Deacon Chris to come with them and he did. They suspected he'd suffered a brain bleed. His wife drove him to the local hospital and then he was later transferred to a hospital in a larger city. He did have a brain bleed but they never figured out why. Father Jerry proceeded with Mass. Shortly before Father Jerry elevated the Precious Body and Blood before Holy Communion. Father Jerry, placed his hands over the the Chalice of the Precious Blood and prayed for Deacon Chris' recovery. He was discharged on Jan. 11 and almost a month to the day on Feb 7, he was back reading the Gospel and intercessory prayers for a Mass for his Grandfather. God is so good. Praise Him in the Heights.
I agree with you! Miracles are happening. Often we have doubts and explain things away. Or we are looking for a specific thing to happen. Plus it seems that those who have a childlike faith may notice them more and maybe even have them more obviously. But they are happening. I do wish they were more dramatic sometimes! Also the fakes are out there too so we use extra cautiousness in believing! Thank you.🙏✝️
Can you please pray for a miracle to happen in my life? My wife comes home one day, tells me she's been cheating on me and leaving. A short time later I find myself alone, with my children any my possessions gone. I've spent an obscene amount of money in legal fees, and have dedicated my entire life into getting my children back. She desires to raise my three young children with the man she is currently with, while making my children believe he's their real father. I recognize that this is embarrassing, and you're required to just take my word. Up until the moment she vanished with my children being a father was my entire identity. I hadn't gone a day without my children from the time they were born; a decade. Maybe I'm guilty of idolatry with my children, but since this has happened I've grown infinitely stronger in my faith, do nearly everything I can to live the life that our creator desires, yet still I'm yet to see my children. Please pray for a miracle that God will return my children to me. If not, please pray he gives me peace because I'm suffering Job levels of pain without them. I believe in miracles, and I believe that I can be with my children again. I pray that if I don't receive a miracle, that we can all witness miracles, through our glorious saviors grace.
I believe that God exists, without a doubt. I believe he can do miracles. But... I prayed the rosary every single day from 2014 to 2021. I didn't work. So I stopped believing in the rosary. My faith in the saints intercession has also been extremely damaged. If you're reading this, and if you do believe in the power of the rosary and in the intercession of saints, ask them to prove me my lack of faith in these things are wrong. I need to be convinced to believe in this again and I need some miracles to it. I'm an ex-protestant who converted to the Catholic church in 2010.
I pray every day I believe in Jesus I believe in Catholic church believe in the Bible I don't know why is this happening to me it's been a nightmare in my health
I have witnessed many actual miracles of healing. Cancer vanishing, ACL's being repaired with MRI evidence, celiac being cured. It all happens still! It requires deep faith on behalf of the person praying though.

Thank you father! yes miracles do happen so long as one is open to seeing them rather than dismissing them to the idol of "coincidence"... I am so sad every time I hear a teacher claiming that "we don't see miracles here because our faith is strong, so we don't need them". I think such attitude actually hides some form of pride ("we're too good to not make miracles, therefore it can't be because of us"). In fact, the bibles teaches the opposite: "He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. And he was amazed at their lack of faith." (Mark 6:5-6) But Jesus said to them, “Only in his hometown and in his own household is a prophet without honor.” And He did not do many miracles there, because of their unbelief. (Matthew, 13:57-58) “Why are you so frightened?” Jesus answered. “How little faith you have!” Then he got up and ordered the winds and the waves to stop, and there was a great calm. (Matthew, 8:26) Obviously, i'm not a miracle worker either, so i have still some way to go...
I want to believe in miracles but I fear being let down. Oddly enough, I have always believed in the Marian apparitions. I definitely think people trust science 100%. I am interested in why Father Mark described being reasonable and cautious as a fault.
I know a woman pastor who runs a Christian alcohol program. One of the people said to her if God is so great why do I still want to drink? She told him the miracle is AA and all the people who support each other in finding our why they drink. You need to look inside and do the work too. Miracles always include people and many have to be the hands of God in a miracle. Personally, I believe God helps us through things but have never had an instant miracle that i could witness to. I hate being a sceptic because my faith in the Lord is very strong but i have never felt Him around me. Jesus talks about a mustard seed. My faith is Titanic (may not be the best comparison) compared to a mustard seed and I am embarrassed to say that I do resent that i don't feel him around.
This is a VERY interesting topic! I have considered the question myself. I can say this.. Miracles DO happen! I think the difference is is that the world is extremely secular and so they don't recognize miracles in the normal day to day life. They don't believe in God and therefore they don't believe in miracles. I see them but not everyone does.
I am open to the possibility that miracles occur. I am into Marian apparitions and Eucharistic miracles. I never deny the possibility of God and the supernatural. But I believe that we have to admit "we don't know" if something is unknown to us. All because we don't know or understand something, we should always seek and investigate. We need to look into claims and not jump to conclusions. However, if science and natural causes can't explain an unknown phenomena it doesn't mean that it is supernatural! By thinking this way, one is using the "God of the gaps" fallacy. This is when you attribute all the mysteries and unknowns in the world to God, aliens, ghosts, etc. All because science can't explain something now, doesn't mean it won't explain it later when it advances. However, can the supernatural be involved? Of course it can, but we shouldn't be ignorant and jump to conclusions. I would like to see Catholics like myself think this way. We should acknowledge that a miracle has occurred, but at the same time acknowledge that science can find an answer later.
Basically I think what the world gets wrong is they have faith in science to have every answer, which isn't so bad, except then they go on to say the questions science can never answer don't matter. I think Catholicism is having faith in science, because our God is the God of truth, and He gave us our intellects to comprehend Him, and the more we understand the truth the more we understand God, but we also have faith in the revelation of God, and that includes to the Church, and directly to us. I mean a personal back and forth relationship with Jesus is miraculous. And even if it's like the "God of the gap" like "lol I thought it was a miracle but turns out I was just a moron" thing, I think God uses our weakness to shepherd us sometimes, and God uses His strength to shepherd us sometimes. Sometimes He'll break the laws of reality, sometimes He'll heal your childhood trauma by timing a bunch of phonecalls perfectly. We don't have to say something was supernatural in order to say it was God speaking to us, God causes everything, and in that sense, the "natural" and "supernatutal" is a distinction that only really has to do with humans ability to master the phenomenon. Humans master creation, but never master God. So God works through whatever ways He wants, making stuff that submits to our understanding, stuff that will in the future submit to our understanding but is beyond us, and stuff that we are supposed to say "ok now that is HOLY ground." I think the distinction between the second and third group matters more on a societal level, but a lot less on a personal level. If you don't know something you don't know something, so why not let God knock you over the head with it.
About Adriàn Ortega Rojas, Vocational for The Priesthood in The Work of The Church of God Almighty Father, I agree with Father Mark Mary at speaking about Miracles, I know that The Miracles continue to be in The Catholic Faith and in Spiritual Life, it is known that before The Miracles were more due to The Faith of the people, but actually there are Living Miracles, I know actually, I agree with Father Mark Mary at speaking about The Apparitions of The Holy Virgin Mary, we count with Guadalupe, Lourdes, Fatima, El Cisne Ecuador, and many Miracles interceded by The Holy Virgin Mary and also Saints, God is Alive and God is here to Heal, Lord Jesuschrist and God Almighty Father
Remember how the rich man wanted God to send Lazarus back to warn his brothers; saying they would believe if they were visited by the dead. And God replied ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’ “ And then Jesus told John the Baptist's followers when they asked Him if He was the one, “Tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.” Mixed messages right? If John the Baptist's followers were convinced by Jesus' miracles, we should be too right? But no, we have to see them for ourselves like St. Thomas. So what does it mean when Jesus said, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” This might be `the thing' we should think about it. What does it mean? Why is it that it's the person who believes who has not seen who is blessed? Is this the one who has found favor with God? Is belief a gift from God and not reliant on miracles? So if you believe be of good heart because you are in God's favor? I seriously don't know the answers to any of these questions but I ponder them in my heart as Mary did and wonder at the ways of God that are not our ways.
Miracles happen and too many times there is denial and suppression of truth People would rather continue on in disbelief and lack of faith rather than accept God
It isn't a "movement"--it is basic common sense that fundamentalists can't explain. As I say in my own vids. The simple fact is we have no concrete data of "miracles." We have strange healings sometimes--as a medical provider I have seen some strange things. As far as the classic miracles, Juan Diego seeing the Virgin Mary and such there has never been concrete definitives that these actually happened. There are varying opinions. For that example some scientists explain it could have and some say it was definitely a hoax. It is funny how all of these no argument miracles only happened in a time when not only we didn't witness them but no one as far back as we can remember. We have stories after the fact--not the authorship of those who actually saw it. Like the resurrection which was put in writing decades after the fact. Cheers, DCF
The fact that anything is and that we live on a rock that is propelled through nothingness in orbit around a flaming star is not miraculous for you? Who conceived of this reality and existence we all share since it is not an accident it would have to be a miracle. Babies are still being born and the sun routinely rises in the east and sets in the west. There is nothing that is, that is not miraculous. We just take it all for granted. 🙏❤🔥
Huh? We have mass every day all over the world. In every mass alone, we witness a miracle - the transubstantiation. Friend: Where are you going? Me: Hear mass Also me: Witness a miracle
There is a miracle every time the Mass is said. The EUCHARIST!

I believe miracles still happen, but people aren't paying attention.
Maybe they aren't MIRACLES if you don't notice them.
Or they just don't believe anymore. Cognitive dissonance has become such an epidemic.
I just had a miracle. Couldn't control my anxiety due to some family issues. Prayed the Rosary and now it's gone. I consider that a small miracle.

This was great..
Thanks Father. The right words at the right moment.
I pray for miracle 🙏 ✝️🛐
I do believe in miracles. I myself have experienced miracles in my life. I feel the same like you Father. I want God in my daily life. I would rather died that be godless. I am empty without my Catholic beliefs. God bless you. Thank you for saying yes to the Priesthood.
I believe!!
This was so beautifully said and logically broken down so well, thank you.
I believe miracles happen today....I am expecting my Lord Jesus Christ to Make a Way where it seems to be NO Way to bring my Prodigal daughter back home now! She was trained up in Parochial Schools & I am counting on HIM to do what HE did in LUKE 15!
I join my prayers with yours. I have 2 prodigal children. God's grace is sufficient.
Scripture says, "Ask & it shall be given, Seek, & you will find, knock & it shall be opened"....why would GOD tell us if HE wouldn't do it?
Great message, fantastic words.
I agree with you! Miracles are happening.
Often we have doubts and explain things away.
Or we are looking for a specific thing to happen.
Plus it seems that those who have a childlike faith
may notice them more and maybe even have them more obviously.
Sometimes God sends an angel...like a good lawyer....just sayin'.
Yup.
I need a miracle in my life so I can see my son
🙏 I'm asking Mother Mary to help you.
I pray every day I believe in Jesus I believe in Catholic church believe in the Bible I don't know why is this happening to me it's been a nightmare in my health
If you'd be able to pray for me for two for God to help me with this pains on my body I'll be very glad please do so
I have witnessed many actual miracles of healing.
In fact, the bibles teaches the opposite:
"He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. And he was amazed at their lack of faith." (Mark 6:5-6)
But Jesus said to them, “Only in his hometown and in his own household is a prophet without honor.” And He did not do many miracles there, because of their unbelief. (Matthew, 13:57-58)
“Why are you so frightened?” Jesus answered. “How little faith you have!” Then he got up and ordered the winds and the waves to stop, and there was a great calm. (Matthew, 8:26)
Obviously, i'm not a miracle worker either, so i have still some way to go...
🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️
I don't know about other people but I can tell you in my case God has worked miracles upon miracles.
❤️
Awesome video!!! Miss the intros in the new videos though :( Minor detail, but a small joke or catchphrase helped to ease the tension :)
Einstein said, "There are two ways to live: As if nothing is a miracle, or as if everything is a miracle."
Dr. Craig Keener wrote a book on miracles by the name of Miracles. if you are looking for some verified miracles, perhaps you can begin with the book.
Well I believe in miracles I just wish God would give me one my back is killing me so badly
Ave christus rex!!!
Remember how the rich man wanted God to send Lazarus back to warn his brothers; saying they would believe if they were visited by the dead. And God replied ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’ “
And then Jesus told John the Baptist's followers when they asked Him if He was the one, “Tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.”
Mixed messages right?
If John the Baptist's followers were convinced by Jesus' miracles, we should be too right? But no, we have to see them for ourselves like St. Thomas. So what does it mean when Jesus said, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
This might be `the thing' we should think about it.
Cheers, DCF
Speak about how you sin. I need help with my examination of conscience.
Jesus is real
Ask yourself this question. Is it possible that there is a natural explanation of which you are unaware?

Would it be a miracle, if you were to shave everyday?
God what the devil's around you because he can judge you and anyone else he can help if he what but don't channels the Lord our God
Huh? We have mass every day all over the world. In every mass alone, we witness a miracle - the transubstantiation.
Friend: Where are you going?
Me: Hear mass
Also me: Witness a miracle
