Great to have a chance to watch this at UK time. Watching the boss fight through my fingers as you try to manually aim. It auto-locks on if you just hold square, facing roughly the right direction, without pressing any directions (standing still). You've probably figured that out by now
I don't think I've seen the briefing before and seeing it JUST after watching Escape From New York is a hoot. It's basically shot for shot (hah. ha) from that movie upd: OH MY GOD THEY SAID 24 HOURS
I don't even know why I am saying this especially, two years after the fact but I guarantee that if you would have started your channel out, with more recent/popular games, your channel would have blown up with a hell of a lot more subs, likes and views almost immediately because many people already know who you are from Game Spot etc. I understand why I hardly get any views or subscriptions on my channel and that is because nobody knows who I am on social media, for the most part. Also, TH-cam is the only platform that I am currently on. BTW, congratulations on working with Game Spot (again?) Anyway, we've all got to make a living somehow and at least you're doing something cool in my opinion. Peace and good luck with your career. P.S. Hopefully someday you will continue to upload new videos to your channel or even come out with a new one.
The worst thing about streams are the humans commenting horribly lame and spoilerish attempts at seeming witty. Also giving stupid advice, like to play on easy. Easy ruins the entire game.
Please don't take this the wrong way, I dont mean this rudely at all. I just feel like you talk and joke too much during cutscenes and miss important dialogue sometimes. Love hearing your commentary but I think its best to be said during game play rather than cutscenes.
At first I was slightly disappointed you didn't just go straight into the game, but I am super glad you did all the briefing stuff because I forgot how absolutely bonkers it was haha. And that Snake was nude the entire time!

I love watching people play this game for the first time but the best way to play this is on Playstation. The PC port is absolutely garbage theres just so many things that you miss from the original version and you lose a lot of the experience ie: DualShock, Back of the CD Case, Switching Controller ports, Mei Lings wisdom when saving. The controls during the ocelot fight are bad because you’re using a made up mapping on a terrible PC port they work completely smooth on Playstation
I wish I had my PlayStation with me, but PC was the only way I could buy the game and stream it easily ;_; Konami pulling it from sale for a bit didn't help either!
Not sure the type of person this player is and if she was joking or not but I doubt it seeing how she jumped on the female card so quick during the mei ling conversation about her being a woman who designed something, what's even more funny and sad is she got shut down pretty quick when his response was cute and not woman pretty much showing how she for some reason jumps to gender conclusions and i bet she's only like that when the subject is about women and not when roles are reversed.
