"Prosper is a sleeper" might be the funniest thing I've heard in a long time, that's why he's the most played rakdos commander (having 15k decks is insane, even for a precon commander).
Sleeper in terms of threat on the table, people just gloss over Prosper. In a vacuum you get 1 card and treasure a turn, and not always. People are rarely going to waste removal on him, and tbh while a great asset to the deck you're probably better off targeting win cons unless you have excess removal. As for Ob, he's really strong but unlike Prosper he will draw ire. Not only will you be pinging and annoying people, but a huge flample body has to be removed or the game ends. Couple this with high(though often wasted) impulse draw, and you'll either stomp the game or get 3v1 quickly.
As someone who recently built Slimefoot and squee I’ve been struggling. I went too hard in saproling tribal and did not enough Mill and sac outlets. I appreciated all your recs
You guys suggested some very wierd cards for slimefoot and squee, for mana ramp why wouldn't you use creatures that fetch pands as an etb that you can reanimate and use as sack fodder. Also atsushi and ashnod's altar gives you infinite mana for slimefoot and squee reanimations.
Extra turn spells are perfect for Yuriko. Let's be honest, we're never getting past like 6 mana anyways, those Draco's and eldrazi are reduced to burn spells. If you're going to have stupid expensive cards you might as well run extra turns bc they synergize.
Same, made a really janky version with thallids for saproling support/sacrifce outlets. It might not be the best version of this deck, but it is hell lot of fun.
I’ve actually been tweaking my maelstrom wanderer deck for the past few months and it’s pretty sweet. I focused my deck on bouncing the commander back and forth and having a bunch of stuff out that lets me draw from casting creatures to keep my hand full. It’s pretty scary and even if my commander gets countered the cascades still go off
I have to agree on them. Especially Prosper, Selvala and Wanderer. Selvala is like a submarine deck. You're like "ok sure" and then it's too late. I prefer Samut over Wanderer as Haste enabler because of white color over blue. But the extra cascade cascade is stupid. NEVER underestimate Haste on board. It WILL kill you.
@@mofomiko its 3 very different Builds. Xenagos is hard to remove, but it does grant Haste only on the combat phase to one target, tho it grants a very nice boost to it aswell. Samut, on the contrary, is just a massive board haste enabler by itself, she has Flash so it's not that hard to cast it at the good timing, you have access to Green and Mana Dorks which can tap immediatly and this will lead to a Turbo playstyle.
