I don’t think you should ever have to apologize for loving and being invested in a character.
Choso was an amazing character and so wholesome. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love Choso.
I will always remember when he was knocked down by Kenjaku and got back up with the hands of his brothers at his back and he showed the strength of each of them. That’s one of my fav sequences in the manga.
Choso’s final act to protect Yuji is sad but it also shows how powerful he is when it comes to protecting Yuji. Sukuna is a monster that’s we have to throw everyone at him.
Choso guarding Yuji at the epicenter of his ultimate attack, which was at full output, this is one of the most impressive feats in the manga. Likely some kind of death binding vow, but I think if Choso had to go out then this way really showed his character. He lived and died for his brothers.

(Also I really wanted Todo and Choso to meet. I also wished Todo wasn’t introduced in the same chapter as losing Choso, makes it feel like trading one brother for another, but Choso is irreplaceable)

Man I loved choso. He was to good for this world to the world who treated him so badly and all he had was his family and he put them above him. He needed a big brother too someone who wouldve sheltered him like he does to this younger brothers
I'm an older brother, so choso was a nice older brother. I like him for that taking care of the younger ones
I just realized that for Choso, Nanami, and Nobara, Yuji was the only person there for them when they died. They all got to reflect, say goodbye, and have their last words heard because of Yuji’s presence. They all got to have proper deaths
I cried reading it too. but I'm really happy that Yuji really loved him and you can feel how much they both felt that deep care for one another.
RIP Choso! The best older brother. It sucks it went down this way but I’m glad he got to go out protecting his family. Gege really gave us an amazing character in choso and gave him lots of love over the course of the series. Beautiful video, thank you!

When I read this chapter last week I immediately thought of you and your love for Choso and I was hoping this wouldn’t hit you this hard. Thinking back on his involvement with the disaster curses, Yuki and Kenjaku, and more importantly Yuji made him such a crazy rollercoaster of a character that it put him in my top 3. I think of how selfless he’s always been to Yuji and try to be a great big brother just like Choso. Rip to the goat 🩸 and hang in there Lindsay. Don’t apologize for shedding those tears 😢

In your previous JJK video I mentioned how Choso wasn't even one of my favorite characters and his death still hit me hard... I'm here to tell you that it hits me even harder at this moment. Choso's entire mindset/purpose was to be there for his family and do what's best given the circumstances... He made mistakes and did everything in his power to make amends for it, making him one of THE MOST relatable characters there is.. How can you NOT respect a character like that. He's most definitely going to be making another appearance behind Yuji's motivations and drive to end Sukuna's life
5:22 It’s so odd to me that it was said that Choso had honed his technique for 150 years before and that he got so good with just going on instinct/feeling. I cannot picture myself getting better at anything without breaking it down logically within my own mid. 🤯, Choso was a natural at jujutsu!

It always gets me the part where Choso calm down his little brothers, showing us how much he cares for them and how big his role of being a big brother is. Always being the adult in the room, always be the one who will protect and comfort the others. I wish Yuuji could cry Choso's death or show us that he actually cares. If Gege drew stuff of Yuuji remembering Nanami he has to give us Yuuji remembering Choso being the one who actually show him that he loved him D< uhg, I'm so mad now.
Yeah I wanted Yuji to have a bit more of a reaction to Choso’s sacrifice but I suppose the poor boy has seen his fair share of death in a short span of time. Choso was such an incredible brother though he’d never expect anything from anyone 🥲 he’s the best ugh I’ll miss him so much
@@lindsayroutliffe BTW, super mega late reply but I forgot to tell you that as a Choso lover like you, in my case it took me a whole week to stop crying. A whole week. I was doing something and then I remembered the chapter and I started to cry. He is my comfort character as well. I am one of those hardcore Choso fans, girl. So I know how you felt.
Todo is Sukuna's worst enemy, if he tries to pull a Jogo or Kashimo, Todo will summon the spirit of Takeda-chan to beat him up as well as hype up Todo with one of her songs.

This chapter literally broke my heart. I loved Choso's character and his relationship with his brothers and his partner Yuki. At least he's reuniting with them in the afterlife. His character development to a cold, emotionless person, to a person who wants best for Yuji and his future of his friends. And also, we were ROBBED of Todo-Choso-Yuji trio jumping Sukuna together. Well, that's the end of this comment. And from now on, everytime I look at Choso when season 3 arrives, I cannot simp for him normally. And then again, I do not regret simping for him. Rest well, Choso. He's with his brothers now. 😭😭😭😭
