I've always had Jacks, they are fearless. One year I went to stay with friends who had a large German Shepherd and my latest Jack was four months old and everyone was so afraid that the Big dog would harm her. My little jack jumped up and grabbed the throat of the big dog and dangled there as the big girl walked around the garden ! That night little Alias ( my Jack ) slept curled in the legs of the big dog.
Aww this brings back memories... When I was young our 2 jack russel terriers had 2 litters. We kept the second cause we had a big property... It was amazing having all those puppies to play with as a kid. I love jack russels.
Please please those who are planning to get JRTs please consider that they are not suitable for apartment living. They need space to roam around and chase. Even if you take them for a walk will not be enough for this high energy beautiful creature.

i love Jack Russell Terriers i have one and I'm searching for a mate for him but I looked at pet rescue places,dog pounds and some places. But they weren't in my state the problem was that most were spayed , didn't like kids/other dogs, or were males and the females probably were too young or old
