the funny part a about this is the fact that technically within india itself we have a bigger problem about these "ghost guns" than the states does lol, granted it is illegal over here to make guns but despite this, selling these homemade firearms or "desi kattas" as we call it is a pretty big business here where every criminal or common man can buy these guns on the black market for cheap. Why hell we have had multiple cases in many states where people are found owning 20 guns, 40 guns, 99 guns, and somtimes even a 100 - 120 guns! with shootings being not nearly as uncommon as people think here, but most hardly get covered outside india since they arent really relevant outside the country

The barrel of course is not 3-d printed, but it can be produced with electro chemical process that doesn't require heavy machinery.
The whole set of schematic require to produce it, including how to create your own 9mm bullet is available in the internet if you put some effort to find it.

But yet you don't report on the thousands of people that die every month because of insurance companies refusing to pay for medical treatment and most of those treatments they will deny the first second or third time letting people appeal hoping to people will die or pay for it themselves so they don't have to. Let me reply to you,
Ghost guns are 3-D made guns, in a way very analogous to our desi Katta,
the desi katta is made in crude way and good for 1-5 shots, 3D printed guns are made using 3D printer, but in same way they they are good for 1-5 shots. The barrel and action is made of 3D Material and not good quality forged steel or material. Also these barrels are made by 3D printing using a "original" barrel, thus all the 3d printed barrel will have the exact same grooves, so 3 different persons can use 3 different 3D printed guns based on same original, and when the bullets are recovered, they would show the same microscopic grooves when forensic testing is done in gun labs.
These are disposable guns that would come at fraction of the cost, the guns are made with 3d printer, but the bullets are original.

The fact that the gun was a "ghost gun" had nothing to do with whether or not the killer got away or was caught. Cameras were his undoing. Once they caught him, it didn't matter where the gun came from or how it was acquired - they could still match it to crime scene evidence (bullets, casings).
There is no scenario in which the origin of the gun impacts the apprehension of a suspect.

I am not sure how a 3d printed gun can be made since most of the hobby 3d printers print material which is similar to plastic (loosely comparing them), while a gun needs a barrel and chamber which can hold the pressure and high temprature from the explosion and would result more damage to the holder than the target if 3d printed, We have seen even metal barrels explode and hurting the holder. But if its guns made without a number yes these can be made with someone who know how to make one, and illegal in most of the places

Maybe we should start focusing on building, mentally and spiritually healthy societies, instead of blaming a tool(the gun) for all of our problems!.. A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.
And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Also if you take someones life, then your life should be taken an eye for an eye. I promise with these 2 things, the crime rate will go way down.
