  • I auditioned for a part in my local theater's production of Romeo and Juliet and here is a memorized dramatic rendition of a famous monologue by Hamlet. Personally, I regret choosing this monologue to preform because I feel it is so self-deprecating as Hamlet berates himself for not having the courage to avenge his father's death. If I could advise Hamlet in that moment, I'd tell him that he should not isolate and berate himself as he does in the play, but he should have reinforced loyal connections with people in high places and considered ways to prove his uncle guilty without consorting to his uncle's death and thereby contributing to his own death.
