- A group of interns learns about life, love and medicine during their first year at New North Hospital. John (Cliff Robertson) jeopardizes his future by swiping some pills to help a desperate model (Suzy Parker), funnyman Sid (Nick Adams) begins a relationship with a dying patient (Ellen Davalos), and Alec (Michael Callan) juggles two relationships at once. Only Madolyn (Haya Harareet), a single mother, exhibits the kind of poise and seriousness befitting a professional.

This is good. So good it's a reminder of how very awful television is now. Truly disgusting. I can't think of one newer show that I like or watch. Thank you for making this available. 🌹
My career was in healthcare and I was born the year this was made, so this was an interesting time capsule to view. It was not AS offensive as I would have thought, and actually somewhat progressive FOR THE TIMES. Different ethnicities and races were represented, although not much engaged. There was plenty of sexist behavior, but they gave a strong voice to the one female intern. Weird to see so many doctors spoking, and in the hospital. I remember when you could smoke in the hospital cafeteria. Hard to imagine now.
