I bought my daughter a 2000D for Christmas. Curious question we were going through some of the pictures and deleted some we didn’t like. she now would like to get them back is that possible. On the counter on the upper right hand corner it shows spaces in the numbers. For example it says 5,6,7,10,11,13 ect. And that’s one of the other questions is in the upper right hand corner when we started taking pictures it said 100/0,100/1,100/2 ect does the 100 mean. Thank you so much Fred ps we like your videos a lot.
Hello, OK so the answer about retrieving erased pictures should be yes, but you will have to go to the website for whoever has made the card. Basically, the card has designated the erased files to be overwritten, but has not actually erased them. So, provided you haven't taken too many pictures since, then they should be available if you use the right retrieval software. However - and I am sure you will have pointed this out - it would be far better to download all your pictures onto a hard disk or a computer and then make the decision, or decide to keep all your pictures, just saving the best ones to a separate file. As for the 100 at the top of the screen, that refers to the folder the pictures are in. The camera automatically creates a folder called 100Canon, when you format the card. The 100 refers to that. If you create a new folder, it will be called 101Canon, and the number will be 101. I do hope you are having fun with your 2000D. It is a great little camera.
Hello, the kit lens is very much a generalist lens and is not great for macro photography. The camera itself will be good, but i suggest you look at getting another lens more suited for macro. if macro is your thing, then a lens like the EF-S 35mm f/2.8 Macro IS STM Lens would be perfect, not least because it has a built in light, so that you don't need to worry about the lens obstructing you light source. If you don't want to spend the money, then you could look at extenders or filters, probably with a prime lens - a 50mm for example. @@TheMartuco Yes, I think so. Whilst the store is probably right, I think starting with an all Canon kit is advisable. Then when you have found your feet, you can decide which lenses to buy..
I have returned to photography after years of not having time..I used to have a Canon A1..and had lenses for it..are any of these lenses compatible with my new Canon EOS 2000d
no, not directly. The EOS system uses EF lenses (which can be used on full frame EOS cameras and crop frame EOS cameras) and EF-S lenses (which can be used on crop frame EOS cameras). They have auto focus and auto exposure. The FD lenses are manual, with auto exposure. You can get an adapter, like the Kood Canon AF To Canon FD Adapter, which is quite cheap and would let you attached your FD lenses to any EOS camera, but the lens would remain manual focus and you would lose the auto exposure as well. If you are going to get an EOS camera, I would suggest that you get the kit lens too, and the adaptor and then play around with your old lenses, but have the kit lens as back up or for days you just need to take a decent picture..
Great video. I'm an RE appraiser and I recently purchased the Rebel T7 for my appraisal business. I'm replacing my Nikon L840 as the focus mechanism is not working properly. After I finish taking photos of the home I'm appraising, I download them into my desktop PC. I notice there's a port on the side of the camera for what looks like downloading photos, but I'm not seeing it automatically detecting the photos as my Nikon does. What is the procedure for downloading photos from the Rebel T7?
The cable from the camera can be unreliable. For example, I have two usb ports on my computer and the cable works with one and not the other. So, I use a card reader. My laptop has a SD reader in the side, but if yours doesn't then you can buy one (SanDisk Extreme Pro SD SDHC SDXC Card USBC Reader, for example) for $30 or so. It is much easier to transfer files over using a card reader.
Hi, pretty much as high as you can get. 256gb cards are around and would work fine. Make sure they are suitable for shooting video (so a sdxc card for example). All I would say is that the bigger the card, the more likely you will take longer intervals between downloading your content from your camera. If you don't back up your stuff, you might loose it if the card fiais. For that reason I use 32GB cards.
On the mode dial, use the option just below the green option to shoot without flash. To shoot with background blur, you will nee to shoot on Av and reduce the aperture as much as possible. That will take some practice.
@@NikonD5200Channel thank you. Just charging it up, you was right in regards to temptation and putting the battery straight in 😂. I took it out to charge. I got the bundle kit ef-s18 -55mm, ef75- 300mm. My only reservation that it doesn't shoot 4k and the FPS is 3 shots. Think the FPS rate would be good for high speed dog movements. 4k don't know if I would really use it.
@@rickysingh616 Hi, the 3fps is how many frames per second it can take. For high speed pics, it is more about the shutter speed, which for this camera will go up to 1/4000 sec, which is plenty fast enough.
Got a question. Everytime I press my shutter i got the flash just spamming without taking a picture. it was not doing that when i first got it . not sure what i did . can anyone help me
Hello Robert, yes that shouldn't be a problem. The lens hood is attached to the lens rather than the camera, so it would depend what lens you were using as to the type of hood that would be best, but it would be fine.
Marco Salamanca hey!! Its a great camera i love it! But then again i’m not a pro photographer and all that so I probably don’t know the difference but it definitely takes good quality photos
Hello, the f numbers on the lens are the measurements of the aperture. The aperture is the size of the space that you ( or the camera) sets to let the right amount of light in. The wider the aperture, the more light come in. The smaller F numbers (f3.5, or f4 for example) let more light in than the larger numbers ( f22 or f32, for example). There are three basics of photography, film speed, shutter speed and aperture. With those three factors, you can control the light coming into the camera and the kind of pictures you can take.
Also, you should check that you don't have the wifi enabled - set up menu 3 - the camera won't operate the cable if wifi is enabled..
Hi your video is amazing.. how ever I am unable to download the guide. Page is not available. Can you please help me download the free guide.
I have a canon eos 2000d camera whats the highest memory card can u use on it
Hi, pretty much as high as you can get.
@@NikonD5200Channel I'm getting a 128gb sandisk
wonderful tutorial
Thank you! 😊
Great vid ... I shall link this in my unboxing of the Canon eos 2000d .
Amazing voice.
Thank you so much, this is very helpful!
Just bought the camera. How do I turn the flash off during autofocus and how can I take blurry background images with my dogs?
@@NikonD5200Channel thank you, I'll let you know how I get on 👍
Got a question. Everytime I press my shutter i got the flash just spamming without taking a picture. it was not doing that when i first got it . not sure what i did . can anyone help me
I have a E0S Canon 4000d Is this camera able to have a lense hood on it at all by any chance.? Thank you Robert.
Hello Robert, yes that shouldn't be a problem. The lens hood is attached to the lens rather than the camera, so it would depend what lens you were using as to the type of hood that would be best, but it would be fine.
@@NikonD5200Channel oh good that's brilliant thank you so much for your help most appreciated. 👍:)
Hello what is setup for a clean HDMI out
what do you mean by that exactly? can you tell me your set up?
you can run, i think, with a clean back screen with the auto focus in live mode.
Sir what should I do for external flesh light this camera has no hot shoot point ....The fifth point on the top of camera
hello, that is a hot shoe, not a cold shoe, so you can run a flash from it. It must be a Canon dedicated flash, though...
From NYC
Thank you
Do you know any adapter to use a Nikon lens on this 2000D camera?
I haven't actually done this, but there is some information here that you might find useful: photographylife.com/use-nikon-lenses-canon-dslr
Love your voice
I bought the camera 📸 its great!
How's it going? I am considering it too so I am looking for honest feedbacks.. Happy with the purchase?
Marco Salamanca hey!! Its a great camera i love it! But then again i’m not a pro photographer and all that so I probably don’t know the difference but it definitely takes good quality photos
How do you get the H option in the ISO menu, my T7 has Auto 100-6400, but does not show an H
Nevermind, I found it, Menu>Custom Function>ISO Extend> ON.
Great explanation on all the other points in the video.
I have a question what is the f on this camera lense from the lowest to highest
Hello, the f numbers on the lens are the measurements of the aperture. The aperture is the size of the space that you ( or the camera) sets to let the right amount of light in. The wider the aperture, the more light come in. The smaller F numbers (f3.5, or f4 for example) let more light in than the larger numbers ( f22 or f32, for example).
There are three basics of photography, film speed, shutter speed and aperture. With those three factors, you can control the light coming into the camera and the kind of pictures you can take. If you want to know more about lenses, check out my lens course th-cam.com/video/GT5xu5IgOm4/w-d-xo.html
Very good information
Do you recommend this for portraits ?
